Speciﬁcation

WARNING: Always wear ear protection where the sound level exceeds 85dB(A) and limit the time of exposure

if necessary. If sound levels are uncomfortable, even with ear protection, stop using the tool immediately and

check the ear protection is correctly ﬁtted and provides the correct level of sound attenuation for the level of

sound produced by your tool.

WARNING: User exposure to tool vibration can result in loss of sense of touch, numbness, tingling and

reduced ability to grip. Long-term exposure can lead to a chronic condition. If necessary, limit the length of

time exposed to vibration and use anti-vibration gloves. Do not operate the tool with hands below a normal

comfortable temperature, as vibration will have a greater effect. Use the ﬁgures provided in the speciﬁcation

relating to vibration to calculate the duration and frequency of operating the tool.

Sound and vibration levels in the speciﬁcation are determined according to EN60745 or similar international

standards. The ﬁgures represent normal use for the tool in normal working conditions. A poorly maintained,

General Safety

WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions

WARNING: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced,

physical or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge unless they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated

(cordless) power tool.

1) Work area safety

a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ﬂammable

liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose

control.

2) Electrical safety

a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter

plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodiﬁed plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of

electric shock.

b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and

refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.

c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk

of electric shock.

d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.

Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the

risk of electric shock.

e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a

cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD)

protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

3) Personal safety

a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do

not use a power tool while you are tired or under the inﬂuence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A

moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.

b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust

mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce

personal injuries.

c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power

source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your ﬁnger on

the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.

d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left

attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.

e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the

power tool in unexpected situations.

f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from

moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these

are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.

4) Power tool use and care

a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool

will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be

controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before

making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety

measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.

d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the

power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of

untrained users.

e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and

any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool

repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less

likely to bind and are easier to control.

g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking

into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for

operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

5) Battery tool use and care

a) Recharge only with the charger speciﬁed by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type

of battery pack may create a risk of ﬁre when used with another battery pack.

b) Use power tools only with speciﬁcally designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may

create a risk of injury and ﬁre.

c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins,

keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to

another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a ﬁre.

d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact occurs,

ﬂush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the

battery may cause irritation or burns.

6) Service

a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualiﬁed repair person using only identical replacement parts.

This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Impact Driver Safety

WARNING: It is imperative to follow all national safety regulations concerning installation, operation and

maintenance.

a) ALWAYS hold the tool by the insulated gripping surfaces. Operations where the tool, ﬁtted

accessories or fasteners may contact hidden ‘live’ wiring will make exposed metal parts of the tool ‘live’

and cause an electric shock hazard to the operator.

b) DO NOT allow anyone under the age of 18 years to use this tool, and ensure that operators are

qualiﬁed and familiar with the operating and safety instructions.

c) ALWAYS grip the tool ﬁrmly, DO NOT overreach, and ensure you won’t lose control. Keep secure

footing whilst using an impact driver.

d) Battery chargers are for indoors use only. Ensure that the power supply and charger are protected

against moisture at all times.

e) When using the impact driver, use safety equipment including safety glasses or shield, ear

defenders, and protective clothing including safety gloves. If the work produces dust wear

respiratory protection suitable for the work being undertaken. A minimum rating of FFP2 is

recommended. If operating the tool causes discomfort in any way, stop immediately and review your

method of use.

f) Ensure that the lighting is adequate.

g) Ensure that the impact driver bit or accessory is securely ﬁxed in the bit holder. Insecure

accessories can be ejected from the machine causing a hazard.

h) DO NOT exert pressure on to the tool. To do so would shorten its service life.

i) If you are interrupted when operating an impact driver, complete the process and switch off

before looking up.

j) Where possible, use clamps or a vice to hold your work.

k) Examine the bit holder regularly for signs of wear or damage. Have damaged parts repaired by a

qualiﬁed service centre.

l) ALWAYS wait until the impact driver has come to a complete stop before putting it down.

m) Periodically check all nuts, bolts and other ﬁxings and tighten where necessary.

n) Only use bits and accessories, speciﬁcally designed for use with impact drivers. Conventional

bits and accessories may shear off during use, or be otherwise damaged, potentially ejecting dangerous

projectiles.

o) Ensure that fasteners are suitable for impact driver use. Nuts, bolts and screws that are not suitable

for high torque application may be damaged.

Battery and Charger Safety

Use the battery charger correctly

• Refer to the section of this manual relating to use of the battery charger before attempting to charge

the battery

• Do not attempt to use the charger with any batteries other than those supplied. Keep your battery charger

clean; foreign objects or dirt may cause a short or block air vents. Failure to follow these instructions may

cause overheating or ﬁre

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly

qualiﬁed persons in order to avoid a hazard

• Examine the battery charger regularly for damage, especially the cord, plug and enclosure. If the battery

charger is damaged, it must not be used until it has been repaired

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance

Warning: Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries

Battery and charger safety features

The battery and charger are ﬁtted with a number of safety features which may be triggered during charging

or operation:

• Over-charge protection: Charger automatically switches off when the battery has reached full charge

capacity, protecting the internal components of the battery

• Over-discharge protection: Prevents the battery from discharging beyond the recommended lowest

safety voltage

• Over-heat protection: Sensor switches off if the battery becomes too hot during operation. This can

happen if the tool is overloaded or being used for extended periods of time. Up to 30 minutes cooling time

may be required depending on the ambient temperature

• Overload protection: Battery temporarily stops if it is overloaded or the maximum current draw is

exceeded, protecting the internal components.The battery will resume normal operation when the current

draw returns to a normal safe level. This may take a few seconds

• Short circuit protection: The battery will stop working immediately if a short circuit occurs, this prevents

damage to the battery or tool

Use batteries correctly

• Only charge batteries using the charger provided. Only use batteries provided with this power tool, or

others recommended by the supplier. Keep batteries clean; foreign objects or dirt may cause a short.

Allow batteries to cool for 15 minutes after charging or heavy use. Failure to follow these instructions may

cause overheating or ﬁre.

WARNING: Li-Ion batteries, if incorrectly used, stored or charged are a ﬁre, burn and explosion hazard.

• Keep the battery out of reach of children

• Only charge Li-Ion batteries using the charger provided or designed speciﬁcally for your product

• Only use Li-Ion batteries provided with a product or speciﬁcally designed to be compatible

• Allow batteries to cool for 15 minutes after charging or heavy use. Failure to follow these instructions may

cause overheating or ﬁre

• When not in use batteries should be stored at room temperature (approximately 20˚C)

• Ensure that battery contacts cannot accidentally short in storage. Keep batteries clean; foreign objects

or dirt may cause a short. Keep away from other metal objects, for example paperclips, coins, keys, nails

and screws

• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. This liquid may cause skin irritation

or burns. Avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, ﬂush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek

medical help

• Do not open, disassemble, crush, heat above 60°C or incinerate. Do not dispose of in ﬁre or similar

Intended Use

Battery-operated general-purpose impact driver, suitable for light to medium duty tasks, driving screws, nuts

and bolts.

Unpacking Your Tool

• Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself with all its features and functions

• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or damaged,

have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool

Before Use

Removing a battery

• To remove the Battery (9) from the impact driver, press the Battery Release (10), then slide the Battery

off the Hand Grip (7)

WARNING: DO NOT try to remove the Battery without pressing the Battery Release button. The drill or Battery

could be damaged.

Fitting a battery

1. To ﬁt a charged Battery, slide it on to the Hand Grip (7) of the drill until it clicks and locks into position

Note: Make sure the Battery and Impact Driver are lined up correctly. If the Battery does not slide into the

Impact Driver easily, don’t force it. Instead, slide the Battery out of the Impact Driver again, check the top of

Battery and the Impact Driver battery slot are clean and undamaged and that the contacts are not bent.

Setting up the battery charger

1. If ﬁtted, remove any Battery (9) from the Battery Charger (12)

2. Insert the Battery Charger mains plug into a suitable mains socket

Note: The Green LED (13) on the Battery Charger will blink to indicate that the charger is ready to charge

the battery.

WARNING: ONLY use this charger to charge the supplied battery or additional purchased batteries that are

speciﬁcally designed for this tool.

WARNING: The charger is designed for indoor use only, and MUST NOT be used in damp or wet conditions.

Charging the battery

WARNING: Failure to follow the correct procedure when charging batteries will result in permanent damage.

Note: Normal charging time is 1 hour for a recently discharged battery. However, if the Battery (9) has been

left in a discharged state for some time, it may take up to 1.5 hours to charge.

1. Slide a fully or partially discharged Battery on to the Battery Charger (12)

Note: Make sure the Battery and Battery Charger are lined up correctly. If the Battery does not slide on to the

Battery Charger easily, don’t force it. Instead, remove the Battery, check the tops of the Battery and the Battery

Charger slot are clean and undamaged and that the contacts are not bent.

2. Once charging commences, the Red LED (14) will illuminate

3. When the Battery is fully charged, the Green LED will be illuminated

Battery Charge Level: The Battery (9) has a built-in Battery Charge Indicator (8) (Fig. I). Pressing on the

button to the right will indicate the charge level. The right LED indicates a high charge level and the left LED

indicates a low charge level that will mean the battery pack will require charging soon.

IMPORTANT: When a low charge level is indicated be aware the tool may stop operating while using the tool.

In some instances this may be dangerous. It is recommended to always ensure the battery pack has a good

charge level.

Notes about battery charging:

• The battery should be charged at ambient temperatures between 10 and 40°C (ideally around 20°C)

• After charging, allow 15 minutes for the battery to cool before use

• Ensure that the Battery Charger (12) is disconnected from the mains supply after use, and is stored

correctly

• DO NOT leave batteries on charge for extended periods and NEVER store batteries on charge

• The Battery Charger monitors battery temperature and voltage while charging. Remove the battery once

charging has been completed to maximise charge cycles of the battery and not waste power

• Batteries can become faulty over time, individual cells in the battery can fail and the battery could short.

The charger will not charge faulty batteries. Use another battery, if possible, to check correct functionality

of the charger and purchase a replacement battery if a faulty battery is indicated

• DO NOT store Lithium-Ion battery packs in a discharged state long term. This can damage the Lithium-Ion

cells. For long-term storage, store batteries in a high charge state disconnected from the power tool

• The capacity of batteries will reduce over time. After 100 charge cycles, the battery’s operation time

and the maximum torque performance of the drill will slightly reduce. This decline will continue until the

battery has minimal capacity after 500 charge cycles. This is normal and not a fault with the battery pack

Fitting a driver bit

WARNING: DO NOT ﬁt any attachment with a maximum speed lower than the no load speed of the machine.

1. Pull the Collar (2) of the Hex Bit Holder (1) forward, and insert the bit

3. Pull on the bit to check that it is securely ﬁtted. If the bit is not secure, repeat the above procedure

Note: Make sure screwdriver bits used are hardened and suitable for use with an impact driver.

Operation

Direction control

WARNING: NEVER change the direction of rotation while the tool is running. This may cause permanent

damage to the tool.

• The direction of rotation can be set using the Forward/Reverse Switch (5)

• For anti-clockwise rotation, push the switch to the right

• For clockwise rotation, push the switch to the left

Note: When the Forward/Reverse Switch (5) is in the central position, the drill is locked and cannot be

switched on. Use this setting as a safety feature to prevent the drill from being switched on accidentally.

Switching on/off

WARNING: ALWAYS wear adequate personal protection equipment when setting up and operating this

machine.

1. To start the drill, squeeze the Trigger Switch (6)

2. The built-in Work Light LED (15) will illuminate when the Trigger Switch is squeezed

Note: If the Trigger Switch cannot be pressed down, check that the Forward/Reverse Switch (5) is not set to its

middle position, which locks the device (see ‘Direction control’).

3. The speed of the impact driver is controlled by the movement of the trigger: the further the Trigger Switch

is pressed down, the faster the impact driver will run

4. Release the Trigger Switch to stop the machine

WARNING: If the power tool gets excessively hot in use, stop using the tool immediately and allow to cool

before continuing work. The cooling period can be reduced by operating the impact driver at maximum speed

with no load. Always make sure the Motor Vents (4) are not blocked and do not allow dust to enter the body of

the tool through the Motor Vents; dust, especially metallic dust, may damage or destroy the tool.

Maintenance

• This tool is manufactured using class-leading components and makes use of the latest in intelligent

circuitry that protects the tool and its components. In normal use it should provide a long working life

Cleaning

• Keep your machine clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and shorten

the machine’s service life. Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush or dry cloth. If available, use

clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes

Storage

• Store this tool and its accessories after use in its case, in a dry, secure place out of the reach of children

Disposal

Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional and are

not viable for repair.

• Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), with household

waste

• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose of power tools

het limiteren van de blootstellingstijd vereist. Bij oncomfortabel hoge geluidsniveaus, zelfs met het dragen

van gehoorbescherming, stopt u het gebruik van de machine onmiddellijk. Controleer de pasvorm en het

geluiddempingsniveau van de bescherming.

WAARSCHUWING: Blootstelling aan trilling resulteert mogelijk in gevoelloosheid, tinteling en een vermindert

gripvermogen. Langdurige blootstelling kan leiden tot chronische condities. Limiteer de blootstellingsduur en

draag anti-vibratie handschoenen. Vibratie heeft een grotere invloed op handen met een temperatuur lager

dan een normale, comfortabele temperatuur. Maak gebruik van de informatie in de speciﬁcaties voor het

Algemene veiligheid

WAARSCHUWING Lees alle bediening- en veiligheidsvoorschriften. Het niet opvolgen van alle

voorschriften die hieronder vermeld staan, kan resulteren in een elektrische schok, brand en/of ernstig letsel.

WAARSCHUWING: De machine is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen met een verminderde mentale

of fysieke gesteldheid of een gebrek aan ervaring, tenzij de persoon wordt begeleid of geïnstrueerd door een

persoon verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid

Bewaar deze voorschriften voor toekomstig gebruik.

De term “elektrisch gereedschap” in alle hieronder vermelde waarschuwingen heeft betrekking op uw

elektrische gereedschap dat op de stroom is aangesloten (met een snoer) of met een accu wordt gevoed

(snoerloos).

1) Veiligheid in de werkruimte

a) Houd de werkruimte schoon en zorg voor een goede verlichting. Rommelige en donkere ruimtes

leiden vaak tot ongelukken.

b) Werk niet met elektrisch gereedschap in explosieve omgevingen, bijvoorbeeld in de aanwezigheid

van ontvlambare vloeistoffen, gassen of stof. Elektrisch gereedschap brengt vonken teweeg die stof of

dampen kunnen doen ontbranden.

c) Houd kinderen en omstanders uit de buurt wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap bedient. Door

aﬂeiding kunt u de controle over het gereedschap verliezen.

2) Elektrische veiligheid

a) De stekkers van het elektrische gereedschap moeten passen bij het stopcontact. Pas de stekker

niet aan. Gebruik geen adapterstekkers bij geaard elektrisch gereedschap. Het gebruik van

ongewijzigde stekkers en passende stopcontacten vermindert het risico op een elektrische schok.

b) Vermijd lichamelijk contact met geaarde oppervlakken zoals pijpen, radiatoren, fornuizen en

koelkasten. Het risico op een elektrische schok neemt toe als uw lichaam geaard wordt.

c) Laat elektrisch gereedschap niet nat worden. Wanneer elektrisch gereedschap nat wordt, neemt het

risico op een elektrische schok toe.

d) Beschadig het snoer niet. Gebruik het snoer nooit om het elektrisch gereedschap te dragen, te

trekken of om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken. Houd het snoer uit de buurt van hitte,

olie, scherpe randen of bewegende delen. Een beschadigd of in de knoop geraakt snoeren verhoogt

het risico op een elektrische schok toe.

e) Wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap buiten gebruikt, maak dan gebruik van een verlengsnoer

dat geschikt is voor gebruik buitenshuis. Gebruik een verlengsnoer dat geschikt is voor gebruik

buitenshuis om het risico op een elektrische schok te verminderen.

f) Indien het onvermijdelijk is elektrisch gereedschap te gebruiken in een vochtige omgeving,

gebruik dan een energiebron met een aard lek beveiliging (Residual Currency Device). Het gebruik

van een RCD vermindert het risico op een elektrische schok.

3) Persoonlijke veiligheid

a) Blijf alert en gebruik uw gezonde verstand wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap bedient. Gebruik

het elektrisch gereedschap niet wanneer u vermoeid bent of onder invloed van drugs, alcohol of

medicijnen. Onoplettendheid tijdens het bedienen van elektrisch gereedschap kan leiden tot ernstig

letsel.

b) Maak gebruik van persoonlijke bescherming. Draag altijd een veiligheidsbril. Passende bescherming

voor de omstandigheden, zoals een stofmasker, niet-slippende veiligheidsschoenen een helm of

gehoorbescherming, vermindert het risico op persoonlijk letsel.

c) Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet per ongeluk wordt gestart. Controleer of de schakelaar in de ‘uit’

stand staat voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt. Het dragen van elektrisch gereedschap

met uw vinger op de schakelaar of het aansluiten op de stroom van elektrisch gereedschap met de

schakelaar ingeschakeld kan tot ongelukken leiden.

d) Verwijder alle stel- of moersleutels voordat u het elektrische gereedschap inschakelt. Een moer- of

stelsleutel die zich op een draaiend onderdeel van het elektrische gereedschap bevindt, kan leiden tot

letsel.

e) Reik niet te ver. Blijf altijd stevig en in balans staan. Zo houdt u meer controle over het elektrische

gereedschap in onverwachte situaties.

f) Draag geschikte kleding. Draag geen loshangende kleding of sieraden. Houd haren, kleding en

handschoenen uit de buurt van bewegende delen. Loshangende kleding, sieraden en los hangende

haren kunnen vast komen te zitten in bewegende delen.

g) Als er onderdelen voor stofafvoer- en stofverzameling worden meegeleverd, sluit deze dan aan

en gebruik deze op de juiste wijze. Het gebruik van deze onderdelen kan het risico op stofgerelateerde

ongelukken verminderen.

4) Gebruik en verzorging van elektrisch gereedschap

a) Forceer elektrisch gereedschap niet. Gebruik elektrisch gereedschap dat geschikt is voor het

werk dat u wilt uitvoeren. Geschikt elektrisch gereedschap werkt beter en veiliger op een passende

snelheid.

b) Gebruik het elektrische gereedschap niet als de schakelaar het apparaat niet in- en uitschakelt.

Elektrisch gereedschap dat niet bediend kan worden met de schakelaar is gevaarlijk en moet

gerepareerd worden.

c) Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u instellingen aanpast, toebehoren verwisselt of het

elektrische gereedschap opbergt. Dergelijke voorzorgsmaatregelen verminderen het risico op het per

ongeluk starten van het elektrische gereedschap.

d) Berg elektrisch gereedschap dat niet in gebruik is op buiten bereik van kinderen en laat mensen

die niet bekend zijn met het elektrische gereedschap of met deze instructies het elektrische

gereedschap niet bedienen. Elektrisch gereedschap is gevaarlijk in de handen van onervaren

gebruikers.

e) Onderhoud uw elektrisch gereedschap. Controleer op foutieve uitlijning of het vastslaan van

bewegende delen, gebroken onderdelen en elke andere afwijking die de werking van het

elektrische gereedschap zou kunnen beïnvloeden. Indien het elektrische gereedschap beschadigd

is, moet u het laten repareren voordat u het weer gebruikt. Veel ongelukken worden veroorzaakt door

slecht onderhouden elektrisch gereedschap.

f) Houd snijwerktuigen scherp en schoon. Goed onderhouden snijwerktuigen met scherpe messen slaan

minder snel vast en zijn gemakkelijker te bedienen.

g) Gebruik het elektrische gereedschap, toebehoren en onderdelen, etc. volgens deze instructies en

volgens bestemming voor het speciﬁeke type elektrisch gereedschap, en houd daarbij rekening

met de werkomstandigheden en het uit te voeren werk. Gebruik van elektrisch gereedschap voor

werkzaamheden die verschillen van die waarvoor het apparaat bestemd is, kan leiden tot gevaarlijke

situaties.

5) Accu machine gebruik en onderhoud

a) Laad de accu enkel met de door de fabrikant gespeciﬁceerde accu op. Het gebruik van een accu,

geschikt voor één accusoort, voor een andere accusoort resulteert mogelijk in brand

b) Gebruik accu machines enkel met speciﬁek bedoelde accu’s. Het gebruik van andere accu’s

resulteert mogelijk in persoonlijk letsel en brand

c) Wanneer een accu niet gebruik is, houdt u deze uit de buurt van metalen voorwerpen als

paperclips, munten, spijkers, schroeven, etc. Het kortsluiten van een accu resulteert mogelijk

in brand Wanneer accuvloeistoffen in uw ogen terecht komt, zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp.

Accuvloeistoffen veroorzaken mogelijk irritatie en brandend gevoel

d) Misbruik van de accu resulteert mogelijk in vloeistof uitstoot. Voorkom contact. Spoel, wanneer

contact plaatsgevonden heeft, onmiddellijk met water. Wanneer de vloeistof in uw ogen terecht komt

zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp. Accuvloeistoffen veroorzaken mogelijk irritatie en brandend gevoel

6) Onderhoud

a) Laat uw elektrische gereedschap onderhouden door een gekwaliﬁceerde vakman en gebruik

alleen identieke vervangstukken. Zo bent u er zeker van dat de veiligheid van het elektrische

gereedschap gewaarborgd blijft.

Veiligheid accuschroefmachines

Belangrijk: Het is noodzakelijk alle nationale veiligheidsregels met betrekking tot installatie,

gebruik en onderhoud op te volgen

a) Houdt de machine te allen tijde bij de geïsoleerde handvaten vast. Wanneer de machine/accessoires

tijdens gebruik in aanraking komen met stroomdraad, komen de metalen onderdelen onder stroom te

staan wat mogelijk leidt tot elektrische schok.

b) Laat personen jonger dan 18 jaar de boorhamer niet gebruiken. Tevens horen alle gebruikers met

de gebruik- en veiligheidsinstructies bekend te zijn

c) Houdt de machine te allen tijde stevig vast, reik niet t ever en voorkom controleverlies. Zorg er bij

het gebruik van een boorhamer voor dat u te allen tijde stevig en in evenwicht staat

d) Opladers zijn enkel geschikt voor binnen gebruik. Zorg ervoor dat de stroombron en oplader te allen

tijde beschermt zijn tegen vocht

e) Bij het gebruik van de boorhamer is de volgende veiligheidsuitrusting verplicht: veiligheidsbril,

gehoorbescherming en handschoenen. Wanneer het boren stof produceert draagt u een stofmasker.

Een minimale waardering van FFP2 is aanbevolen. Wanneer het gebruik van de machine op enige wijze

voor ongemak zorgt, stopt u het werk onmiddellijk.

f) Zorg voor een goede verlichting

g) Zorg ervoor dat het bit/accessoire stevig in de boorhouder vast zit. Losse bits kunnen losschieten en

ongelukken veroorzaken

h) Oefen geen druk op de boorhamer uit waar dit de levensduur verslechterd

i) Wanneer u tijdens het gebruik van de boorhamer gestoord wordt, maakt u het werk af en schakelt

u de machine uit voordat u opkijkt

j) Maak wanneer mogelijk gebruik van klemmen of bankschroeven voor het klemmen van het

werkstuk

k) Controleer de boorhouder regelmatig op tekenen van slijtage en/of schade. Beschadigde onderdelen

horen door een gekwaliﬁceerd persoon vervangen te worden

l) Wacht met het neerleggen van de boor totdat deze volledig tot stilstand is gekomen

m) Controleer bouten, moeren en andere bevestigingsmiddelen regelmatig en draai deze wanneer

nodig vast

n) Maak enkel gebruik van bits/accessores, special ontworpen voor het gebruik met boorhamers.

Conventionele bits en accessoresraken mogelijk beschadigd waardoor deeltjes mogelijk gevaarlijk

worden afgevuurd

o) Zorg ervoor dat bevestigingsmiddelen geschikt zijn voor het gebruik met boorhamers. Bouten,

moeren en schroeven die niet geschikt zijn voor doeleinden met een hoge koppel raken mogelijk

beschadigd

Acculader veiligheid

Juist gebruik van de oplader

• Raadpleeg het deel in deze handleiding wat betrekking heeft op het gebruik van de oplader, voor het

opladen van de accu.

• Gebruik de oplader niet in combinatie met een accu, anders dan die verstrekt bij de machine. Houd

de oplader schoon; stof en/of vuil kan leiden tot kortsluiting en een geblokkeerde ventilatie wat kan

resulteren in oververhitting en/of brand

• Wanneer het stroomsnoer beschadigt is, laat u deze door de fabrikant vervangen om gevaren te

voorkomen

• Controleer de oplader regelmatig op schade, vooral het stroomsnoer en de stekker. Gebruik een

beschadigde oplader niet totdat deze gerepareerd is

• Kinderen mogen niet met de oplader spelen

Waarschuwing: Herlaad geen niet-oplaadbare accu’s

Accu en oplader veiligheidskenmerken

De accu en de oplader zijn voorzien van een aantal veiligheidskenmerken welke tijdens opladen of gebruik

getriggerd kunnen worden

• Overlading bescherming: De oplader schakelt automatisch uit wanneer de accu volledig is opgeladen om

zo de interne delen van de accu te beschermen tegen beschadigen

• Ontlading bescherming: Beschermt de accu tegen ontlading verder dan het aangeraden laagste

spanningspunt

• Oververhittingsbescherming: Een ingebouwde sensor schakelt de machine uit wanneer de accu te heet

wordt. Dit kan gebeuren wanneer de belasting te groot is en wanneer de machine voor langere periode

gebruikt wordt. Afhankelijk van de temperatuur heeft de accu mogelijk een koelperiode van 30 minuten

nodig.

• Overbelasting bescherming: De accu stopt tijdelijk wanneer deze wordt overbelast of wanneer de

maximale spanning wordt overschreden om zo de interne onderdelen te beschermen tegen beschadiging.

De accu zal de werking hervatten wanneer de spanning terug op een veilig niveau komt. Dit duurt

mogelijk een aantal seconden.

• Kortsluiting bescherming: De accu stopt onmiddellijk wanneer kortsluiting plaats vindt. Dit voorkomt

beschadiging aan de accu en de machine.

Juist gebruik van de accu

• Laad de accu alleen op met de oplader verstrekt bij de machine. Gebruik enkel de bijgeleverde accu, of

accu’s aangeraden door de leverancier. Houd uw accu schoon; stof en/of vuil kan leiden tot kortsluiting.

Laat de accu, na het opladen of na lang gebruik, 15 minuten afkoelen. Het falen van het opvolgen van

deze instructies kan leiden tot oververhitting en/of brand.

WAARSCHUWING: Li-ion batterijen, wanneer onjuist gebruikt, opgeborgen of opgeladen, zijn een brand-

en explosiegevaar

• Houdt de accu uit de buurt van kinderen

• Laad Li-ion accu’s enkel op met de oplader, inbegrepen bij het product of speciaal ontworpen voor uw

product

• Gebruik enkel Li-ion accu’s inbegrepen bij uw product of speciaal ontworpen voor compatibiliteit

• Laat accu’s na het opladen of na zwaar gebruik 15 minuten afkoelen om oververhitting en brand te

voorkomen

• Wanneer niet in gebruik dienen accu’s op kamertemperatuur (ongeveer 20°C) opgeborgen te worden

• Zorg ervoor dat de accu, wanneer opgeborgen, geen kortsluiting kan veroorzaken. Houdt accu’s schoon;

vreemde voorwerpen kunnen kortsluiting veroorzaken. Houdt accu’s uit de buurt van metalen voorwerpen

als paperclips, muntjes, sleutels, etc.

• Bij verkeerd gebruik kan vloeistof uit de accu lekken. De vloeistof veroorzaakt mogelijk huidirritatie

brandwonden. Wanneer de vloeistof in contact komt met de huid spoelt u uw huid onmiddellijk met water.

Wanneer de vloeistof in de ogen terecht komt zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp

• Open, demonteer, breek, verwarm (boven 60°C) en verbrand accu’s niet. Gooi accu’s niet in het vuur

Het uitpakken van uw gereedschap

• Pak uw toestel / gereedschap uit. Inspecteer het en zorg dat u met alle kenmerken en functies vertrouwd

raakt

• Controleer of alle onderdelen aanwezig zijn en in goede staat verkeren. Als er onderdelen ontbreken of

beschadigd zijn, zorg dan dat deze vervangen worden voor u dit toestel / gereedschap gebruikt

Voor gebruik

Het ontkoppelen van de accu

• Om de accu (9) te ontkoppelen drukt u de verlosschakels (10) aan beide zijden van de machine in en

schuif de accu van het handvat (7)

Let op: Probeer de accu niet te ontkoppelen zonder het indrukken van de verlosschakels. De accu en de

machine raken zo mogelijk beschadigd

Het aansluiten van een opgeladen accu

1. Schuif de opgeladen accu in de gleuf aan de onderzijde van het handvat (7) tot deze in positie klikt

Let op: Zorg ervoor dat de machine en de accu juist zijn uitgelijnd. De accu dient gemakkelijk in de machine

te schuiven. Forceer de accu niet. Wanneer de accu niet soepel in de machine schuift, controleert u de accu,

Het opzetten van de oplader

1. Ontkoppel de accu (9) (wanneer aangesloten) van de oplader (12)

Let op: Het groene LED lampje (13) van de oplader brand wanneer de oplader klaar is voor het opladen van

de accu

accu’s, speciﬁek ontworpen voor de machine

WAARSCHUWING: De oplader is enkel geschikt voor binnen gebruik en dient niet in vochtige omstandigheden

gebruikt te worden

Het opladen van de accu

WAARSCHUWING: Wanneer de instructies niet opgevolgd worden raakt de accu mogelijk permanent

beschadigd

Let op: De normale laadtijd bedraagt ongeveer een uur, voor een recent ontladen 4,0 Ah accu. Wanneer de

accu (9) voor langere tijd ontladen is, bedraagt de laadtijd mogelijk 1,5 uur

1. Schuif de ontladen/gedeeltelijk ontladen accu op de oplader (12)

Let op: Zorg ervoor dat de accu en de oplader juist zijn uitgelijnd. De accu dient gemakkelijk in de oplader te

schuiven. Forceer de accu niet. Wanneer de accu niet soepel op de oplader schuift, controleert u de accu, de

oplader gleuven en de contactpunten voordat u het opnieuw probeert

2. Wanneer het opladen start brandt het rode LED lampje (14)

3. Wanneer de accu volledig is opgeladen brand enkel het groene LED lampje

Accu laadniveau: De accu is voorzien van een laadniveau indicator (8) (Fig. I). Druk de knop aan de rechter

zijde in om het laadniveau weer te geven. Het rechter LED duidt op een hoog laadniveau en het linker LED

duidt op een laag laadniveau

BELANGRIJK: Wanneer de machine een laag laadniveau aangeeft, stopt de machine mogelijk tijdens gebruik.

In sommige gevallen is dit gevaarlijk. Het is aanbevolen de accu te gebruiken met een redelijk laadniveau

Opmerkingen betreft het opladen van de accu:

• De accu (9) dient bij een omgevingstemperatuur tussen de 10 en 40°C (dicht bij 20°C is ideaal) opgeladen

te worden

• Na het opladen vereist de accu een afkoelperiode van 15 minuten

• Zorg ervoor dat de oplader (12) na het opladen van de stroombron wordt ontkoppeld en juist wordt

opgeborgen

• Laad accu’s NOOIT voor langere periodes op en berg accu’s NOOIT op wanneer deze worden opgeladen

• De oplader houdt de temperatuur en spanning van de accu constant in de gaten. Ontkoppel de accu

wanneer deze volledig is opgeladen, om de laadcyclussen te optimaliseren en het verspillen van energie

te voorkomen

• Accu’s kunnen na verloop van tijd stuk raken, individuele cellen breken wat leidt tot kortsluiting in de

accu. De oplader laadt zulke accu’s niet op. Gebruik de andere accu om de werking van de oplader te

controleren en schaf een nieuwe accu aan

• Li-ion accu’s mogen niet voor langere tijd ontladen opgeborgen worden. Dit beschadigt de Li-ion

accucellen mogelijk. Accu’s dienen volledig opgeladen (ontkoppeld van de oplader) te zijn wanneer deze

voor langere tijd opgeborgen worden

• De capaciteit van accu’s wordt na verloop van tijd lager. Na 100 laadcyclussen zullen de gebruiksduur

en de maximale koppel van de boormachine lichtelijk verkorten/verlagen. Na 500 laadcyclussen is de

minimale capaciteit van de accu bereikt. Dit is normaal en duidt niet op een foutieve accu

Het bevestigen van een schroefbit

WAARSCHUWING: Bevestig GEEN bits met een maximale snelheid, lager dan de onbelaste snelheid van de

machine

1. Trek de kraag (2) van de bithouder (1) naar voren en plaats het bit in de bithouder

3. Trek aan het bit om te controleren of het goed vast zit.Als het bit niet goed vast zit, herhaalt u

bovenstaande stappen

Gebruik

Rotatierichting controle

WAARSCHUWING: Verander de schakelaar niet van positie wanneer de machine is ingeschakeld. Dit kan de

machine permanent beschadigen

• De rotatierichting kan met behulp van de rotatierichting schakelaar (5) veranderd worden

• Voor een rotatierichting linksom, duwt u de schakelaar naar rechts

• Voor een rotatierichting rechtsom, duwt u de schakelaar naar links

Let op: Wanneer de schakelaar in het midden staat is de machine vergrendeld en kan deze niet ingeschakeld

worden. Gebruik de middenstand als een veiligheidsfunctie om het accidenteel inschakelen van de machine

te voorkomen

Het in- en uitschakelen van de machine

WAARSCHUWING: Bij het gebruik van de machine is het dragen van de geschikte beschermende uitrusting

aanbevolen

1. Om de machine te starten knijpt u de trekker schakelaar (6) in

overbelastingbeveiliging, waardoor de machine mogelijk voor enige tijd niet ingeschakeld kan worden. Het

onbelast inschakelen van de machine zorgt mogelijk voor een snellere afkoeling. De motor ventilatiegaten (4)

mogen niet geblokkeerd of verstopt zijn en voorkom ingang van stof in de ventilatiegaten. Stoﬁngang, vooral

metaalstof, kan de machine beschadigen

Onderhoud

Schoonmaak

• Houd uw machine te allen tijde schoon. Vuil en stof kunnen de interne onderdelen snel doen slijten en

zo de levensduur van de machine verminderen. Maak de behuizing van de machine met een zachte

borstel of een droge doek schoon. Blaas wanneer mogelijk droge perslucht door de ventilatiegaten van

de machine.

Opberging

• Berg de machine en accessoires op een droge en veilige plaats, buiten het bereik van kinderen op

Bij de verwijdering van elektrische machines neemt u de nationale voorschriften in acht.

à l’utilisation d’appareils électriques

supervisés ou qu’une personne responsable de leur sécurité leur donne des instructions concernant

1. Sécurité sur la zone de travail

a. Maintenir une zone de travail propre et bien éclairée. Des zones encombrées et mal éclairées sont

sources d’accidents.

b. Ne pas utiliser d’outils électriques dans des environnements explosifs, tels qu’à proximité de

liquides, de gaz ou de poussières inﬂammables. Les outils électriques produisent des étincelles

susceptibles d’enﬂammer la poussière ou les vapeurs présentes.

c. Éloigner les enfants et toute personne se trouvant à proximité pendant l’utilisation d’un outil

électrique. Ceux-ci pourraient vous distraire et vous faire perdre la maîtrise de l’appareil.

2. Sécurité électrique

a. Les prises des outils électriques doivent correspondre aux prises du secteur. Ne modiﬁez jamais

la prise en aucune façon. N’utilisez jamais d’adaptateur avec les outils électriques mis à la terre.

Des prises non modiﬁées, adaptées aux boîtiers de prise de courant, réduiront les risques de décharge

électrique.

b. Éviter le contact corporel avec les surfaces mises à la terre telles que tuyaux, radiateurs,

cuisinières et réfrigérateurs. Le risque de décharge électrique est plus important si votre corps est mis

à la terre.

c. Ne pas exposer votre outil électrique à la pluie ou à l’humidité. L’inﬁltration d’eau dans un outil

électrique augmentera le risque de décharge électrique.

d. Ne pas maltraiter le cordon électrique. N’utilisez jamais le cordon électrique pour porter, tirer ou

débrancher l’outil électrique. Conservez le cordon électrique à l’écart de la chaleur, de l’essence,

de bords tranchants ou de pièces en mouvement. Un cordon électrique endommagé ou entortillé

accroît le risque de décharge électrique.

e. Au cas où l’outil électroportatif serait utilisé à l’extérieur, servez-vous d’une rallonge appropriée à

une utilisation en extérieur. Cela réduit le risque de décharge électrique.

f. Si une utilisation de l’outil dans un environnement humide ne peut être évitée, utilisez une

alimentation protégée par un disjoncteur différentiel. L’utilisation d’un disjoncteur différentiel réduit le

risque de décharge électrique.

3. Sécurité des personnes

a. Rester vigilant et faire preuve de sens lors de la manipulation de l’outil. Ne pas utiliser d’outil

électrique en état de fatigue ou sous l’inﬂuence de drogues, d’alcool ou de médicaments. Un

moment d’inattention pendant l’utilisation d’un outil électrique peut se traduire par des blessures graves.

b. Porter des équipements de protection. Porter toujours des lunettes de protection. Le port

d’équipements de protection tels que des masques à poussières, des chaussures de sécurité

antidérapantes, un casque de sécurité ou des protections antibruit, selon le travail à effectuer, réduira le

risque de blessures aux personnes.

c. Éviter tout démarrage accidentel. S’assurer que l’interrupteur marche-arrêt soit en position

d’arrêt (Off) avant de brancher l’outil sur l’alimentation secteur. Porter un outil électrique tout en

maintenant le doigt posé sur l’interrupteur ou brancher un outil électrique dont l’interrupteur est sur la

position de marche (On) est source d’accidents.

d. Enlever toute clé ou tout instrument de réglage avant de mettre l’outil électrique en marche. Une

clé ou un instrument de réglage laissé ﬁxé à un élément en rotation de l’outil électrique peut entraîner

des blessures physiques.

e. Ne pas essayer d’atteindre une zone hors de portée. Se tenir toujours en position stable et conserver

l’équilibre. Cela permet de mieux contrôler l’outil électrique dans des situations inattendues.

f. Porter des vêtements appropriés. Ne pas porter de vêtements amples ou des bijoux pendants.

Les vêtements amples, les bijoux pendants ou les cheveux longs peuvent être happés par les pièces en

mouvement.

g. Si l’outil est pourvu de dispositifs destinés au raccord d’équipements d’extraction et de

récupération de la poussière/sciure, s’assurer qu’ils soient bien ﬁxés et utilisés correctement.

L’utilisation de ces dispositifs peut réduire les risques dus à la poussière.

4. Utilisation et entretien des outils électriques

a. Ne pas surcharger l’outil électrique. Utiliser l’outil électrique approprié au travail à effectuer. Un

outil électrique adapté et employé au rythme pour lequel il a été conçu permettra de réaliser un travail de

meilleure qualité et dans de meilleures conditions de sécurité.

b. Ne pas utiliser un outil électrique dont l’interrupteur marche-arrêt est hors service. Tout outil

électrique dont la commande ne s’effectue plus par l’interrupteur marche-arrêt est dangereux et doit être

réparé.

c. Débrancher l’outil électrique avant d’effectuer tout réglage, changement d’accessoire ou avant de

le ranger. De telles mesures préventives réduiront les risques de démarrage accidentel.

d. Ranger les outils électriques inutilisés hors de portée des enfants et ne pas permettre l’utilisation

de ces outils aux personnes novices ou n’ayant pas connaissance de ces instructions. Les outils

électriques sont dangereux dans les mains d’utilisateurs inexpérimentés.

e. Veiller à l’entretien des outils électriques. Vériﬁer que les éléments rotatifs soient bien alignés et

non grippés. S’assurer de l’absence de pièces cassées ou endommagées susceptibles de nuire

au bon fonctionnement de l'outil. Si l’outil électrique est endommagé, le faire réparer avant toute

utilisation. De nombreux accidents sont causés par l’utilisation d’outils électriques mal entretenus.

f. Garder les outils de coupe affûtés et propres. Des outils de coupe bien entretenus, aux tranchants

bien affûtés, sont moins susceptibles de se gripper et sont plus faciles à contrôler.

g. Utiliser l’outil électrique, les accessoires et les outils à monter, etc., conformément à ces

instructions et selon l’utilisation prévue pour le type d’outil donné, en tenant compte des

conditions de travail et de la tâche à réaliser. Toute utilisation de cet outil électrique autre que celle

pour laquelle il a été conçu peut entraîner des situations à risque et entraînerait une annulation de sa

garantie.

5. Entretien et utilisation des outils électroportatifs

a. Ne rechargez qu’à l’aide du chargeur indiqué par le fabricant. Un chargeur fonctionnant avec un type

de batterie peut ne pas fonctionner avec un autre et engendrer un risque d’incendie.

b. N’utilisez que les batteries spécialement conçues pour l’outil. Utilisez un autre type de batterie peut

engendrer un risque de blessure et d’incendie.

c. Lorsque la batterie n’est pas utilisée, conservez-la à distance des objets métalliques comme les

trombones, pièces de monnaie, clés, clous, vis et tous les autres petits objets métalliques qui

pourraient entraîner une connexion entre les bornes de la batterie. Court-circuiter les terminaux

d’une batterie peut causer des brûlures et un incendie.

d) Dans des conditions abusives, du liquide peut être éjecté des batteries ; évitez le contact. En cas

de contact, rincez à l’eau. Si du liquide rentre en contact avec les yeux, demandez conseil à un

médecin. Le liquide éjecté des batteries peut causer des irritations et des brûlures.

6. Entretien

a. Ne faire réparer l’outil électrique que par un réparateur qualiﬁé utilisant uniquement des pièces

de rechange identiques. Cela permettra d’assurer la sécurité continue de cet outil électrique.

a) Tenez TOUJOURS l’outil par ses surfaces de préhension isolées. Les utilisations lors desquelles

l’outil, les accessoires montés ou les attaches pourraient entrer en contact avec des câbles ‘sous tension’

e) L’utilisation d’une visseuse à choc demande le port d’équipements de sécurité tels que lunettes

ou visière de sécurité, casque anti-bruit et habillement protecteur tel que gants de sécurité. Si le

travail produit de la poussière, portez un masque protecteur adapté à la tâche. Un indice minimal FFP2

est recommandé. Si l’utilisation de cet outil vous cause une gêne quelconque, arrêtez immédiatement et

revoyez votre méthode d’utilisation.

f) Assurez-vous de disposer d’un éclairage sufﬁsant.

g) Assurez-vous que les embouts ou accessoires de la visseuse à choc soient bien ﬁxés dans le

mandrin. Les accessoires mal insérés peuvent être éjectés de la machine et représentent un danger.

h) N’exercez PAS de pression sur l’appareil car cela réduirait sa durée de vie utile.

i) Si l’on vous interrompt pendant que vous vous servez de la visseuse à choc, terminez l’opération

et éteignez l’appareil avant de vous concentrer sur l’évènement.

j) Dans la mesure du possible, et s’il y a lieu, immobilisez bien la pièce de travail.

k) Examinez le mandrin régulièrement à la recherche de tout signe d’usure ou de dommage. Faites

réparer les pièces endommagées par un centre de réparation homologué.

l) Attendez TOUJOURS que la machine soit parvenue à un arrêt complet avant de la déposer.

m) Vériﬁez régulièrement que les écrous, boulons et autres dispositifs de ﬁxation soient bien serrés.

n) Servez-vous uniquement d’embouts et d’accessoires conçus spéciﬁquement pour utilisation avec

visseuse à choc. Les embouts et accessoires conventionnels peuvent se briser durant l’utilisation, ou

être endommagés d’une autre manière, risquant d’éjecter des projectiles dangereux.

o) Assurez-vous que les dispositifs de ﬁxation soient adaptés à une utilisation avec une visseuse à

choc. Les écrous, les boulons et les vis qui ne sont pas adaptés à une utilisation à fort couple peuvent

être endommagés.

Consignes de sécurité relatives aux bat-

teries et aux chargeurs

Utilisation correcte du chargeur de batterie

• Consultez la section du présent manuel traitant de l’utilisation du chargeur de batterie avant de

commencer à charger la batterie.

• N’utilisez pas le chargeur pour d’autres batteries que celles fournies. Maintenez le chargeur propre car les

objets étrangers et la saleté peuvent entraîner un court-circuit ou boucher les oriﬁces de ventilation. Le

non-respect de ces consignes peut amener l’appareil à surchauffer ou à prendre feu.

• Si le cordon électrique est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un centre de réparation agréé aﬁn

d’éviter tout risque.

• Vériﬁez l’état du chargeur régulièrement, en particulier au niveau du cordon d’alimentation, de la prise et

du boîtier. Si le chargeur est endommagé, ne l’utilisez pas tant qu’il n’a pas été réparé.

• Veillez à ce que les enfants ne jouent pas avec le chargeur.

AVERTISSEMENT : N’essayez PAS de recharger une batterie non rechargeable.

Dispositifs de sécurité de la batterie et du chargeur

La batterie et le chargeur sont équipés d’un certain nombre de dispositifs de sécurité qui peuvent se mettre

en marche lors de la recharge ou pendant l’utilisation :

• Protection contre la surcharge : le chargeur s’arrête automatiquement lorsque la batterie a atteint sa

capacité de charge maximale aﬁn de protéger les composants internes.

• Protection contre la sur-décharge : évite à la batterie d’être déchargée au-delà de la tension minimale

recommandée.

• Protection contre la surchauffe : des capteurs arrêtent la batterie lorsque celle-ci surchauffe. Cela arrive

lorsque le moteur de l’outil est surchargé ou en cas d’utilisation prolongée. En fonction de la température

ambiante, l’outil devra refroidir 30 minutes avant d’en reprendre l’utilisation.

• Protection contre la surcharge : la batterie s’arrête temporairement si elle est surchargée ou en cas de

dépassement de l’intensité maximale absorbée. La batterie reprendra ses opérations normales lorsque

l’intensité absorbée sera revenue au niveau approprié. Cette opération peut prendre quelques secondes.

• Protection contre les courts-circuits : la batterie s’arrêtera immédiatement lors d’un court-circuit, cela

évite d’endommager la batterie ou l’outil.

Utilisation correcte des batteries

Veuillez ne charger les batteries de l’appareil qu’à l’aide du chargeur fourni. N’utilisez avec cet appareil que

les batteries fournies ou des batteries recommandées par votre fournisseur. Maintenez les batteries propres

car les objets étrangers et la saleté peuvent entraîner un court-circuit. Laissez la batterie refroidir 15 minutes

après toute recharge ou utilisation prolongée. Le non-respect de ces consignes peut amener l’appareil à

surchauffer ou à prendre feu.

ATTENTION : Les batteries Li-Ion, si utilisées, rangées ou chargées incorrectement, représentent un

risque d’incendie, de brulure et d’explosion.

• Gardez les batteries hors de portée des enfants.

• Rechargez les batteries Li-Ion UNIQUEMENT avec le chargeur fourni avec ou conçu spéciﬁquement pour

votre produit.

• Utilisez UNIQUEMENT les batteries Li-Ion fournies avec le produit ou conçues spéciﬁquement pour être

compatibles.

• Laissez les batteries refroidir 15 minutes après toute recharge ou utilisation prolongée. Le non-respect de

ces consignes peut amener l’appareil à surchauffer ou à prendre feu.

• Lorsqu’elles ne sont pas utilisées, les batteries doivent être rangées dans un endroit sec proche de la

température ambiante (20 ˚C).

• Assurez-vous que les batteries ne peuvent pas se court-circuiter accidentellement pendant la période de

rangement. Gardez les batteries propres ; les corps étrangers ou la saleté peuvent causer un court-circuit,

gardez loin de tout objet métallique, par exemple trombones, pièces, clés, clous et vis.

• En cas d’usage abusif, du liquide peut s’échapper des batteries. Ce liquide peut causer des irritations de

la peau, évitez le contact. En cas de contact accidentel, lavez à grande eau. Si du liquide entre en contact

avec vos yeux, sollicitez une aide médicale.

• N’ouvrez PAS, ne désassemblez pas, n’écrasez pas, ne chauffez pas à plus de 60°C et ne brulez pas. Ne

jetez pas les batteries au feu.

Usage conforme

Visseuse à chocs sans ﬁl alimentée par batterie pour usage général, indiquée pour réaliser des tâches

d’intensité légère à moyenne de vissage de vis, écrous et boulons.

Déballage

• Déballez le produit avec soin. Veillez à retirer tout le matériau d’emballage et familiarisez-vous avec toutes

les caractéristiques du produit.

• Si des pièces sont endommagées ou manquantes, faites-les réparer ou remplacer avant d’utiliser

l’appareil.

Avant utilisation

Retirer la batterie

• Pour enlever la batterie (9), appuyez sur le point de dégagement de la batterie (10), puis faites glisser la

batterie hors de la poignée (7).

ATTENTION : N’essayez PAS d’enlever la batterie sans appuyer sur le point de dégagement de la batterie. Ceci

pourrait endommager la machine ou la batterie.

Insérer la batterie

1. Pour insérer la batterie, faites la glisser sur la poignée (7) de la visseuse jusqu’à entendre le clic

indiquant que la batterie est bien en place.

Remarque : Assurez-vous que la batterie et la visseuse sont alignées correctement. Si la batterie ne glisse

pas sans difﬁcultés dans la visseuse, ne forcez pas. Retirez plutôt la batterie et vériﬁez que la partie haute de

la batterie et l’emplacement de la batterie dans la poignée sont propres et sans dommages et que les ﬁches

de contact ne soient pas repliées.

Emploi du chargeur de batterie

1. Retirez, le cas échéant, la batterie (9) du chargeur de batterie (12).

2. Branchez le chargeur de batterie à une prise murale adaptée.

Remarque : le voyant LED vert (13) du chargeur de batterie se mettra à clignoter, indiquant que le chargeur

est en état de charger la batterie.

AVERTISSEMENT : Ce chargeur ne doit servir à charger QUE la batterie fournie ou des batteries

supplémentaires spéciﬁquement indiquées comme compatibles avec cet appareil.

AVERTISSEMENT : Le chargeur n’est conçu que pour un usage en intérieur et NE DOIT PAS être utilisé dans

des conditions d’humidité.

Charge de la batterie

AVERTISSEMENT : Le non-respect des procédures de charge indiquées entraînera une détérioration

irrémédiable.

Remarque : Le temps de charge normal est d’environ 80 minutes pour une batterie de 4 Ah récemment

déchargée. Toutefois, si la batterie (9) est restée déchargée pendant un certain temps, le temps de charge

pourra demander jusqu’à 2 heures.

1. Installez une batterie totalement ou partiellement déchargée sur le chargeur de batterie (12) en la faisant

coulisser.

Remarque : Veillez à ce que la batterie et le chargeur de batterie coïncident bien. Si la batterie ne coulisse

pas bien sur le chargeur de batterie, ne la forcez pas. Retirez-la, vériﬁez que le haut de la batterie et que le

logement du chargeur de batterie sont propres et non abimés et que les contacts ne sont pas tordus.

2. Une fois que le chargement commence, le voyant rouge (14) s’allume.

3. Une fois la batterie totalement chargée, le voyant vert s’allume.

Niveau de charge de batterie : La batterie possède un indicateur du niveau de charge (8) intégré (Fig. I). Pour

connaitre le niveau de charge de la batterie, appuyez sur le bouton situé sur sa droite. Le voyant LED de droite

indique un niveau de charge élevé et le voyant LED de gauche indique un niveau de charge bas, auquel cas la

batterie devra subir une charge plus longue.

IMPORTANT : Si le niveau de charge est bas, l’appareil pourra s’arrêter en cours d’utilisation, ce qui est très

dangereux dans le cas d’une scie circulaire. Veillez toujours que la batterie dispose d’un bon niveau de charge.

Remarques relatives à la charge de la batterie :

• La batterie doit être chargée à température ambiante entre 10 et 40 °C (dans l’idéal, autour de 20 °C).

• Après la charge, laisser la batterie refroidir 15 minutes avant de l’employer.

• Veiller à bien débrancher le chargeur (12) après utilisation et à bien le ranger.

• NE PAS laisser les batteries dans le chargeur pendant de longues périodes de temps et ne JAMAIS

remiser les batteries dans leur chargeur.

• Le chargeur de batterie surveille la température et la tension de la batterie en cours de charge. Retirez

la batterie une fois la charge terminée aﬁn d’optimiser les cycles de charge de la batterie et de ne pas

gaspiller l’énergie.

• Les batteries peuvent présenter des dysfonctionnements avec le temps, des cellules internes à la batterie

peuvent se détériorer et la batterie peut court-circuiter. Le chargeur ne pourra pas charger une batterie

défectueuse. Si possible, testez le bon fonctionnement du chargeur à l’aide d’une autre batterie et, au

besoin, procurez-vous une batterie de rechange si la batterie fournie est défectueuse.

• NE laissez PAS une batterie lithium-ion déchargée pendant trop longtemps car cela peut endommager les

cellules lithium-ion. Si la batterie doit rester inutilisée pendant une longue période de temps, la remiser

une fois pleinement chargée, déconnectée de tout appareil.

• La capacité des batteries diminue avec le temps. Après 100 cycles de charge, la durée de fonctionnement

de la batterie et les performances de couple maximal diminueront. Ce déclin continuera jusqu’à atteindre

la capacité minimale de la batterie après 500 cycles de charge. Cela est normal et ne constitue pas un

dysfonctionnement de la batterie.

Fixer un embout de vissage

Attention : Ne ﬁxez jamais des accessoires ayant une vitesse maximale inférieure à la vitesse à vide de

l’appareil.

1. Tirez la bague (2) du porte-embout à culot hexagonal (1) vers l’avant et insérez l’embout.

2. Relâchez la bague.

3. Tirez sur l’embout pour s’assurer qu’il soit correctement maintenu. S’il n’est pas bien ﬁxé, recommencez

l’opération.

Remarque : Assurez-vous que les embouts de vissage sont appropriés à l’utilisation d’une visseuse à chocs.

Instructions d’utilisation

Choisir le sens de rotation

ATTENTION : NE changez JAMAIS le sens de rotation lorsque l’outil est en marche. Cela pourrait

endommager l’appareil de manière irréversible.

• Le sens de rotation peut être sélectionné grâce au bouton d’inversion du sens de rotation (5).

• Pour une rotation dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, poussez le sélecteur vers la gauche.

• Pour une rotation dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre, poussez le sélecteur vers la droite.

Remarque : Lorsque le bouton d’inversion du sens de rotation (5) est placé au centre, la machine est

bloquée et ne peut pas être mise en marche. Utilisez cette fonction de sécurité pour éviter les démarrages

accidentels de la machine.

Mettre en marche/arrêt

ATTENTION : Portez TOUJOURS un équipement personnel de protection approprié lors des réglages et de

l’utilisation de cet appareil.

1. Pour démarrer la visseuse, appuyez sur la gâchette (6).

2. Le guide de perçage lumière LED (15) s’allumera automatiquement lorsque l’on appuie sur la gâchette.

Remarque : Si vous ne pouvez pas appuyer sur la gâchette, vériﬁez que le bouton d’inversion du sens de

rotation ne soit pas dans la position du milieu, car cela bloque la visseuse (voir ‘choisir le sens de rotation’).

3. La vitesse de la visseuse à chocs est contrôlée par la gâchette : plus vous appuyez dessus, plus la vitesse

est importante.

4. Relâchez la gâchette pour arrêter la visseuse.

ATTENTION : Si l’appareil devient excessivement chaud pendant l’utilisation, arrêtez immédiatement

de l’utiliser et laissez-le refroidir avant de recommencez à travailler. La période de refroidissement peut

être réduite en faisant marcher la visseuse à choc à sa vitesse maximale à vide. Vériﬁez toujours que les

oriﬁces de ventilation du moteur (4) ne soient pas bouchés et ne laissez pas la poussière s’introduire dansla

partie interne de l’appareil : en effet, la poussière, en particulier la poussière métallique, peut endommager

considérablement l’appareil, voire le rendre hors service.
