SUPPLIED ITEMS .
Remove your oven and all material from the shipping
carton. Your oven comes with the following material:
1 Turntable
1 Rotating ring
1 Owner’s Manual
1 Cook book
This microwave oven is designed for household use
only. It is not recommended for commercial pur-
poses.
LOCATION
Place the oven at a level location of your choice, but
make sure there is at least 2.5 cm of space on the
top and at the rear for proper ventilation. The side of
the oven should be kept clear so there is airflow for
ventilation. An exhaust outlet is located on side of the
oven. Blocking the outlet can damage the oven. It
should be placed so that there is a safety distance of
about 10cm between the edge of the installation
position and the front of the door, in order to prevent
the oven from falling down.
POWER CONNECTIONS
Power supply
Plug your oven into a standard 220-230 volt house-
hold outlet. Be sure the electrical circuit is capable of
least 13 amps and that your microwave oven is the
only appliance in the circuit.
NOTE: If your oven does not operate properly,
unplug it from the 220-230 volt house-
hold outlet and then plug it back in
again.
Earthing
For safety reasons the unit must be correctly earthed,
in order to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a
short circuit. The power cable is provided with a
Suitable plug, with which the unit must be connected
to a regular earthed outlet.

COOKING UTENSILS
Most
heat-resistant,
non-metallic
cooking
utensils
(e.g.
glass,
glass
ceramic,
and
heat
resistant
glassware
utensils)
are
excellent.
Those
with
a
metallic
rim
must
not
be
used
in
a
microwave
oven.
Microwaves
cannot
penetrate
metal.
They
reflect
from
any
metal
object
in
the
oven,
as
well
as
from
the
internal
walls
of
the
equipment,
and
cause
a
phenomenon
that
can
be
termed
as
sparking.
To
find
out
whether
pottery,
stoneware
or
porcelain
items
(cooking
utensils
and
serving
dishes
etc.)
are
safe,
check
them
in
the
oven.
Place
the
utensil
in
question
next
to
a
glass
measure
filled
with
water
in
the
microwave
oven.
Set
the
microwave
to
maximum
power
for
1
minute,
if
the
water
heats
up,
but
the
utensil
remains
cold
to
touch,
the
utensil
is
microwave-safe.
However,
if
the
water
does
not
change
temperature,
but
the
utensil
becomes
warm,
microwaves
are
being
absorbed
by
the
utensil
and
it
is
not
safe
for
use
in
the
microwave
oven.

Any
utensil
used
for
microwave
cooking
must
be
capable
of
withstanding
very
high
temperatures
from
the
food.
There
are
many
heat-resistant
utensils
made
of
paper
or
plastic
available
which
can
be
used
in
both
micro-
wave
and
conventional
ovens.
Metal
containers
and
deep
trays
are
not
suitable.
They
reflect
energy
away
from
the
food.
Foil-lined
cartons
are
similarly
unsuitable.
NOTE:
To
ensure
the
even
cooking
of
food
that
has
thin
and
thick
sections,
shield
the
thinner
pieces
with
aluminium
foil.
Make
certain,
however,
that
the
foil
is
at
least
2.5
cm
away
form
the
sides
of
the
oven.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Do not attempt to tamper with, or make any adjust-
ments or repairs to the door, control panel, safety
interface switchers or any other part of the oven.
Repairs should only be undertaken by a qualified
service technician.
Do not attempt to operate the oven with the door
open since open door operation can result in harmful
exposure to microwave energy.
Do not operate the oven when empty, it is best to
leave a glass of water in the oven when not in use.
The water will safely absorb all microwave energy, if
the oven is accidentally started
Do not dry clothes in the microwave oven, which
may become carbonized or burned if heated too long.
Do not operate the oven with a kitchen towel, a nap-
kin or any other obstruction between the door and
the inner edges of the oven, which may cause micro-
wave energy leakage.
Do not use recycled paper products since they may
contain impurities which may cause sparks and/or
fires when used in cooking.
Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is par-
ticularly important that the oven door closes properly
and that there is no damage to the door hinges and
latches (broken or loosened), door seals and sealing
surfaces.
The oven must never be used if the door sealing is
not in good working order.

Remove
the
plastic
wrapping
from
food
before
cooki-
ng
or
defrosting.
Note
though
that
in
some
cases
food
should
be
covered
with
plastic
film
for
heating
or
cooking,
as
detailed
in
microwave
cookbooks.
Do
not
use
wooden
containers.
They
may
heat-up
and
char.
Do
not
use
metal
containers
or
crockery
containers
which
have
metallic
(e.g.
gold
or
silver)
inlays.
Always
remove
metal
twist
ties.
Metal
objects
in
the
oven
may
arc,
which
can
cause
serious
damage.
Do
not
rinse
the
turntable
by
placing
it
in
water
just
after
cooking.
This
may
cause
breakage
or
damage.
Small
amounts
of
food
require
shorter
cooking
or
heating
time.
If
normal
times
are
employed,
they
may
overheat
and
burn.
Before cooking pierce the skin of potatoes or any
such fruit or vegetable.
Do
not
cook
eggs
in
their
shell.
Pressure
will
build
up
inside
the
egg
and
it
will
burst.
Do
not
attempt
deep
fat
frying
in
your
oven.
When
liquids
are
cooked
in
microwave
units
without
visible
bubbling,
they
may
be
overheated
above
their
boiling
point.
When
the
container
is
removed,
the
shock
may
cause
the
sudden
formation
of
steam
bubbles.
A
fountain
of
hot
liquid
can
spring
up
out
of
the
container
explosively.
WARNING:
* Do not touch the front glass - this glass is very
hot during heater operation.
* Please ensure cooking times are correctly set as
overcooking may result in FIRE and subsequent
DAMAGE to the oven.
ATTENTION: Please pay attention to the following
points when heating Baby Food in bottles or glass
containers. Generally remove the clouse of the
containers and for good heat distribution stir or shake
well after heating. Check carefully the temperature of
the food before giving it to the child.

1. SETTING THE TIME OF DAY
Set the time of day to, e.g. 4:30, according to the
following steps: CONTROL PANEL DISPLAY
1. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
12:00 will show on the display.
2. Press the CLOCK button. 12 00 will show
without the colon.
3. Enter the correct time of day. The time will be
set.
4. Press the CLOCK button again.
NOTE: This is a 12 hour clock.

HI-POWER/MULTI-POWER
COOKING
HI-power
cooking
gives
the
highest
cooking
power
NOTE:
If
you
do
not
select
the
power
level,
the
possible
with
your
microwave
oven.
It
is
the
oven
will
operate
at
power
level
HI.
To
recommended
setting
for
cooking
foods
with
a
high
set
HI-power
cooking,
skip
steps
4
to
5
moisture
content
or
for
cooking
foods
that
need
fast
of
the
following
example.

Many
foods
need
slower
cooking
(at
less
than
HI
power)
in
order
to
give
you
the
best
results.
In
addition
to
HI-power
cooking
there
are
nine
multi-
power
settings.
The
cookbook
tells
you
which
power
setting
is
recommended
for
the
food
being
cooked.
If
you
want
to
cook
food
at
a
power
level
of
80%
for
5
minutes

seconds
for
example,

the
steps
on
the
next
page
(the
current
time
of
day
is

1. Press the CLEAR button. All previous settings,
except the time of day, are erased.
2. Press the TIME button. 0 will show on the dis-
play and[1) will blink.
3. Press the correct number buttons on the control
panel to set the cooking time. The set time will
show on the display.
4. Press the POWER button. P-HI will appear.
5. Press 8. P-80 will appear.
6. Press the START button. The oven begins to
cook and the time will begin to count down on
the display. Two short and one long tones will
sound and the word END will show on the dis-
play when the 5 minutes 30 seconds are over.

3. MULTI-STAGE COOKING
Multi-stage
cooking
allows
you
to
set
the
oven
at
a
certain
power
level
for
a
chosen
time
in
the
first
stage,
and
then
at
a
different
power
level
for
a
chosen
time
in
the
second
stage.
If
you
want
to
cook
food
at
a
power
level
of
80%
for
4
minutes
in
the
first
stage,
and
at
a
power
level
of
50%
for
10
minutes
in
the
second
Stage
for
example,
follow
steps
1
to
11.

5. Press the START button. When the cooking
cycle is finished, the oven will switch to HOLD
WARM to keep the food warm. The cook con-
trol setting changes to power level 1.

Interior
Food
remains
or
spilled
liquids
easily
remain
stuck
on
the
oven
walls
or
between
door
seals
and
surfaces.
They
should
be
removed
as
soon
as
possible,
as
they
absorb
microwave
energy
and
thereby
lengthen
cooking
time.
Remove
any
crumbs
and
food
remains
between
the
door
and
oven
using
a
damp
cloth.
This
area
has
to
be
particularly
well
cleaned
to
ensure
the
door
is
shut
Properly.
Remove
any
grease
splashes
with
a
soapy
cloth,
then
rinse
and
dry.
Do
not
use
any
cleaning
cloth
or
pad,
or
cleaning
compound
that
is
abrasive.
The
rotating
ring
should
be
removed
and
cleaned
in
hot
soapy
water
at
least
once
a
week
to
prevent
grease
restricting
the
rotation
of
the
wheels.
Exterior
Clean
the
outer
cabinet
with
mild
soap
and
warm
water,
rinse
and
dry
with
a
soft
cloth.
Do
not
spill
water
in
the
vents.
Open
the
oven
door
when
cleaning
the
control
panel
so
that
the
oven
is
not
turned
on
accidentally.
Clean
it
using
a
damp
cloth
and
wipe
it
dry
straight
away.
If
steam
condenses
on
the
inner
door
or
outer
sides
of
the
door,
wipe
it
using
a
damp
cloth.
Steam
con-
densation
can
occur
if
the
microwave
oven
is
used
in
high
humidity.
This
does
not
indicate
an
oven
malfunction.
