3. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
¡ATENCIÓN! Lea todas las instrucciones contenidas aquí. El no seguir las siguientes instrucciones
puede ser causa de una descarga eléctrica, quemaduras y/o daños severos. El término “herramienta”
utilizado en los siguientes puntos hace referencia a ambos, a uso de herramientas principales (con
toma a red) y las herramientas que funcionan con batería (sin toma a red).
1. Mantenga la zona de trabajo limpia y ordenada. Una zona de trabajo desordenada y mal iluminada
conduce a accidentes.
2. No utilice la herramienta en entornos potencialmente peligrosos que contengan carburante, gases
o polvo. Las herramientas generan chispas que podrían hacer prender fuego gases o polvo.
3. Mantenga a los niños y otras personas alejadas cuando utilice una herramienta. Una distracción
puede hacer que el operario pierda el control de la herramienta.
4. Mantenga la herramienta fuera de la lluvia. La penetración de agua la herramienta aumentará la
posibilidad de sufrir una descarga eléctrica.
Seguridad personal
1. Permanezca alerta, céntrese en lo que está haciendo y use el sentido común cuando

Manejo y uso adecuado
1. No sobrecargue la herramienta. Use la herramienta para lo que fue diseñadas y para cada
tipo de trabajo. El uso de la herramienta adecuada y dentro de su rango de rendimiento hará el
trabajo más seguro y efectivo.
2. No utilice la herramienta con un conmutador dañado. Cualquier herramienta que no pueda
encenderse o apagarse es peligrosa y debe ser reparada
3. Desenchúfela de la toma principal antes de ajustar la máquina, cambiar de accesorio. Esta
precaución evitará un arranque accidental de la herramienta.
4. Guarde la herramienta fuera del alcance de los niños. No permita que cualquier persona que
no esté familiarizada con la herramienta o con estás instrucciones la use. Las herramientas
son peligrosas en manos inexpertas.
5. Realice un mantenimiento apropiado de la herramienta. Compruebe que los componentes
móviles funcionen adecuadamente y que no haya ningún atasco/enganche y que no haya
ninguna parte móvil dañada de tal forma que pudiese afectar al buen uso de la herramienta.
Haga que se la reparen antes de usarla sin es necesario. Muchos accidentes son causados por
herramientas mal cuidadas.
6. Mantenga la herramienta alada y limpia. Cuide bien sus herramientas de corte, una
herramienta bien alada se atascará menos y es más fácil de guiar.
7. Use herramientas, accesorios y herramientas de trabajo, según las indicaciones en este
manual de instrucciones y como se indica para cada tipo de herramienta. Deberá también
tener en cuenta las condiciones de trabajo y la zona de actuación. El uso de una máquina

Seguridad eléctrica
1. Los enchufes de la herramienta eléctrica deben coincidir con el tomacorriente. Nunca modique
el enchufe de ninguna manera. No utilice enchufes adaptadores con herramientas eléctricas
conectadas a tierra. Los enchufes no modicados y los tomacorrientes correspondientes reducirán

6. Si no puede evitar la operación de una herramienta eléctrica en un lugar húmedo, use un
suministro protegido por el dispositivo de corriente residual (RCD). El uso de un RCD reduce el
riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
7. Siempre se recomienda el uso de la fuente de alimentación a través de RCD con una corriente
residual nominal de 30 mA o menos.
Advertencias de seguridad de la amoladora

Montaje del disco*
Utilice discos de la dimensión correcta.
Utilice únicamente discos reforzados con bra. El
disco abrasivo no debe tocar el borde del protector.
- Presione el bloqueo del eje y gire el eje (8) hasta
que encaje en el bloqueo. Mantenga presionado el
bloqueo del eje durante este procedimiento.
- Retire la tuerca de brida (7) del eje con la llave (6).
- Coloque el disco (2) en la brida (9).
- Coloque la tuerca de brida en el eje y apriétela con
la llave.
- Suelte el bloqueo del eje y verique que el eje esté
desbloqueado girándolo.

Montaje del mango lateral*
El mango lateral se puede usar para el control de la mano izquierda y derecha.
- Sujete la manija lateral para la operación con la mano izquierda en el lado derecho de la máquina.
- Sujete la manija lateral para la operación con la mano derecha en el lado izquierdo de la máquina.
- Sujete la manija lateral para trabajar en posición vertical en la parte superior de la máquina.

ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de que el asa lateral esté bien ajustada y no se pueda soltar
inesperadamente
5. FUNCIONAMIENTO
Observe siempre las instrucciones de seguridad y las reglamentaciones aplicables.
ADVERTENCIA: No coloque la máquina sobre la pieza de trabajo cuando la encienda o apague. El
disco abrasivo puede dañar la pieza de trabajo.
- Sujete la pieza de trabajo y asegúrese de que no pueda deslizarse por debajo de la máquina durante
las actividades de corte.
- Sujete la máquina rmemente y presiónela bajo un ángulo de aproximadamente 15º contra la pieza
de trabajo. Mueva el disco de corte de manera uniforme a través de la pieza de trabajo.
- Inspeccione regularmente el disco. Los discos de corte desgastados tienen un efecto negativo en la
eciencia de la máquina. Reemplácelo a tiempo.
- Apague siempre la máquina antes de quitar el enchufe de la toma de corriente.

Encendido y apagado*
Deslice el interruptor de encendido / apagado hacia adelante:
- Para apagar, presione el interruptor de encendido/apagado, esto saltará a la posición “apagado”.
- No baje la máquina cuando el motor todavía esté funcionando. No coloque la máquina sobre una
supercie polvorienta. Las partículas de polvo pueden meterse al mecanismo.

ADVERTENCIA: Nunca use el bloqueo del eje para detener el motor.
ADVERTENCIA: Nunca use la máquina para moler piezas de magnesio.
6. MANTENIMIENTO
PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese siempre de que la herramienta esté apagada y desenchufada antes de
intentar realizar una inspección o mantenimiento.
NOTA: Nunca use gasolina, bencina, diluyente, alcohol o similares. Decoloración, deformación o se pueden producir grietas.
Limpieza
Limpie regularmente la carcasa de la máquina con un paño suave, preferiblemente después de cada
uso. Mantenga las ranuras de ventilación libres del polvo y la suciedad. Si la suciedad no se desprende,
use un paño suave humedecido con agua jabonosa. Nunca use solventes como gasolina, alcohol, agua
con amoníaco, etc. Estos solventes pueden dañar las piezas de plástico.
Lubricación
La máquina no requiere lubricación adicional.
Fallos
Si ocurre una falla, como por ejemplo después del desgaste de una pieza, comuníquese con su
distribuidor local.
Entorno
Para evitar que la máquina se dañe durante el transporte, se entrega en un embalaje resistente. La
mayoría de los materiales de embalaje pueden ser reciclados. Lleve estos materiales a los lugares de
reciclaje apropiados.
Para mantener la SEGURIDAD y FIABILIDAD del producto, las reparaciones y cualquier otro
mantenimiento o ajuste deben ser realizados por los Centros de Servicio Autorizados GOODYEAR,
siempre utilizando repuestos GOODYEAR.

3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION!Read all instructions contained herein. Failure to observe the following instructions

4. Remove adjustment tools or wrenches on before you switch the tool on. A wrench or another
tool that is inside or on a turning part of the tool may cause injury.
5. Take care of a safe footing and keep your balance at all times. This will allow you to better
control the tool in unexpected situations.

6. Wear suitable clothes. Do not wear wide clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothes and
gloves clear of all moving parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long hair may get caught in moving
parts.
Appropriate handling and use
1. Do not overload the power tool. Use the power tool intended for your type of work in each
case. The use of the suitable power tool within the stated range of performance makes working
more eective and safer.
2. Do not use a power tool with a damaged switch. A power tool that cannot be switched on or o
any more is dangerous and must be repaired.
3. Pull the tool out of the socket before you adjust a tool, change accessories or put the tool
aside. This precaution avoids the unintentional start of the tool.
4. Store power tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons to use the tool if they
are not familiar with the tool or these instructions. Power tools are dangerous if used by
inexperienced persons.
5. Thoroughly maintain your power tool. Check whether moving parts are working properly
and are not jamming/sticking, and whether parts are broken or otherwise damaged in a way
that aects the function of the tool. Have damaged parts repaired before using the tool.

intended for the respective tool may result in dangerous situations.
ATTENTION!Have the power tool serviced by qualied technical personnel only; repairs
should be carried out using exclusively original spare parts. This will ensure the safe operation of
the power tool.
Electrical safety
1. The power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use adapter
plugs with grounded power tools. Unmodied plugs and corresponding outlets will reduce the
risk of electric shock.
2. Avoid body contact with grounded or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, stoves and

Angle grinder safety warnings
1. Use auxiliary handles, if supplied with the tool. Loss of control can cause personal injury.
2. Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation in which the
cutting attachment may come into contact with hidden wires. The cutting of the accessory that comes
into contact with a“live” cable can cause the exposed metal parts of the power tool to be“active”and
could cause an electric shock to the operator.
3. Always make sure you have a rm foundation. Make sure there is no one below when using the tool
in high places.
4. Hold the tool rmly.
5. Keep hands away from rotating parts.
6. Do not leave the tool running. Operate the tool only when it is in your hand.
7. Do not touch the drill bit or work piece immediately after the operation, they may be extremely hot
and could burn your skin.
8. Some materials contain chemicals that can be toxic. Be careful to avoid inhalation of dust and skin
contact. Follow the safety data of the material supplier.
WARNING: DO NOT allow comfort or familiarity with the product (obtained with repeated use) to
avoid strict compliance with the safety standards of the product in question. Misuse or breach of the
safety rules set forth in this instruction manual can cause serious personal injury.
4. ASSEMBLY
CAUTION: Always be sure that the tool is switched o and unplugged before installing or
removing the bit.

CAUTION: Before mounting an accessory, always unplug the tool.

Mounting a grinding disc*
Use grinding discs of the correct dimension. Use bre
reinforced grinding discs only. The grinding disc must
not touch the edge of the guard.
- Press the spindle lock and turn the spindle (8) until
it engages in the lock. Keep the spindle lock pressed
during this procedure.
- Remove the ange nut(7) from the spindle using the
spanner(6).
- Position the grinding disc(2) on the ange(9).
- Place the ange nut on the spindle an tighten it
using the spanner.
- Release the spindle lock and check that the spindle
is unlocked by rotating it.
*Depending on model
Mounting the side handle*
The side handle can be used for both le-hand and right-hand control.
- Fasten the side handle for left-hand operation on the right-hand side of the machine.
- Fasten the side handle for right-hand operation on the le-hand side of the machine.
- Fasten the side handle for upright working at the top pf the machine.
*Depending on model
CAUTION: Make sure that the side handle is fastened properly and can not loasen unexpectedly.
5. OPERATION
Always observe the safety instruction and applicable regulations.
CAUTION: Do not place the machine on the workpiece when switching the machine on or o. The
grinding disc may damage the workpiece.
- Clamp the workpiece and make sure that the workpiece can not slide from under the machine during
the cutting activities.
- Hold the machine rmly and press it under an angle of approximately 15” against the workpiece.
Move the grinding disc evenly across the workpiece.
- Regularly inspect the grinding disc. Worn grinding discs have a negative eect on the eciency of the
machine . Replace a grinding disc on time.
- Always switch o the machine rst befare removing the plug from the wall socket.

Switching on and o*
Slide the on/o switch forwards:
- To switch o, depress the on/o switch, this will then jump to the”o’’ position.
- Do not put the machine down when the motor is still running. Do not place the machine on a dusty
surface. Dust particles may enter the mechanism.

CAUTION: Never use the spindle lock to stop the motor.
CAUTION: Never use the machine for grinding magnesium workpieces.
6. MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Always ensure that the tool is turned o and unplugged before attempting to perform
an inspection or maintenance.
NOTE: Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol or the like. Discoloration, deformation or cracks may result.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the machina housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the ventilation
slots from dust and dirt. lf the dirt does not come o use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solents such as petral, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may damage the plastic
parts.
Lubrication
The machina requires no additional lubrication.
Faults
Should a fault occur, e.g. after wear of a part, please contact your local dealer. In the back of this
manual you nd an exploded view showing the parts that can be ordered.
Environment
In arder to prevent the machina from damage during transport, it is delivered in a sturdy packaging.
Most of the packaging materials can be recycled. Take these materials to the appropriate recycling
locations.
