You will need the manual for the safety warnings and precautions, assembly
instructions, operating and maintenance procedures, parts list and diagram. Keep
your invoice with this manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front
cover. Keep the manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference.
Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING:When using speakers, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using these speakers!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Observe work area conditions. Do not use machines or power speakers in
damp or wet locations. Don’t expose to rain. Keep work area well lit. Do not
useelectricallypowered speakersinthe presenceofflammable gasesor
liquids.
3. Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do
not let them handle machines, speakers, or extension cords.
4. Store idle equipment. When not in use, speakers must be stored in a dry
location to inhibit rust. Always lock up speakers and keep out of reach of
children.
5. Use the right speakers for the job. Do not attempt to force a set of small
speakerstodo theworkof largerindustrialspeakers. Therearecertain
applicationsforwhich thesespeakerswere designed.Theywill dothejob
better and more safely at the rate for which they were intended. Do not modify
these speakers and do not use these speakers for a purpose for which they
werenotintended.
6. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.

7. Maintain speakers with care. Keepspeakersmaintainedand clean forbetter
andsafer performance. Inspectspeaker cords periodicallyand, if damaged,
havethemrepaired by anauthorizedtechnician.
8. Disconnect power.Unplug speakers when not in use.
9. Avoid unintentional starting. Be sure the switch is in the Off position when
notin use andbefore plugging in.
10. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Do not operate
speakerswhen you aretired.
11. Check for damaged parts. Before using speakers, any part that appears
damagedshould be carefullychecked to determinethat it willoperate properly
andperform its intendedfunction. Anypart that isdamaged should beproperly
repaired or replaced by a qualified technician. Do not use the speakers if any
switch does not turn On and Off properly.
12. Guard against electric shock. Preventbody contact withgrounded surfaces
suchas pipes, radiators, ranges,and refrigerator enclosures.
13. Do not operate speakers if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Readwarninglabels on prescriptionstodetermine if yourjudgment or reflexes
are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not operate the
speakers.
14. Use proper size and type extension cord. If an extension cord is required,
it must be of the proper size and type to supply the correct current to the
speakers without heating up. Otherwise, the extension cord could melt and
catch fire, or cause electrical damage to the speakers. This speakers requires
use of an extension cord of 0 to 10 amps capability (up to 50 feet), with wire
size rated at 18 AWG.Longer extension cords require larger size wire.If you
areusing the speakers outdoors, use an extension cord rated for outdoor use.
(signified by “WA” on the jacket).
15. Maintenance. For your safety, service and maintenance should be performed
regularlybya qualified technician.
16. Pacemaker safety warning. People with pacemakers should consult with
theirphysician(s) before usingthis product; operationof equipment inclose
proximityto a heartpacemaker could causeinterference or failureof the
pacemaker.
Note:Performance of thesespeakers may varydepending on variationsinlocal line
voltage.Extensioncord usage mayalsoaffect speaker performance.

Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure the following parts are included.

Operation
1. Arrange the speakers on both sides of your computer or CD player.
2. Plug the small plug into the audio outlet of your computer or CD player.
3. Plug the power plug into a breaker switch protected 120VAC outlet.
NOTE:The speakers may be powered ON or OFF, but should be connected to the
computerCDplayerbeforeturning that device on.

4. If it is not on, press the Power Button on the front of the speaker to turn it ON.
The red LED light will indicated that the speaker power is on.
5. Using the controls on your computer or CD player, play an audio file or other
music.
6. Your computer or CD player will have volume and tone controls built into its
operatingsystem. Those controlthe
sounddeliveredtotheironboardspeakers
or audio outlet. These speakers act as an
amplifier.You can further increase the
volumebyadjustingthevolume control
onthe speaker.
NOTE:The singleON/OFFPowerSwitch
andVolume knob control both speakers
simultaneously.
7. Whenyou are done listening,
turn the Power OFF by pressing the
Power Switch. The red LED light will go
out, indicating that the speakers are
turned OFF.
Maintenance
1. Turn the speakers OFF when not in use.
2. Protectthe speakers from damage. Do not expose them to damp or corrosive
atmospheres.
3. Thesespeakers are notwaterproof and arenot designed tobe used outdoors.
Theymay be damaged ifused outdoors.
4. Keep speakers clean.Occasionally dust with a duster or clean dry paint
brush.
5. No user serviceable parts are available. Do not attempt to repair.
