ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

before set up or use of this product.
Assembly
Tripod Stand Setup:1.
Determine at what height you want the scopea.
to be set so that you will know how many of
the three telescoping sections you need to
drop down.
This should be a few inches lower than actu-b.
ally desired as explained later.

c. Holding the Tripod in one hand, with the
other, open the Plastic Lock Lever (4) for
each section required. (See Fig. 1.)
Once all stand sections desired are extend-d.
ed, open the legs and lower the center piece
to hold the legs open. The Tripod is ready.
Mounting the Spotting Scope:2. At the top of
the Tripod there is a small tilting base which
has a 1/4" x 20 screw with a Plastic Star
Knob (9).
Taking note of where the attaching hole is ata.
the bottom of the spotting scope, line up the
hole with the screw in the base.
Turn the Plastic Star Knob (9) threading theb.
screw into the bottom of the Spotting Scope.

c. Tighten the Plastic Star Knob (9) (See Fig.
2.) securely. The Spotting Scope is now
ready to use. (See Fig. 3.)
Operating Instructions
Initial Setup:1.
With the Spotting Scope lower than desired,a.
loosen the Vertical Height Adjustment Knob
(8) and raise the Spotting Scope and base
to the desired level. Tighten the Vertical
Height Adjustment Knob again. (See Fig. 3.)
Viewing Angle:2.
Depending on how the Spotting Scope isa.
mounted on the base, it can view horizontal
and up, or horizontal and down.
If the subject to be viewed is horizontal to orb.
below the Spotting Scope, mount the scope
with the Tilt Adjustment Lever (6) on the right-
hand side of the Tripod.
If the subject is at a higher level than thec.
scope, mount the Spotting Scope with the Tilt
Adjustment Lever (6) on the left-hand side.

Loosening the Tilt Adjustment Lever (6) al-d.
lows the scope/base to tilt right/left.
Loosening the Horizontal Adjustment Knobe.
(7) allows the scope/base to rotate 360°.
Focusing:3.
Aim Spotting Scope at the subject to view.a.
Again, it cannot be stressed too much, never
look at the sun using the Spotting Scope.
Severe eye damage is likely to occur.
Looking through the Eyepiece (See Fig.b.
2.), use the Focus Adjustment (see Fig. 2)
to sharpen the image of the subject being
viewed.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Never put the scope in water or use in rain.1.
This scope is not waterproof.
Wipe the outside of the scope with a clean,2.
dry cloth.
Lenses can be cleaned with small amount of3.
lens cleaning solution on a soft cloth, do not
pour directly onto lenses.
Fingers should not be allowed to touch the4.
lenses.
When the scope is moved from a cold loca-5.
tion to a warmer one as in indoors, there may
be a certain amount of condensation that
develops on the lenses. This will dissipate in
about an hour.
When not in use, the scope should be6.
wrapped in a soft dry cloth and stored away
in a clean dry area.

our facilities, criminal activity, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We
shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special
or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to

ment. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the
defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning
