Introduction
Thanks for purchasing the GPO Magna Bluetooth Speaker. This
portable speaker system provides high quality audio playback from
Bluetooth-enabled devices no matter where you are. It’s time to take
your music on the road.
Safety Notice
CAUTION!
Do NOT open the unit casing due to the risk of an electric shock.
Safety Precautions
In order to safely use your new Bluetooth speaker and reduce the risk
of injury or damage, please follow the following precautions:
• Do not use the unit if the supply cord is damaged. Contact the GPO
Retro support team for information on replacing the cord.
• Before turning on the unit, ensure that it is plugged in to a power
supply of the correct voltage. If abroad, an adaptor may be required.
• Young children should not use this device.
• Ensure that the unit is disconnected from the power supply before
cleaning, servicing, maintenance or moving.
• Always place the unit on a at surface for operation
• Do not operate the unit with wet hands, submerge it in water or spill
liquid into the unit
• Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the unit
• The unit is intended for domestic use only and should not be used
outdoors
• Only clean the unit with a soft cloth and mild detergent

Unit Power Supply
The speaker is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. Please
ensure that the battery is fully charged before use.
Please note: All rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan. Battery
life and the number of charge cycles vary according to usage and
settings.
Recharging the battery
1. Connect the AC adaptor to the DC jack of the unit
2. Connect the AC adaptor to a wall socket and turn the socket on
3. The Charging LED Indicator will now illuminate. While the battery is
charging, the indicator will be red. Once charging is complete, the
indicator will turn green.
Once the Charging LED Indicator turns green, the battery is fully
charged and the unit is ready for use.
When the battery is low, the indicator light will ash and the display will
show ‘LO’.
For best results, charge the unit at least once per month, even when
not in use.

Bluetooth Operation
To turn the unit on, rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise.
Connecting a Bluetooth Device
1. Ensure that the unit is turned on
2. Bring your Bluetooth Device to within 8 metres of the unit
3. Activate your device’s Bluetooth function and search for ‘Manga’ to
begin the pairing process.
4. Adjust the volume knob to your desired level
5. Use your device’s controls to play, pause or skip your selected track
Disconnecting a Bluetooth Device
To disconnect your device, either:
a) Disable Bluetooth on your device; or
b) Move the device out of communication range

USB Operation
The GPO Magna Bluetooth Speaker can play tracks directly from a
USB drive.
Connecting a USB drive
1. Ensure that the unit is turned on by turning the Power/Volume knob
2. Set the function selector to ‘USB’
3. Plug in your chosen USB drive
4. Play will begin automatically
5. Use the unit’s Play/Pause/Stop/Fast Forward/Rewind buttons to
control playback
Repeat play mode
The unit supports the following repeat play modes:
1. Repeat 1: The system will repeat the current track
2. Repeat All: The system will play all tracks on the USB, then return to
the rst track and repeat once the nal track has nished
3. Repeat Folder: The system will repeat all tracks in the current folder

Speaker Operation
The unit also supports AUX In, Input Port and Microphone Jack
playback.
AUX In
1. Plug in an MP3 player or other device to the AUX In port using a
3.5mm audio jack (not supplied)
2. Change the function setting to AUX In
3. Operate your device as directed
Input Port
1. Connect an electric guitar or electronic keyboard to the Input port
using an Input cord (not supplied)
2. Adjust the Input volume to your preferred level
Microphone Jack
1. Plug a microphone (not supplied) into the Microphone jack
2. Adjust the microphone volume to your preferred level
Echo/Treble/Bass
Using the controls on the unit will allow you to adjust the Echo, Treble
and Bass of the audio playback.

Troubleshooting
Q) The unit will not turn on
A) Ensure that the batteries are fully charged and installed correctly.
Q) My device won’t pair with the unit
A) Turn off the unit and your device, turn both back on and try again

Für den sicheren Umgang mit Ihrem neuen Bluetooth-Lautsprecher
und zur Reduzierung des Verletzungs- und Schadensrisikos beachten
Sie bitte die folgenden Sicherheitsvorkehrungen:
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn das Stromkabel beschädigt ist.
Erkundigen Sie sich beim Support-Team von GPO Retro nach einem
Ersatz des Kabels.
• Ehe Sie das Gerät einschalten, sorgen Sie dafür, dass es in eine
Steckdose mit der korrekten Netzspannung eingesteckt ist. Wenn

Stromversorgung
Der Lautsprecher wird über einen fest installierten Akku versorgt.
Ehe Sie das Gerät verwenden, sorgen Sie dafür, dass der Akku voll
geladen ist.
Bitte beachten: Die Lebensdauer aller Akkus ist begrenzt. Die
Lebensdauer des Akkus und die Anzahl der Auadezyklen hängen vom
Gebrauch und den Geräteeinstellungen ab.
Akku auaden:
1. Schließen Sie den AC-Adapter an die DC-Buchse des Geräts an.
2. Stecken Sie das Netzkabel des AC-Adapters in eine
Wandsteckdose.
3. Die LED-Anzeige für den Ladestatus leuchtet auf. Während der
Akku geladen wird, ist die Anzeige rot. Nachdem der Akku voll
geladen ist, schaltet die Anzeige auf Grün.
Eine grüne LED-Anzeige für den Ladestatus bedeutet, dass der Akku
voll geladen und das Gerät betriebsbereit ist.
Wenn der Akku nahezu entladen ist, blinkt die LED-Anzeige und auf
dem Display erscheint „LO“.
Für beste Ergebnisse sollten Sie das Gerät mindestens einmal
monatlich laden, auch wenn es nicht in Gebrauch ist.

Bluetooth-Betrieb
Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Power/Volume-Knopf im
Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
Bluetooth-Gerät anschließen
1. Schalten Sie den Lautsprecher ein.
2. Bringen Sie Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät in einen Abstand von maximal 8
Metern vom Lautsprecher.
3. Aktivieren Sie die Bluetooth-Funktion des Abspielgeräts und suchen
Sie nach „Manga“, um die Geräte zu koppeln.
4. Stellen Sie über den Lautstärkeregler die gewünschte Lautstärke
ein.
5. Verwenden Sie die Bedienungselemente Ihres Abspielgeräts,
um den gewünschten Titel abzuspielen, zu pausieren oder zu
überspringen.
Bluetooth-Gerät trennen
Zum Trennen Ihres Geräts können Sie entweder:
a) Bluetooth auf Ihrem Gerät deaktivieren oder
b) das Gerät außer Reichweite bringen. Bluetooth-Gerät erneut

USB-Betrieb
Der GPO Magna Bluetooth-Lautsprecher kann Aufnahmen direkt von
einem USB-Laufwerk wiedergeben.
Einen USB-Stick anschließen
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät durch Drehen des Power/Volume-Knopfs an.
2. Stellen Sie die Funktionsauswahl auf „USB“.
3. Stecken Sie den gewünschten USB-Stick ein.
4. Die Wiedergabe beginnt automatisch.
5. Über die Tasten Play/Pause/Stop/Fast Forward/Rewind können Sie
die Wiedergabe steuern.
Repeat-Play-Modus
Das Gerät unterstützt die folgenden Repeat-Play-Modi:
1. Repeat 1: Das System wiederholt den aktuellen Titel.
2. Repeat All: Das System spielt alle Titel auf dem USB-Stick und kehrt
zum ersten Titel zurück, nachdem der letzte Titel gespielt wurde.
3. Repeat Folder: Das System wiederholt alle Titel des aktuellen
Ordners.

Lautsprecherbetrieb
Das Gerät unterstützt ferner die Wiedergabe über den AUX-In-, Input-
und Mikrofonanschluss.
AUX In
1. Schließen Sie einen MP3-Player oder ein anderes Gerät an die
AUX-In-Buchse an. Verwenden Sie dazu einen 3,5 mm Audiostecker
(nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten)
2. Wählen Sie die Funktionseinstellung AUX In
3. Betreiben Sie Ihr Gerät nach Anweisung.
Input-Anschluss
1. Über den Input-Anschluss können Sie mittels Input-Kabel (nicht
im Lieferumfang enthalten) eine elektrische Gitarre oder ein
elektrisches Keyboard anschließen.
2. Stellen Sie die Input-Lautstärke auf den gewünschten Pegel ein.
Mikrofonbuchse
1. Schließen Sie ein Mikrofon (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) an die
Mikrofon-Buchse an.
2. Stellen Sie die Mikrofon-Lautstärke auf den gewünschten Pegel ein.
Echo/Treble/Bass
Mithilfe dieser Bedienknöpfe können Sie Hall, Höhen und Bässe der
Tonwiedergabe einstellen.
