1. Stand folded gate (A) against the doorframe where you
intend to mount it. (See Figure 1)
2. Mark center of hole on floor 1.5” away form wall to fit the 5/8”
pin at bottom of gate. (See Figure 2)
3. Drill 3/4” hold in floor.
4. Place washer (E) over 3/4”hole.
5. Put gate pin (A) through washer into hole. (See Figure 2)
6. Install hinge bar (C)on wall. Mark the mounting surface
through the holes in the hinge bar with a pen or pencil.(See
Figure 3) For mounting into:
Wood: use 5/16” ×2” Lag Bolts.
Steel: drill and tap for 5/16” ×1” Bolts.
Brick or concrete: 5/16” ×2” Lag Bolts in 3/8” holes
with lead anchors.
7. Drill appropriate size holes in the mounting surface.
8. Mount the gate (A) by inserting the appropriate bolts through
the hinge bar.
9. Stretch the gate (A) across the
opening.

10. Repeat step 1 to 9. Mount another piece of Gate.
11. Pull the gate (A&B) together, and insert a padlock. (See Figure 1)
12. When moving gate, please use fixing bar (E) to lock for safety. (See Figure 4)
13. For Gate 2XZH1: Gate has Drop Pin mounted in center of gate web, one for each side of
gate. Install gate using Steps 1 to 9. Open gate and mark floor for Drop Pin holes. Drill
3/4in. holes in floor for Drop Pins and secure gate.
