Monitoring pressure loss:
1. Fill the container up to the pressure level of 8,5 bar.
2. Watch the manometer.
3. After 1 hour read the pressure difference on the manometer.
Monitoring ball valves:
1. When filling and emptying the Booster device, pay attention to
the valve lever whether it can be moved freely.
INTENDED USE
Booster serves as an aid in inflating tubeless tyres. A common
problem in this kind of tyres is the air that goes through the valve and
leaks through the aperture between the rim flange and the rim fringe
protector which prevents the tyre from being inflated. The solution
for this problem is a rim for inflating the tubeless tyres. It is available
in different sizes for different rim diameters.
Booster is a universal device supporting tyre inflation as it can be
used for rims with different diameters. The pressure container serves
as a sort of a “means of transport” for the compressed air.
Compressed air is inflated into the tyre very fast through a special
valve, so that the rim fringe protectors almost immediately fit tightly
to the rim –thanks to this, the inflating process continued through the
valve can be successfully finished.
UNPACKING
Check for damage
Right after you collect the package, check to ensure that it was not
damaged during shipping. Bear in mind the legally defined deadlines
for returning the package.
OPERATING AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
The Booster device can be used only for purposes described in
this user guide.
Storage
If the device is not used, you must store it in an empty state:
constricting nozzle must be directed downward, so that the
condensed moisture can drain away.
Safety valve
Safety valve opens when the pressure exceeds the permissible value
(9 bar).
Filling with compressed air
The container must be filled only with clear, dry and de-oiled air at
an ambient temperature. The pressure of the compressed air cannot
exceed 9 bar.
Noise
Hearing protection must be used when the device deflates the air.
WARNING:
The Booster device makes noise which may damage your
hearing, therefore, you must wear hearing protectors.
The device makes noise at the level up to 135 dB. The
measurement took place with an open constricting nozzle; when
filling up the tyre, the noise level will be lower. When tyres are
inflated 6-10 times a day, the average level of noise will remain
below 70 dB. Workers who are nearby the place of tyre inflating
process, must also wear hearing protectors.
Eye protection
You must wear eye protection, regardless the place where
the device is being emptied. There is a danger that dirt,
dust, rust and other foreign objects may be raised by the
stream of air..
