Rebuild Instruction UKA 3G Fiberadapter
Description:
Instruction for adapting the 3G Fiber Adapter LDK5420/** for use
with the
Xenz Camerahead.
UKA Upgrade Kit Fiber 3922 407 62881 consists of:
1X Rebuild Instruction
1X Assembled DockPlate unit
3X Washer M3
2X Guide Pin
Type Sticker
Tools needed:
Standard set of Torx Screwdrivers
Coax Removal Tool (8122 407 01631)
PC or Laptop with LDK Scripter 7.0 (or 7.3 when using the JTAG Dongle)
Package needed:
Package 3922 407 .....

Precautions:
Take sufficient ESD precautions
Do not open the adapter when it’s connected via Fiberhybrid Cable to a Basestation.
Only trained and qualified personnel are allowed to perform this Rebuild.

Rebuild Instruction
Step 1:
Remove the Left and Right Cover
Step 2:
Unscrew the Dockingplate by the four screws and the two Connector Guides
Remove the HS Output Board.
Unplug the Coax connector X6101 with the help of the Coax Removal Tool.
Unplug the Coax connector X6101 with the help of the Coax Removal Tool.
Unplug the Coax connector X6101 with the help of the Coax Removal Tool.
Step 3:
Removal of dockingplate and interconnection board.

Remove the Dockingplate, unplug the Fanconnection from X32 Motherboard.
Step 4:
Remove the Fanunit with Damper from the Dockingplate.
The Fanunit will be re-used.
Step 5:
Remove the Cooling Block by unsrcewing the six screws.

Disconnect the three fl exes X111, X112, X113
Step 7:
Disconnect the Powercord from the motherboard.
Unscrew the Bottom Printrail.

Disconnect the Microphone Cable (X115) fi rst.
Remove the Interconnection Board.
Disconnect the three fl exes X111, X112, X113

Mount the Fan with Damper in the new Docking Plate.

Re-route the Coax for TP-out.
Disconnect the Coaxconnecter with the Coax Removal tool.
Place the connector as in the foto. Carefully pull the coax-cable into the back of the adapter.

Place the new Dockingplate in front of the adapter.
Screw the two new Docking Pins into the adapterhousing.
Connect the Audio Cable to X115

Mount the Bottomrail, place the included three Washers underneath.

Put the Dockingplate Top in the slide.
Step 17:
Close the Dockingplate.
Make sure the end of the three fl exes are on the motherboard side.
Connect the three fl exes (X111, X112 and X113)

Fasten the Dockingplate with
the four screws.
Fasten the Dockingplate.
Step 19:
Look inside for
correct mounting.
(without the HS-Output Board
installed).
Install the HS Outputboard.
Connect the Coaxcable to X6101.
Check the routing for all Cables.

Mount the Coolingplate with the six screws.
Place the rightside and leftside cover.
