c. If the battery is damaged or used improperly, fumes may be
emitted. Provide fresh air and consult a doctor if you feel ill. The fumes
may irritate the respiratory tract.
d. Under abusive conditions, liquids may be ejected from the
battery; avoid contact. If contact accidently occurs, flush with water.
If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical assistance. Liquid
ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
e. Use only original batteries with the voltage indicated on the
rating plate of your electric power tool. If other batteries are used, i.e.,
imitations, reconditioned batteries, or third-party products, there is a risk
of injuries as well as damage caused by exploding batteries. The battery
voltage must match the battery charger. Otherwise, there is a risk of fire
and explosion.
f. Recharge only with the charger specified by Griot’s Garage.
A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk
of fire when used with another battery pack.
g. Pointed objects, such as nails or screwdrivers, or external
forces may damage battery. This may cause an internal short-circuit
and the battery to burn, smoke, explode, or overheat.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

•At the end of the charging process remove the battery charger plug
from wall outlet.
•It is normal for the battery and battery charger to heat up during the
charging process.
•Lithium-Ion batteries do not exhibit the well know memory effect
common with Ni-Cad batteries
•Follow the instructions for charging the battery in the operating
instructions for the electric power tool and the battery charger.
•Reduced operating times after recharging indicates that the battery is
worn out. The battery must be replaced. Batteries are consumable and
