WARRANTY
Worldwide, Guillemot Corporation S.A. (“Guillemot”) warrants to t e consumer t at t is Hercules product will
be free from material defects and manufacturing flaws for a period of two (2) years from t e original date of
purc ase. S ould t e product appear to be defective during t e warranty period, immediately contact
Tec nical Support, w o will indicate t e procedure to follow. If t e defect is confirmed, t e product must be
returned to its place of purc ase (or any ot er location indicated by Tec nical Support).
Wit in t e context of t is warranty, t e consumer’s defective product will, at Tec nical Support’s option, be
eit er repaired or replaced. W ere aut orized by applicable law, t e full liability of Guillemot and its
subsidiaries (including for indirect damages) is limited to t e repair or replacement of t e Hercules product.
T e consumer’s legal rig ts wit respect to legislation applicable to t e sale of consumer goods are not
affected by t is warranty.
T is warranty s all not apply: (1) if t e product as been modified, opened, altered, or as suffered damage
as a result of inappropriate or abusive use, negligence, an accident, normal wear, or any ot er cause not
related to a material defect or manufacturing flaw; (2) in t e event of failure to comply wit t e instructions
provided by Tec nical Support; (3) to software not publis ed by Guillemot, said software being subject to a
specific warranty provided by its publis er.
