Please take time to read this guide carefully before installing your speakers as it
contains all the information you need to achieve optimal sound and performance.
We highly recommend you retain both packaging and this User’s Guide for future use.

We advise against using spiked feet with any Guru loudspeakers. The Juniors are
supplied with damping pads to minimise both box movement and mechanical energy
transferred to the surface they are placed on, thus reducing any subsequent loss in
bass response.
Connect your loudspeakers to your amplifier using a high quality speaker cable with
banana type connector plugs. The thickness of the cable should be related to the
distance between the speakers and the amplifier. For most setups we recommend a
1.5 mm2speaker cable.

The Juniors are designed to be toed inwards to create a wider «sweetspot». From the
listening position adjust the toe in angle so that you can just see the outer side edges
of the speakers.

Place the Juniors on speaker stands, 50 to 60 cm high, or on a shelf or furniture at
the same height. They are designed to be placed very close to a solid wall – ideally
less than 5 cm.

TIPS ON MAKING YOUR ROOM SOUND EVEN BETTER
The Guru Juniors are designed to perform well in all home environments following our
recommendations. However, it doesn’t take very much to enhance your listening experi-
ence, so we have some tips on room treatment.
1. Buy some nice rugs for the room where you have your speakers. The more the better!
2. Adding more soft furnishings e.g. curtains, sofas, etc. to the room is often beneficial.
3. Break up flat wall surfaces in the room with paintings or framed pictures.
4. A low coffee table is a great way of reducing floor reflections.
