thetics and some medicines slow
down the body’s reactions and aect
judgement and coordination, which
can easily result in loss of control
over the vehicle and a serious acci-
dent.

to mistakes that other drivers or pe-
destrians on the road may make, so
you can promptly appraise the situa-
tion and prevent an accident.
〉Pay attention while driving: Anything
that distracts the driver, including ad-
justing vehicle controls, making or re-
ceiving telephone calls and reading
can cause a collision that results in
serious injury or death to you, pas-
sengers in the vehicle or others.

Never leave a child, a person needing
assistance or a pet alone in the vehicle.

and pets cannot leave the vehicle or

plate. The code on the plate is re-
quired to make a replacement key.
You will need this code to ask an au-
thorised service centre to make a re-
placement key.
〉This number must be given to the
owner when buying or leasing the ve-
hicle.

Lock button
Press the lock button to lock all doors.
The indicators will blink once.
NOTICE
If the indicators do not ash when lock-
ing the doors, check that all doors and
the boot lid are fully closed.
Unlock button
Press the unlock button to unlock all
doors. The indicators will blink twice.
〉You can set the unlocking mode in
【Vehicle Settings】→【Body】→
【Door Lock】via the multimedia
screen.
If it is set to【Driver Only】, when the
unlock button is pressed, only the driv-
er’s door will be unlocked. At that
point, if the unlock button is pressed
again, all doors will be unlocked.
If it is set to【Four Doors Unlock】,

when you press the unlock button, all
doors will be unlocked.
Boot lid control button
When the power supply mode is OFF,
the boot lid can be unlocked by pressing
and holding the boot lid control button.
After unlocking, press the boot lid micro
switch within 30 seconds to open the
boot lid. For an electric sensor boot lid,
pressing and holding the boot lid control
button will open or close the electric
sensor boot lid.
Car search
When all the doors and the boot lid are
locked and the anti-theft system is on,
press the lock button twice to turn on
car search function to quickly nd your
vehicle in car parks and other places.
Pressing the lock button again will
switch o the search function.
NOTICE
Go to 【Vehicle Settings】→【Light-
ing】→【Parked Car Alert Mode】 on
the multimedia display to set the vehi-
cle alert status when car search is trig-
gered.
CAUTION
〉You must not change the transmit-
ting frequency or increase the trans-
mitting power rating (including by
adding a radio-frequency power am-
plier) and must not connect an ex-
ternal antenna or adapt any other
aerial.
〉Your usage must not interfere with
any legal radio communications op-
eration. If any interference occurs,
usage should be stopped and meas-
ures taken to eliminate the interfer-
ence before usage continues.
〉Usage may be aected by various ra-
dio devices, causing brief interrup-
tions in function.
Battery replacement
WARNING
The vehicle key contains a button bat-
tery.
〉The button battery built into the ve-
hicle key is dangerous. Both new and
old batteries must be kept away from
children at all times.
〉If swallowed or inserted into any part
of the body, the button battery can
cause severe or fatal injury within
two hours or less.
〉If it is suspected that the battery has
been swallowed or that it has been
inserted into any part of the body,
seek immediate medical attention.
〉Dispose of used batteries in accord-
ance with local laws. Incorrect dis-
posal of used batteries may cause
environmental damage.
CAUTION
〉During this operation, be sure to
