Hagerman Amplification warrants this prod ct free of defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of 10 years (90 days t bes). If yo discover a defect,
Hagerman Amplification will, at its option, repair or replace the prod ct at no charge to
yo provided yo ret rn it d ring the warranty period, transportation charges prepaid
to Hagerman Amplification. This warranty does not apply if the prod ct has been
damaged by negligence, accident, ab se or mis se or misapplication, has been damaged
beca se it has been improperly connected to other eq ipment or has been modified
witho t the express written permission of Hagerman Amplification. This warranty is
limited to the replacement or repair of this prod ct and not to damage to eq ipment of
other man fact rers. Any applicable implied warranties, incl ding warranty of
merchantability, are limited in d ration to a period of the express warranty as provided
herein beginning with the original date of p rchase and no warranties, whether express

Descripti n
The OVERDRIVE is a bo tiq e all-analog vac m t be pedal with eno gh gain to p sh
itself into classic preamp-style overdrive, delivering warm, fat, cr nchy, and rich tones.
Primarily designed for st dio se, this pedal offers s perb signal-to-noise performance,
implements tr e-bypass, and provides a b ffered o tp t capable of driving long cables
or other pedals with ease.
This is not a clone or copy of a vintage design; it is new from scratch sing the best
materials and components available, incl ding metal film resistors and polypropylene
capacitors. A b ilt-in low noise boost converter provides high voltage for proper t be
bias and operation, ins ring maxim m performance. A high-c rrent +9V wall wart is
incl ded.
Eq alization and gain are flat when controls are set to center, allowing for a wide range
of operation and tonality. For lower gain, other t bes can be s bstit ted, s ch as the
5751, 12AT7, or 12AY7.

Operati n
As with all t be amplifiers, OVERDRIVE takes approximately 30 seconds to warm p and
start working.
For clean tones, set all controls to center. Adj st DRIVE to get dirty overdrive tones,
while t rning down LEVEL to compensate vol me. BASS and TREBLE controls are placed
after the overdriven second stage and offer p tr ly flat response when centered. There
is no inherent midrange dip or peak; each string pl ck will respond with eq al a thority.
Warnings
Do not spill liq ids onto pedal. If this happens, immediately npl g nit from power
s pply. Remove t be, then rinse or soak assembly in 91% isopropyl alcohol for several
min tes ( p to an ho r if the beer had dried). Allow 24 ho rs to dry.
Do not se a standard negative 9V pedal power s pply. This nit ses positive 9V and
also req ires high c rrent (500mA).
