RF ALIGNMENT
The localoscillatoroperates 24.5MC above the centerfrequency of each TV channel. Tosetthe localoscillator
a separate "BFO" generator setat 24. SMC Is used to obtain a zero, beat with this differencefrequency.
Couple the "BFO" generator tothe receiver by connecting the outputlead toa coll of hookup wire wrapped around
the video detectortube (V8). Setthe fine tuningcontrol tothe center of Its capacityrange.

6. Removefour 11/32" hex nutsholdingspeaker.Removespeaker.

VERTICAL SWEEPCIRCUIT ADJUSTMENT
1. Turn the verticalcentering and heightcontrols so testpatternfills mask properly inthe
vertical plane.
2. Adjust the verticallinearitycontrol for proper vertical symmetry of testpattern.Slight
readjustment at verticalcentering and height controls maybe necessary.
HORIZONTALSWEEPCIRCUIT ADJUSTMENT
1. Turn the horizontal drive adjustment (Bl) clockwise asfaras possiblewithoutcrowding the right
hand side ofthe test pattern. Insufficient horizontal drive willcause the raster to fallshort
of filling the maskhorizontally.
If itisnot possible to "hold" the testpatternhorizontally by adjustment ofthe horizontal
hold control, setthe horizontalholdcontrol atthe midpoint ofits rotation and adjust the
horizontaloscillatoradjustmentscrew (B2) until picture "sync" horizontally.
2. Adjust the horizontalcenteringcontrol andthe width adjustment (B3) untiltestpattern fills
the maskproperly inthe horizontalplane.
3.Setthe horizontal linearity adjustment (B4) sothe testpattern is symmetricalfromleft
to right. Slightreadjustment ofthe horizontal drive trimmer (Bl) maybe necessarywhen
making this adjustment.
