Prior to brewing your HOCl, measure the pH of your water using
Halogen pH test strips. If pH is 7 or higher, add 2 teaspoons of distilled
white vinegar to adjust the pH between 5-6.5.
Button Sequence for operation below:
Test the hypochlorous acid concentration with the Halogen test strips
to confirm desired concentration. Now your Hypochlorous Acid is
ready to use. Just turn on the fogger and start disinfecting.
•Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a form of active chlorine at a
pH range between 4-6. Adding vinegar lowers the pH
increasing yield and potency of disinfectant solution.
•Filtered water is recommended to extend product life.
•Low concentration solution is safe for use on foods. Rinse
food thoroughly after application.
•Store in dark, cool place in a glass or plastic container. Do
not store solution in the Halogen Purify. Use Halogen test
strips before each use to ensure the solution is ready for
application.
See website for a complete list of uses and additional
information:

HOCl & pH:
Notes on HOCl (Hypochlorous Acid):
Note: If your electrolyzed solution is between a 4-7 pH
then Hypochlorous Acid has been produced. If it is above
that parameter, you will have Bleach.
Halogen Purify Operation Notes:
Follow all instructions and safety precautions to ensure safe operation.
