INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Note: Please read and follow these instructions before using your unit.
1. Read these instructions. Keep these instructions. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions.
2. Do not use this apparatus near water.
3. Clean only with dry cloth.
. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
5. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
6. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A
grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the
provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
7. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from
the apparatus.
8. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
9. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.
When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
10. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
11. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in
any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
12. Grounding or Polarization – This product may be equipped with a polarized alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider
than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the
outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the
safety purpose of the polarized plug.
13. Alternate Warnings – This product is equipped with a three-wire ground-type plug, a plug having a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only
into a grounding-type power outlet. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician to
replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding-type plug.
1 . Ventilation – Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it
from overheating, and these openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on
a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless
proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer’s instructions have been adhered to.
15. The MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

20. The mains plug is used as disconnect device. The mains plug of apparatus should not be obstructed OR should be easily accessed
during intended use. To be completely disconnect the power input, the mains plug or apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains.
21. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
22. Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphone can cause hearing loss.

AC OPERATION
Before operation, please make sure that the VOLTAGE mentioned on the unit is same as the
voltage of your local area. Unravel the AC power cord, insert one end into the AC socket on the
set, and the other end into a standard AC outlet.
ATTENTION
1. Do not plug or unplug the power cable while you have wet hands.
2. When planning not to use this unit for a long time, disconnect the power cable from the wall
outlet.
3. When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, do not pull on the cord in order to
avoid shock risks caused by damaged cable.
BATTERY OPERATION
Disconnect the AC cord set completely. Open the battery compartment door and insert 6 pieces
UM-2 "C" size batteries into the battery compartment with battery polarity as shown inside the
battery compartment.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
1. Slide the FUNCTION switch to BT/AUX position and then the Bluetooth indicator will flash
2. Turn on your Bluetooth of your Bluetooth device and search the speaker for connection.
Your Bluetooth device should find “HX- 09R HANNLOMAX”.
3. The Bluetooth indicator will be stay lighted if connection is successful.
. Select and play the audio file though your Bluetooth device.
5. Press the SKIP + button to skip to the next track.
6. Press the SKIP - button to go back to the previous track.
7. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to temporarily stop playing and press the PLAY/PAUSE
button again to resume playing.
8. Adjust the sound level by rotating the VOLUME control.
9. To stop Bluetooth operation, disconnect your Bluetooth device.
Auto Bluetooth Paring
Once the unit paired with the Bluetooth device, it will automatically pair with that device next
time when you turn on the unit and that Bluetooth device.
AUX-IN CONNECTION
1. Slide the FUNCTION switch to BT/AUX position..
2. Insert one side of the audio cable (requires 3.5mm stereo plug, not supplied) into the
line-out jack or phones jack on your MP3 player or audio device and the other side to the
aux-in jack on the unit.
3. Turn on your audio MP3 player or audio device and follow its playback instructions.
. Adjust the sound level by rotating the VOLUME control.
5. To turn off this function, simply turned off your MP3 player.

LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1. Slide the FUNCTION switch to RADIO position.
2. Slide the BAND switch to the desired radio band ( AM / FM ).
3. Rotate the TUNING control to your desired radio station.
. For FM, fully extend the FM antenna to receive best reception.
5. For AM, the unit has a built-in antenna, rotate the unit to obtain best reception.
6. Adjust the sound level by rotating the VOLUME control.
7. To turn off the radio, set the FUNCTION switch to OFF position.
PLAYING MP3 FILES THROUGH SD CARD READER OR USB PORT
1. Slide the FUNCTION switch to USB/SD position
2. Insert your SD card into the SD Card Reader or plug in your USB device to the USB slot.
3. The unit will start reading the MP3 files in the device and will start playing the MP3 files
. Adjust the sound level by rotating the VOLUME control.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to temporarily stop playing and press the PLAY/PAUSE
button again to resume playing.
6. Press the SKIP + button to skip to the next track.
7. Press the SKIP - button to go back to the previous track.
8. Press the FOLDER UP button to go to the next folder.
9. Press the FOLDER DN button to go back to the previous folder.
10. While you are playing the device in the USB slot, if you insert the SD card into the SD card
reader, the unit will stop playing the MP3 file in the USB slot and start playing the MP3 file
in the SD card and vice versa.
11. Press the USB/SD button to select playback the file from USB slot or SD card reader.
12. Press the MODE button to select the play mode in the following sequence.
Repeat ONE Repeat ALL Repeat FOLDER Normal Play.
Repeat ONE – repeat the track being played. (Display will show ONE )
Repeat ALL – repeat the tracks in the entire album/folder ( Dislpay will show ALL )
Repeat FOLDER – repeat all the tracks in the storage device. ( Display will show FOL )
Normal – play the tracks in sequence.( Display will show OFF)
13. To turn off this function, simply turned off your MP3 player.
Note:
Because of non-standardized format definition/production of MP3 format, playback quality &
performance are not guaranteed.
Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of MP3 in any case due to recording
conditions such as PC performance, writing software, media ability and etc.
