INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Note: Please read and ollow these instructions be ore using your unit.
1. Read these instructions. Keep these instructions. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions.
2. Do not use this apparatus near water.
3. Clean only with dry cloth.
4. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manu acturer’s instructions.
5. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampli iers)
that produce heat.
6. Do not de eat the sa ety purpose o the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one
wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third
prong are provided or your sa ety. I the provided plug does not it into your outlet, consult an electrician or
replacement o the obsolete outlet.
7. Protect the power cord rom being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit rom the apparatus.
8. Only use attachments/accessories speci ied by the manu acturer.
9. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table speci ied by the manu acturer, or sold
with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus
combination to avoid injury rom tip-over.
10. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused or long periods o time.
11. Re er all servicing to quali ied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus
has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have
allen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been
dropped.
12. Grounding or Polarization – This product may be equipped with a polarized alternating-current line plug (a plug having
one blade wider than the other). This plug will it into the power outlet only one way. This is a sa ety eature. I you are
unable to insert the plug ully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. I the plug should still ail to it, contact your
electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not de eat the sa ety purpose o the polarized plug.
13. Alternate Warnings – This product is equipped with a three-wire ground-type plug, a plug having a third (grounding)
pin. This plug will only into a grounding-type power outlet. This is a sa ety eature. I you are unable to insert the plug
into the outlet, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not de eat the sa ety purpose o the
grounding-type plug.
14. Ventilation – Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided or ventilation and to ensure reliable operation o the
product and to protect it rom overheating, and these openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should
never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, so a, rug, or other similar sur ace. This product should not be
placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manu acturer’s
instructions have been adhered to.
15. The MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily
operable.

20. The mains plug is used as disconnect device. The mains plug o apparatus should not be obstructed OR should be
easily accessed during intended use. To be completely disconnect the power input, the mains plug or apparatus shall
be disconnected rom the mains.
21. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, ire or the like.
22. Excessive sound pressure rom earphones and headphone can cause hearing loss.

C NNECTING THE UNIT T P WER
Plug one end o the AC adaptor into the DC power Input, and then plug the other end into AC
wall outlet. Be ore switching on the unit, make sure that the voltage o your electricity supply is
the same as that indicated on the rating plate.
BATTERY PERATI N
Disconnect the AC Cord Set completely. Open the Battery Compartment Door and insert 4
pieces UM-3 "AA" size batteries into the battery compartment with battery polarity as shown
inside the battery compartment.
TURN N THE UNIT
Press the P WER/FUNC button to turn on the unit and select di erent unction.

LISTENING T THE AM/FM RADI
1. Press the P WER/FUNC button to select FM or AM radio mode.
2. Rotate the TUNING knob to tune to the desired radio stations.
3. Rotate the V LUME knob to adjust to your desired listening sound level.
ANTENNA
For best reception, ully extend the FM wire antenna to receive FM stations. For AM reception,
the unit has a built-in antenna, turn the whole unit or best reception.
BLUET TH PERATI N
Connecting BLUET TH
1. Press the P WER/FUNC button to select BLUET TH mode, ‘bt ‘ will show in the display
or a ew seconds..
2. Turn on the Bluetooth o your device and search the unit or connection. Your Bluetooth
device should ind “HX-500CR HANNL MAX”. Select this or connection.
3. I connection is success ul, your Bluetooth device may show Bluetooth is connected.
4. Select and play the audio ile though your Bluetooth device.
5. To turn o the BLUETOOTH operation, press the P WER/FUNC button or select other
mode.
AUTO PAIRING
Once the unit paired with the Bluetooth device, it will automatically pair with that device next time
when you turn on the unit and that Bluetooth device.

AUX IN C NNECTI N
1. Insert one side o the audio cable (requires 3.5mm stereo plug, not supplied) into the
LINE-OUT or PHONE jack on your MP3 player or audio device and the other side to the
aux-in jack on the unit.
2. Press the P WER/FUNC button to select AUX mode, “AUX” will display in the LCD display
or a ew seconds.
3. Turn on your MP3 player and ollow the playback instruction.
4. Rotate the V LUME knob to adjust to your desired listening sound level.
5. To stop this unction, simply turned o your MP3 player.
PLAYING MP3 FILES WITH USB DEVICE
1. Press the POWER/FUNC button to select the USB mode, “USB” will appear on the LCD.
2. Plug your USB device into the USB port on the unit, the unit will start reading the iles in the
USB device, and play the irst track in your USB device.
3. LCD display will show the track played time
4. Press the SKIP+ button to go to the next track.
5. Press the SKIP− button to go back to the previous track.
6. During playing, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to temporarily pause playing. To resume,
press the PLAY/PAUSE button again.
7. Rotate the V LUME knob to adjust to your desired listening sound level.
8. Press and hold the M DE/10+/PR G button to skip advance 10 tracks.
PLAY M DE
Press the M DE/10+/PR G to select the
di erent kinds o play mode with the
ollowing sequence.
Repeat 1 Repeat All Normal
Repeat 1 – repeat the track
being played.
Repeat All – repeat all the tracks in the storage media.
Normal – play the tracks in sequence.
PR GRAMMING
1. The programming should be done in ST P mode.
2. Press the M DE/10+/PR G button, The LCD display will show P01 and PROG blinking.
3. Press the SKIP+ or SKIP− button to select the track.
4. Press the M DE/10+PR G button to store the track in the memory and the display will
show P02.
5. Repeat Step 2 & 3 to store more tracks in the memory.
6. Up to 20 tracks can store in the memory. I memory is ull, LCD will show “– – “.
7. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing in the programmed order.
8. To stop playing, press the ST P button.
9. To cancel the programming list, press the P WER/FUNC button to select our unction.
