5 Components and functions
1 Connector for external power supply, e.g. a 9 V AC/DC adapter. If this connection is
used, the battery is automatically disconnected from the circuitry.
2BASS INPUT
1/4" phone socket for a standard instrument cable.
3PARALLEL OUT
Output socket. Use a standard instrument cable to feed the unprocessed signal to a
monitor.
4 The foot switch toggles the effect on / off.
5OUTPUT
Output socket. Use a standard instrument cable to connect this outlet to another
effects pedal or directly to an amplifier.
6ACTIVE
This LED lights up when the effects pedal is active. If the LED is not lit or just
glowing low during operation you have to replace the battery.

7XLR OUT
XLR mounting plug output. Use an XLR cable to connect this output to an amplifier,
recording device or mixing console.
8LEVEL
Adjusts the effect level.
9GND LIFT
Ground potential switch. To eliminate hum noise caused by ground loops, use this
switch to disconnect the input signal ground potential from the ground potential
of the XLR output.
10 CONTOUR
Boosts treble and bass while lowering mids.
11 COLOR
Low-pass control to cut the high frequencies.
12 TREBLE, MIDDLE, BASS
Tone controls for high, mid and low frequencies.

13 BLEND
Use this control to adjust the effect level of the output signal.
14 DRIVE
Gain control to adjust the distortion.
Establish all connections as long as the unit is switched off. Use the shortest possible high-
quality cables for all connections.
You can either use a 9 V battery or the DC 9 V connection for an external power supply. Before
connecting, check for correct polarity.
When you do not use the pedal unplug the instrument cable from the input jack. Otherwise,
the battery will be discharged.
