Sliding Door Bracket Installation Instructions
Installation Instructions for Inside Track Doors
Tools Needed
●3/32“ drill bit
●Drill driver with Phillips head bit
●Pencil or marker
●(2) 3M VHB Tape (included)
Installation
1) Locate the position for the install of the sliding door bracket on the bottom of the sliding
glass door frame (the slider, not the fixed door). Make sure bracket is positioned so that
it will catch on the Haven Lock gate when the Haven is in the locked position. Once
proper position has been determined, mark your pilot holes on the door frame.
2) Using a 3/32“ drill bit, drill your pilot holes for your screws. Don’t apply too much
pressure as you don’t want to drill through the opposite side of the frame.
3) Attach (1) of the included 3M tape pieces to the back of the bracket (side to be screwed
into the door) for extra strength.

4) Using a Phillips head screwdriver (or a drill driver with a Phillips head bit) screw the
bracket into the door frame.
5) Close the sliding door and ensure proper clearance and spacing of the bracket when the
Haven is both locked and unlocked.
6) Close the sliding door so that it is in the completely closed position.
7) Place the door stop in the far top left corner of the sliding door so that it rests against
both the side frame and the top frame. Ensure that it is flush to both frames (see pic
below). Mark your pilot holes on the door frame.
8) Using a 3/32“ drill bit, drill your pilot holes for your screws. Don’t apply too much
pressure as you don’t want to drill through the opposite side of the frame.
9) Attach the remaining piece of the included 3M tape to the back of the door stop (side to
be screwed into the door) for extra strength.
10) Using a Phillips head screwdriver (or a drill driver with a Phillips head bit) screw the door
stop into the door frame. Once installed, the door stop ensures that the sliding door will
not rock when the bottom bracket engages the Haven Lock, possibly causing it to fail.

11) Test the sliding door with the bracket and the Haven Lock in the locked position. The
bracket should catch and there should be little to no rocking of the door.
12) You have successfully installed your sliding door bracket kit and your Haven is now
ready for use on your sliding glass door!!
