Connecting With Your Computer
1.Turn your computeron.
2.Insertthe USBinterface of HV-KB378LmechanicalkeyboardintoaUSB port of your
computer (mechanicalkeyboardmay requiremorepower to run, thereforebetter choose
theUSB port locating on thebackofthe chassisinstead of thoseonthe front).
3.Wait 1minute, andyourkeyboardwill automaticallyregisteredbyyour computerwith
no extradriverneeded.

The keyboard supports 10 differentbacklits. Pressthe keycombination FN+INS
to switch between thedifferent modes. The10modes displayone afteranother as the
following by each pressofFN+INS.
LEDBacklit Adjustment:
1. Always on mode:
1)Press“FN+INS”toget into Always on mode

3)PressFN+“↑”“↓”toadjustthe backlitbrightnessFourbrightnesslevelsavailable.
2. Single colorbreathing mode:
1)Press“FN+INS”toswitchtosinglecolor breathingmode;
2)Press“FN +DEL” to switch thecolor of backlit 7colorsadjustable);
3)PressFN+“↑”“↓”toadjustthe brightness;
4)PressFN+“←”“→”to adjust thebreathingrate.
3. Pro-gamermode:
1)PressFN+“INS”toswitchtoPro-gamer mode, only9keysW,A,S,D ESC,“↑"“↓”“←”“→”
is defaulttobelighted.
2)Gaming defaultbacklit;5sets of lighting modesfor gaming PressFN+(1~5)toswitch.

GamerCustomSettings:
Alltheselightingmodes areavailablefor editing, press“FN+HOME” in currentmode. The
threeindicator lights of NUM,CAPSLK andPAUSE �lashes. Then youare free to edit every
single key(pressthe same keyagain to chooseoptimal colorfor it). Press“FN+HOME”
once more when editingisfinished.The threeindicator lights stop �lashingand return to
work.

4. 7-colorbreathing mode:
1)Press“FN+INS”switchto7-colorbreathingmode, colors automaticallychangefrom
onetoanother when breathing.
2)Press FN+“↑”“↓”toadjustthe brightness.
3)Press FN+“←”“→”toadjustthe breathingrateofcolor.
5. On-clickkey lighting mode:
1)Press“FN+INS”toswitchtoOn-clickkey lighting mode.Onlythosekeyspressed will be
lighted,andthe colorisrandomatfirst.
2)Press“FN +DEL” to change thecolor.8modesincycle.
3)Press FN+“↑”“↓”toadjustthe backlitbrightness.
6. Single-color or Mixedcolor �lowing mode:
1)Press“FN+INS”toswitchtoSingle-colororMixed color �lowing mode: Backlit �lows
from left to right.
2)Press“FN +DEL” to switch thecolor.
3)Press FN+“←”“→”toadjustthe �lowingrate.
7. Running forth andback modem:
1)Press FN+“INS”toswitchtothis mode ,inwhich, keys will be lightedand laterbeoff
key-by-key androw-by-row(Colorofeachkey is random).
2)Press“FN +DEL” to adjust thecolor of backlit;
3)Press FN+“↑”“↓”toadjustthe brightness;
4)Press FN+“←”“→”toadjustthe runningrate.
8. Ripple spreading mode:
1) PressFN+“INS”, thekey youpressed will be set to be thecentral point, then colors will
spread around as ripple.
2)Press“FN +DEL” to change colors.
3)Press FN+“←”“→”toadjustthe spreadingrate.
4)Press FN+“↑”“↓”toadjustthe backlitbrightness.

9. On-clickzonelighting mode：
1)Press“FN +INS”toget into On-clickzonelightingmodethe keyyou pressedwillbeset
as thecentral point, other keys surroundingitwillbealsolighted forawhile.
2)Press“FN +DEL”tochangecolors.
3Press FN+“↑”“↓”toadjustthe backlitbrightness.
10. Multi-colorflowing mode:
Multi-color1Press “FN+INS” to switch to �lowingmode,backlit in mixedcolor �low
from left to right.
2)Press“FN +DEL”toswitchthe direction of �lowing
3)PressFN+“←”“→”toadjustthe �lowing speed.Press FN+“←”to adjusttothe lowest
speed to stop �lowing.
Press“FN+Esc”toset thethree-color(Green/Red /Blue).The colors change one
by one, andthen fall back to themodethatwas setpreviously.
Press“FN+PRTSC”toturnoff allthe backlight.
PAUSEPress“FN+ ”toturnON/OFFthe blue LEDS on thetop.

thoseonthe front
4.CheckUSB hubfor foreign objects or dust
5.Unplug andreinsert theUSB connector
6.Restartthe computer.
