1. GENERAL INFORMATION
This User Manual will provide important information
concerning the Drester GP 24 by Hedson (GP 24), and
will describe how to use the Wheel Washer safely. Read
the entire User Manual before using the unit. For safe
use, it is important that the unit is handled properly. It
is important that you follow the instructions carefully.
Please refer carefully to all pictures in the end of this
document for a complete understanding.
2. PURPOSE OF THE MACHINE
This machine is designed for cleaning of vehicle wheels
i.e. the tyre and rim assembly. Any other area of use is
prohibited.
PLEASE NOTE: A flat tyre cannot be cleaned in the
machine as it will not rotate properly.
This high quality piece of equipment for professional
users increases the service level and the efficiency in the
workshop.
The wheel washer cleans the wheels with an
environmentally friendly cleaning method. Plastic beads
(shot medium) and water are blasted onto the rim with
low pressure, ensuring a gentle and thorough cleaning
for all kinds of rims. The dynamic flush pipe moves
slowly over the rim outside during the cleaning process
and reaches every spot on the rim, especially good
for cleaning high polished alloy rims, big tyres (SUV,
transporters), and more sophisticated rims.
The GP 24 Wheel Washer cleans the wheels in an
environmentally friendly way. The machine works with
a closed water system, and the water consumption per
washed wheel is very low, approximately 1 L/wheel. The
plastic beads and water clean the wheel thoroughly yet
gently and no detergents or chemicals are needed. GP
24 Wheel Washer can be used with an optional water
cleaning system.
3. SAFETY INFORMATION
Hazards may arise from improper use of the GP 24. In
order to maintain the high safety standard of the unit, it
is important that these instructions are followed.
• Do not operate the unit until you have read and fully
understood this entire User Manual.
• The unit should be installed as described in the
instructions.
• The unit should be used as described in the
instructions.
• The unit should be maintained as described in the
instructions.
• Only original spare parts must be used.
• This User Manual must be available and in legible
condition in close proximity to the unit. Every user
should know where to find the User Manual.
• Operating instructions should be formulated on the
basis of this User Manual for GP 24, and translated
into the language spoken by the employees.
• Do not modify or in any way alter the unit.
• Wear goggles or similar, to protect your eyes from
splashing water.
• It is absolute vital to sweep the floor regularly to
avoid risk for a slippery floor (see picture 11).
• When using equipment that handles warm water,
there is a risk of harmful bacterium emerging (water-
and/or airborne diffusion), especially if the water has
been left non-operative in the machine for a while.
We therefore recommend the following procedures:
• By adding a bactericide to the water in the
washing compartment (art.no. 230521, 2 litre per
300 litre water)
• To empty out the water of the machine when not
using it.
• Caution: Before removing the MotorCompartment-
Cover (see picture 3), make sure to disconnect the
power supply and the airline supplying compressed
air (see picture 4) to the machine.
• Caution:The MotorCompartmentCover (see picture
3) may only be removed by authorized personnel
due to exposure of moving parts and easy access to
electrical parts.
• This EU model may not be sold in North America.
4. DETERGENT
There is a special detergent developed for this Wheel
Washer if required. Article number: BIO-291
PLEASE NOTE: Warranty is void if a non-approved
detergent or chemical is used in the machine.
5. SHOT MEDIUM
The DoublePower shot medium mixture of plastic beads
that is blasted onto the wheel to clean it is carefully
designed to give the best possible washing result
without damaging the rims. It has specially adapted
floating properties, degrees of hardness and wearing
qualities. The DoublePower shot medium can be
ordered using the number 230794 (bag containing 20
kg). In an empty Wheel washer 20 kg Shot medium is
needed.
PLEASE NOTE: Warranty is void if non approved plastic
beads are used in the machine.

6. INSTALLATION
• First of all, check if the machine has been damaged
during the transport. If so, report this immediately to
the transport-company.
• Remove the packaging and check again that the
machine has not been damaged during the transport.
If so, report this immediately to the transport
company.
• The machine must be lifted from the right side, where
the service lid is placed.
PLEASE NOTE: The forklift must reach all the way under
the machine (see picture 1) and under the crossbeam
(see picture 2).
• Make sure there is adequate space for the machine to
operate (see picture 14).The machine requires 2 x 3,5
meters when used with two trolleys. For every extra
trolley the machine requires two meters extra (see
picture 14).
• The floor space must be even and horizontal in all
directions where the machine will operate.
• Connect compressed air of max 12 bar (174 psi) and
min 8 bar (120 psi). The connector is placed on the
right side of the unit (see picture 4). Make sure that
the air feed line to the machine is large enough to
avoid pressure drop.
• Open the door and remove the shot medium basket
(see picture 17). Put the basket aside for use later
when changing the water (see chapter 12). Empty the
enclosed bag with shot medium completely into the
machine.
• To the below left in the wash room there is a red
water level indicator (see picture 12) with two
notches. Fill the machine with water, so that the shot
medium level is within the lower notch (see picture
13) of the indicator.
PLEASE NOTE: Correct water level is extremely
important (see chapter 12).
• The machine is equipped with phase recognition
which will prevent the pump motor and rotation
motor from running in the wrong direction. If phases
are connected incorrectly, the machine will be
disabled until phases are switched. This is shown in
the LCD with title PHASE ERROR.
• If one or two of three phases are missing, the machine
will recognize this and the title PHASE MISSING will
be shown.
• In case any of these problems occur, they must be
corrected by a professional electrician.
• If there is a risk of temperature below 0ºC, the
machine must be emptied of water. Otherwise the
pump as well as the bottom tray will be damaged if
the water freezes.
7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Turn on the red/yellow main switch (see picture 3).
2. Place the wheels in the trolley (see picture 15).
Check that the wheels stand straight and lean on the
supports on the left with the outside of the rim facing
right, to avoid damaging the rim.
PLEASE NOTE: Decoration covers i.e. plastic centre
cap and valve caps must be removed before washing
the wheel (see picture 7). This may cause operational
disturbances if falling off during the wash cycle (see
chapter 19).
Wheels with surfaces protruding more than 13 mm
(1/2”) beyond the tyre, are under no circumstances to
be washed in the Wheel Washer (see picture 8). The
protruding surfaces can be damaged.
3. Move the trolley to the machine. Place the trolley so
that the second wheel support is placed to the right of
the lid (see picture 22).
4. When the trolley stands in position and is pressed
towards the machine, the display will show the picture
below and the machine will automatically lower the
guide rail and lock the trolley to the machine then the
trolley is moved one stop to the left.
If the trolley is placed too far to the left, picture below
will be shown on the display and the trolley must be
moved to the right.
If the trolley is placed too far to the right, picture
below will be shown on the display and the trolley
must be moved to the left.
5. Start the machine (see chapter 11.3) by pressing one
of the operation buttons.
6. When the machine is washing a wheel from a
trolley, another trolley can be connected to the
first one (maximum of 4 trolleys can be connected
all together). This allows the machine to continue
washing without interruption. Please note that when
the trolley is moving no trolley may be connected.
7. When the last wheel on the trolley is washed and fed
out from the machine, the guide rail is lifted and the
trolley is disconnected from the machine. The display
will show the picture below and the trolley needs to
be removed from the machine.
Finally, always check that there are no shot medium left
on the rim before it is mounted onto the car.

8. RUNNING-IN
When the machine is new, the inside surface of the
pump and pipes will be smoothened and fragments
of the shot medium will disengage. An extra change
of water and rinse of the machine after 100 washes is
therefore strongly recommended. The shot medium
should then also be rinsed with water while they are
collected in the basket.
9. ALARM
Three types of alarms can occur in the machine, A-, B- or
C-types.
Type A-alarm: The machine will stop immediately and
the error code and description will be shown on the
display. The error must be corrected before trying to
start again.
Type B-alarm: The machine will still be able to operate
but the specific function i.e. immersion heater will be
turned off.
Type C-alarm: The machine will stop immediately and
the error code and description will be shown on the
display. To correct a C-alarm the machine needs to be
turned OFF, otherwise the machine will not be able to
restart.
Example: If emergency stop is pressed this screen will
be shown with error code and a short description.
Pressing enter will show an instruction to turn off
machine and correct the error.
When the machine is turned on again STOP-button
needs to be pressed for 3-seconds to confirm that the
error is corrected.

10. FUNCTIONS ON THE CONTROL PANEL
10.1 LCD DISPLAY
10.2 SHOT MEDIUM COLLECTION
The water should be changed every 300 wash cycle.
To do this, press the shot medium collection button to
collect the beads.
MACHINES WITHOUT WATER CLEANING: Press the
shot medium collection button. The machine will
automatically start collecting the shot medium. See
chapter 12 for instructions of changing the water.
MACHINES EQUIPPED WITH WATER CLEANING: If your
machine is equipped with the water cleaning kit, there
are two choices after the shot medium collection button
has been pressed.
You can now choose between shot medium collection
and water cleaning. The shot medium collection is pre-
defined.
By starting this, just press ENTER again. See chapter 12
for instructions of changing the water.
After the shot medium collection is finished, the water
cleaning icon will be pre-marked. Press ENTER to start
this session, or BACK or STOP to abort.
PLEASE NOTE: Always turn off the main switch before
emptying out the water in the machine!
10.3 STOP
STOP aborts wash programs and take the user to main
screen from settings. After a C-alarm, the STOP-button
needs to be pressed for 3 seconds to reset the machine.

The machine is default set at wheel dimensions up to 20”.
Washing wheels larger than 20”, or SUV-wheels, press the
button. An icon showing that SUV-mode is activated will
now show up in the LCD.
In SUV-mode, the dynamic arm will make a larger sweep
to clean the bigger rim area. The SUV-mode will automat-
ically cancel after four wheels have been washed.
If you wish to cancel the SUV-mode, just press the button
again. The STD/SUV icon up in the LCD will now disap-
pear and the machine is optimized for standard wheels.
To keep the SUV mode, press the button during 4 sec.
10.6 SETTINGS
The Settings mode enables you to view and change
advanced system parameters. Thanks to our
sophisticated control system in this wheel washer many
settings can be altered. This is normally not a part of the
everyday use.
To enter settings, press the button on the user panel.
10.7 LID CONTROLS
These buttons opens or closes the lid.
11. USER INTERFACE
11.1 BASIC NAVIGATION
• The display shows four software defined options in
the bottom field.
• To adjust values, use the operation buttons. Usually
the furthest right is ENTER or NEXT and the left is
BACK or CANCEL.
• You can always abort by pressing the STOP-button.
11.2 MAIN SCREEN
11.3 WASH PROGRAMS
• Start a wash cycle by pressing
one of the operation buttons
• If a trolley is connected to
the machine it will start by
loading a wheel into the
machine.
• The machine will start
and display the chosen
wash cycle together with a
wash icon. When washing
is finished, blowing and
CleanRinse will start.
• If a trolley is connected, the
machine will unload the
washed wheel, move the
trolley and load a new wheel
that should be washed.
• PLEASE NOTE: If 300 washes
are exceeded, a warning
will flash alternately with
the checkmark after finished
washing cycle.
• The machine will also remind
the user of checking water
level since this is important
for the wash performance.
This is done by flashing
an icon of the water level
indicator alternately with the
checkmark.
11.4 EDIT WASH SETTINGS
The wash programs are editable
– times of wash, CleanRinse and
air blow time. Hold the wash
program button pressed down
for 3 seconds for the program
that should be edited. The
screen WASH SETTINGS will
show up. Use the operation
buttons to increase or decrease
the time.
Increasing the CleanRinse-time
should be done with caution. A
longer time will consume more
tap water. The CleanRinse can
be turned off by decreasing the
time until OFF is shown in LCD.

11.5.1 STATISTICS
STATISTICS Totals
The machine logs total number
of washes, total operated time
and total number of shot
medium collections.
STATISTICS Energy
The machine is equipped with
an advanced current monitoring
system which makes it possible
to determine the consumption
of the pump motor.
This is shown as an average
consumption/wash and is
automatically reset every time
the machine is cleaned. The
value is different depending
on how long the average wash
cycle is.
STATISTICS 7 days
The machine can also identify
the amount of use during the
last seven days, illustrated in
a graph. This can be used for
identifying peaks in work load.
11.5.2 WATER CHANGE
If the CleanRinse is being used
in the machine, the water change
intervals may be increased to
approx. 400 washes.
11.5.3 WORK HOURS/
INTELLIGENT HEATER
The GP 24 is equipped with
an intelligent water heating
system that saves up to 50%
more energy than a traditional
thermostat controlled heater.
Enter the time for when the
machine should be ready for
washing in the morning, the
time for when the machine is
no longer used in the afternoon
and which weekdays the
schedule should be active.
The machine will then
automatically start heating
the water in time so that it is
at desired temperature at the
“STARTTIME”. The machine is
default set at 7:00-16:00, MON-
FRI. This means that the water
will be at operation temperature
between these hours.
If intelligent heating for some
reason isn’t desired, set the time
schedule from 00:00-00:00,
MON-SUN and the heater will
keep the water warm 24 hours,
7 days a week.

11.5.4 WATER TEMPERATURE/
HEATER
The water temperature is
adjustable between 30-50°C.
The heater can also be turned
off by decreasing temp until
OFF is shown in LCD.
The factory setting of the water
temperature is 45ºC. This value
may NOT be increased since the
water will be too hot and lead to
risk of burning injuries
11.5.5 TIME
It is important that time and
week day is correct since various
functions in the interface are
dependent on it.
11.5.6 FACTORY RESET
Use this to reset the machine
to factory standard. If you
accidentally entered the menu,
just press back or use the STOP-
button.
11.5.7 VERSION/MODEL
Shows what version of software
(SW) and hardware (HW) the
machine is using.
11.5.8 SELF TEST
The self test makes it possible to
run every function individually
in the machine. It is used i.e.
when new options are installed,
to control that they are working
properly. It can also be used for
troubleshooting the machine.
The self test should only be
used by authorized personnel.
11.5.9 ALARM LOG
The alarm log saves all error
codes. The errors will be
displayed in the LCD when they
occur. These error codes are
saved to an alarm log where
you can go back and see type of
error code, how many days ago
it occurred and the time.
See chapter 19 Trouble
Shooting, for error code list.
11.5.10 LANGUAGE SELECTION

12. CHANGE OF WATER
After washing 300 wheels, the water must be changed
and the machine cleaned.
PLEASE NOTE: If moving the unit filled with water, the
forklift must reach all the way under the machine (see
picture 1) and under the crossbeam (see picture 2).
1. Top up with water until the water level reaches the
upper notch of the red level indicator (see picture 12
and 13). Place the shot medium basket in the wash
compartment and close the door. PLEASE NOTE:
Place the shot medium basket with the side opening
to the left (see picture 17).
2. Press the shot medium collection button (see
chapter 10) and let the machine run until it stops
automatically
(approx. 5 min). Confirm that water level is raised
by pressing ENTER. If needed, run this shot medium
collecting program twice.
As the shot medium is collected in the basket, you
can easily check that you have the correct amount of
shot medium, by checking that the shot medium level
reaches the 20 kg marking on the side of the basket
(see picture 17). If this is not the case, top up with
more shot medium.
3. PLEASE NOTE: Always turn off the main switch
before emptying out the water in the machine!
Let the water out by putting the lower drain hose on
the floor (see picture 3). The waste water from this
machine should be let out through an oil separator.
If required, the machine can be equipped with an
environmentally friendly water cleaning and filtering
system. It will separate the waste and the water, so
that the water can be emptied into the drain. After
having used the Hedson Water cleaning system, the
waste water fulfils all water authority requirements.
Please contact your local water authorities for more
information about local limit values.
4. Remove the dirt sediment from the bottom of the
machine with a hand bailer and then rinse the
machine. PLEASE NOTE: The residues from the
machine must be handled as hazardous waste.
Put the shot medium back into the water by turning the
basket over inside the machine and top up with water
until the lower notch of the red level indicator is reached
(see picture 13).
PLEASE NOTE: Always turn off the main switch before
emptying out the water in the machine! The heater will
automatically be turned on again after starting a wash
cycle.

13. DAILY MAINTENANCE
(see picture 12 and 13)
The water level must be checked daily and adjusted
when needed. The machine will not operate properly if
the water level is wrong. It will wash less efficiently and
the risk of blocking the flush pipes will increase.
Check that no foam develops in the machine. This can
happen if you wash many wheels from cars that have
just been cleaned in automatic car washers. Likewise
foam can develop if you add detergents other than the
recommended (see chapter 4) to the water. Foam will
cause malfunction. The machine will wash less efficiently
and the risk of blocking the flush pipes will increase.
If shot medium is spilled on the floor it is absolute vital
to sweep the floor regularly to avoid risk of slippery
floor (see picture 11).
14. SERVICE
• Before removing the MotorCompartmentCover (see
picture 3), make sure to disconnect the power supply
and the airline supplying compressed air (see picture
4) to the machine.
• The MotorCompartmentCover (see picture 3) may
only be removed by authorized personnel due
to exposure of moving parts and easy access to
electrical parts.
15. IMMERSION HEATER
(See picture 20)
• The immersion heater default setting is scheduled
so that the water temperature is at operation
temperature between 07:00 and 16:00, Monday to
Friday (see chapter 11.5.3).
• The factory setting of the water temperature is 45ºC.
This value may NOT be increased since the water will
be too hot and lead to risk of burning injuries.
• PLEASE NOTE: Always turn off the main switch
before emptying out the water in the machine!
The heater will automatically be turned on again after
starting a wash cycle.
16. CLEANRINSE
The GP-24 is equipped with an extra cleaning feature,
rinsing the wheels with clean tap water after finished
wash cycle and before blowing starts.
If the CleanRinse is being used in the machine, the water
change intervals may be increased to approximately
400 washes.
CleanRinse can be turned off, see chapter 11.4.
17. WATER CLEANING AND WATER
HANDLING (OPTIONAL)
The dirt on the wheels that are washed in a Hedson
wheel washer is the dirt from our roads and cars. This
dirt might also contain heavy metal residuals, especially
copper from the brakes, zinc and nickel. The permitted
limit values differ locally. Please contact your local water
authority about the handling of the waste water.
The waste water from this machine should be let out
through an oil separator. If required, the machine can
be equipped with an environmentally friendly water
cleaning and filtering system.
Hedson Technologies AB has developed an easy and
effective waste water cleaning method. The method
consists of a coagulation powder (art.no. R12076) that
is added into the machine while stirring the water. The
coagulation powder binds the heavy metal particles
through flocculation and these bigger particles can be
filtered away (art.no. R12038 hose filter and
art.no. R12037 basket filter). The purified water fulfils all
limit values and authority requirements.
When using equipment that handles warm water, there
is a risk of harmful bacterium emerging (water- and/or
airborne diffusion), especially if the water has been left
non-operative in the machine for a while. We therefore
recommend the following procedures:
• By adding a bactericide to the water in the washing
compartment (art.no. 230521, 2 litre per 300 litre
water)
• To empty out the water of the machine when not
using it.
PLEASE NOTE: BIO-291 or any other detergent must
not be used in the machine when using the Hedson
water cleaning method!

19. TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
BAD CLEANING RESULT
First check if:
• the water level is correct (see chapter 13)
• there is foam in the water (see chapter 13)
• the water is regularly changed (see chapter 12)
• the amount of shot medium is correct (see chapter 12)
• original shot medium is being used (see chapter 5)
• foreign detergents has been used (see chapter 4)
Then check if:
• the flush pipes (see pictures 5 and 6) are blocked
• check that the shovels (see picture 16) are assembled
correctly
• the hoses connecting the pump with the flush pipes
have worked themselves loose from either the pump
or the flush pipes
• The dynamic flush pipe (see picture 6) is moving
(if not, contact your dealer)
If all the above items are correct, then contact your dealer
for examination of the internals in the pump. This could be
the case as the machine approaches 20,000 wash cycles.
FLUSH PIPES ARE BLOCKED
A flush pipe (see pictures 5 and 6) may be blocked for
the following reasons:
• A valve cap or other foreign object has got trapped
in the nozzle of the flush pipe
• The machine has been operating with too low water
level
• There is too much shot medium in the machine
• Non approved plastic beads has been used
• There is foam in the water because a non-approved
detergent has been used
• There is foam in the water because it is very dirty
To check if a flush pipe is blocked, put a finger or a piece
of soft hose into the nozzle (see picture 19). In case a
pipe is blocked, dismantle the shovel (see picture 18).
PLEASE NOTE: Left and right shovels are different from
each other, see picture 16. Do not mix them!
A mix up could lead to damages on wheels!
Remove the two M6 nuts, remove the rubber nozzle and
clear the blocked pipe by means of compressed air. If
needed, extend your air gun with the enclosed air hose
and work it all the way down towards the pump (see
picture 18 and 19).
Caution: Please read chapter 3, Safety Information
before removing the MotorCompartmentDoor.
Then start a short wash cycle to clean out the pipes and
finally fit the flush nozzle and shovel back into place.
If a valve cap or some other object blocks the pipes
repeatedly, this must be removed from the shot
medium. Again, it’s strongly recommend that the valve
cap is removed from the wheel before washing as it can
cause operational disturbances if it falls off during the
wash cycle (see chapter 7).

1. ALLGEMEINE INFORMATIONEN
Diese Bedienungsanleitung enthält wichtige Informa-
tionen zur Radwaschmaschine Drester GP 24 von Hedson
(GP 24) und erläutert deren sicheren Gebrauch. Lesen
Sie die gesamte Bedienungsanleitung durch, bevor Sie
die Maschine benutzen. Die Betriebssicherheit ist nur
dann gegeben, wenn die Maschine sachgemäß bedient
wird. Halten Sie sich daher unbedingt ganz genau an die
Anweisungen. Beachten Sie unbedingt auch die Abbil-
dungen am Ende der Bedienungsanleitung, denn diese
sind zum Verständnis der Erläuterungen erforderlich.
2. VERWENDUNGSZWECK
Die Maschine ist zur Reinigung von Fahrzeugrädern,
d. h. von Reifen auf Felgen, vorgesehen. Jede andere
Verwendung ist untersagt.
HINWEIS: Platte Reifen lassen sich mit der Maschine
nicht reinigen, da sie sich nicht ordnungsgemäß drehen.
Dies ist eine hochwertige Maschine für den profes-
sionellen Einsatz. Sie verbessert Service und Effizienz in
der Werkstatt.
Die Radwaschmaschine wäscht die Räder in einem um-
weltfreundlichen Reinigungsverfahren, bei dem die Fel-
ge mit einer Mischung aus Wasser und Kunststoffgran-
ulat (Strahlmittel) unter geringem Druck schonend und
gründlich gereinigt wird. Die Maschine eignet sich für
Felgen aller Art. Das bewegliche Spülrohr fährt während
des Reinigungsvorgangs langsam über die Außenfläche
der Felge und erreicht jeden Punkt auf der Felge. Das
ist besonders für die Reinigung von hochglanzpolierten
Leichtmetallfelgen, Felgen für große Reifen (SUVs, Trans-
porter) und aufwendig gestalteten Felgen geeignet.
Die Radwaschmaschine GP 24 reinigt die Räder in ei-
nem umweltfreundlichen Reinigungsverfahren. Sie arbe-
itet mit einem geschlossenen Wasserkreislauf. Der Was-
serverbrauch für die Radwäsche ist mit ca. 1l/Rad sehr
gering. Das Rad wird mit Kunststoffgranulat und Wasser
sanft und dennoch gründlich gereinigt. Waschmittel
oder sonstige Chemikalien sind nicht erforderlich. Die
Radwaschmaschine GP 24 kann mit einem optionalen
Wasseraufbereitungssystem kombiniert werden.
3. SICHERHEITSINFORMATIONEN
Es können Risiken durch unsachgemäße Handhabung der
GP 24 entstehen. Um den hohen Sicherheitsstandard der
Maschine nicht zu beeinträchtigen, müssen die Anweisun-
gen in dieser Bedienungsanleitung genau befolgt werden.
• Benutzen Sie die Maschine nur, wenn Sie diese Bedi-
enungsanleitung vollständig gelesen und verstanden
haben.
• Die Maschine muss wie in der Anleitung beschrieben
installiert werden.

gewartet werden.
• Es dürfen ausschließlich Originalersatzteile verwen-
det werden.
• Diese Bedienungsanleitung muss in lesbarem Zu-
stand in der Nähe der Maschine bereitliegen. Jeder
Nutzer muss wissen, wo die Bedienungsanleitung zu
finden ist.
• Die Betriebsanweisungen für das Modell GP 24
müssen auf der Basis dieser Bedienungsanleitung
formuliert und in die Sprache der Angestellten über-
setzt werden.
• Nehmen Sie keinerlei Modifikationen an der
Maschine vor.
• Tragen Sie eine Schutzbrille oder Ähnliches, um Ihre
Augen vor Spritzwasser zu schützen.
• Der Boden muss unbedingt regelmäßig gefegt
werden, damit keine Rutschgefahr besteht (siehe
Abbildung 11).
• Bei Maschinen, in denen warmes Wasser zum Einsatz
kommt, besteht die Gefahr einer Belastung durch
schädliche Bakterien, die sich durch Diffusion im
Wasser und/oder in der Luft ausbreiten können,
insbesondere wenn die Maschine eine Zeitlang nicht
genutzt wird und das Wasser darin steht.
Um dies zu vermeiden, empfehlen wir folgende
Maßnahmen:
• Zugabe eines Bakterizids zum Wasser in der
Waschkammer (Art.-Nr. 230521, 2 Liter auf 300
Liter Wasser)
• Entleeren der Maschine bei Nichtgebrauch
• Vorsicht: Trennen Sie die Maschine grundsätzlich im-
mer von der Stromversorgung und der Druckluftzu-
fuhr (siehe Abbildung 4), bevor Sie die Motorraum-
abdeckung (siehe Abbildung 3) abnehmen.
• Vorsicht:Die Motorraumabdeckung (siehe Ab-
bildung 3) darf nur von autorisiertem Personal
abgenommen werden, da sich darunter bewegliche
Teile und leicht zugängliche elektrische Komponent-
en befinden.
• Das Modell für die EU darf nicht in Nordamerika
verkauft werden.
4. WASCHMITTEL
Es gibt ein eigens für diese Radwaschmaschine entwick-
eltes Waschmittel, das bei Bedarf verwendet werden
kann. Artikelnummer: BIO-291
HINWEIS: Die Garantie erlischt, wenn die Maschine mit
nicht zugelassenen Waschmitteln oder Chemikalien
verwendet wird.
5. STRAHLMITTEL
Das DoublePower-Strahlmittel ist ein spezielles Kunstst-
offgranulat, das gemischt mit Wasser eine schonende
und gründliche Reinigung der Räder bewirkt. Das
Granulat sorgt für ein optimales Waschergebnis ohne

Beschädigung der Felgen. Es zeichnet sich durch ein
besonderes Fließverhalten sowie spezielle Härte- und
Verschleißeigenschaften aus. DoublePower-Strahlmittel
kann unter der Nummer 230794 (20-kg-Sack) bestellt
werden. Eine leere Radwaschmaschine muss mit 20 kg
Strahlmittel befüllt werden.
HINWEIS: Die Garantie erlischt, wenn die Maschine mit
nicht zugelassenem Kunststoffgranulat verwendet wird.
6. INSTALLATION
• Prüfen Sie als Erstes, ob die Maschine während des
Transports beschädigt wurde. Wenn ja, melden Sie
dies sofort dem Transportunternehmen.
• Entfernen Sie die Verpackung und überprüfen Sie no-
chmals, ob die Maschine beim Transport beschädigt
wurde. Wenn ja, melden Sie dies sofort dem Trans-
portunternehmen.
• Die Maschine muss von der rechten Seite aus ange-
hoben werden, wo sich die Wartungsklappe befindet.
HINWEIS: Die Gabel des Hubwagens muss die
Maschine unterfahren (siehe Abbildung 1), sodass die
Spitzen der Gabelzinken über den Querträger hinausra-
gen (siehe Abbildung 2).
• Stellen Sie sicher, dassfür den Betrieb der Maschine
ausreichend Platz vorhanden ist (siehe Abbildung
14). Bei zwei Rollwagen ist für die Maschine eine
Fläche von 2 x 3,5 m erforderlich. Für jeden weiteren
Rollwagen sind je zwei Meter zusätzlich nötig (siehe
Abbildung 14).
• Der Boden muss in allen Betriebsrichtungen eben
und horizontal sein.
• Schließen Sie die Maschine an eine Druckluftver-
sorgung mit 8 bis 12 bar (120 bis 174 psi) an. Der
Anschluss befindet sich auf der rechten Seite der
Maschine (siehe Abbildung 4). Achten Sie darauf,
dass die Druckluftleitung zur Maschine ausreichend
bemessen ist, sodass kein Druckabfall eintritt.
• Öffnen Sie die Tür und nehmen Sie den Strahlmit-
tel-Auffangkorb heraus (siehe Abbildung 17). Stellen
Sie den Korb zur Seite. Sie benötigen ihn später
beim Wasserwechsel (siehe Kapitel 12). Füllen Sie
den mitgelieferten Sack Strahlmittel komplett in die
Maschine ein.
• Unten links in der Waschkammer befindet sich eine
rote Wasserstandsanzeige (siehe Bild 12) mit zwei
Kerben. Füllen Sie die Maschine mit Wasser, bis das
Strahlmittel die untere Kerbe (siehe Abbildung 13)
der Anzeige erreicht.
HINWEIS: Der richtige Wasserstand ist extrem
wichtig (siehe Kapitel 12).
• Die Maschine ist mit einer Phasenerkennung aus-
gestattet, sodass sich Pumpen- und Rotationsmotor
nicht in die falsche Richtung drehen können. Werden
die Phasen falsch angeschlossen, läuft die Maschine
nicht, bis die Phasen gewechselt werden. In diesem
Fall erscheint im LCD-Display die Anzeige PHASEN-
FEHLER.
• Fehlen eine oder zwei der drei Phasen, wird dies
von der Maschine erkannt und PHASE FEHLT wird
angezeigt.
• Die oben genannten Probleme müssen gegeben-
enfalls von einem qualifizierten Elektriker behoben
werden.
• Wenn die Temperatur unter 0ºC zu fallen droht, muss
das Wasser aus der Maschine abgelassen werden.
Andernfalls kann es durch gefrierendes Wasser zu
Schäden an der Pumpe und an der Bodenwanne
kommen.
7. BEDIENUNG
1. Schalten Sie die Maschine am rot-gelben Hauptschal-
ter ein (siehe Abbildung 3).
2. Platzieren Sie die Räder auf dem Rollwagen (siehe
Abbildung 15). Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Räder
gerade stehen, an die Halterungen links gelehnt
sind und die Außenseite der Felge nach rechts zeigt,
damit die Felge nicht beschädigt wird.
HINWEIS: Zierkappen, z. B. Kunststoffabdeckungen
in der Felgenmitte oder Ventilkappen, müssen vor
der Radreinigung entfernt werden (siehe Abbildung
7). Andernfalls könnten sie zu Betriebsstörungen
führen, wenn sie sich während des Waschzyklus lösen
(siehe Kapitel 19).
Räder mit Teilen, die mehr als 13 mm über die Reif-
enkontur hinausragen, dürfen auf keinen Fall in der
Radwaschmaschine gewaschen werden (siehe Ab-
bildung 8). Andernfalls könnten die überstehenden
Teile beschädigt werden.
3. Schieben Sie den Rollwagen zur Maschine. Platzieren
Sie den Rollwagen so, dass sich die zweite Radhalter-
ung Recht vom Deckel befindet
(siehe Abbildung 22).
4. Wenn sich der Rollwagen an der richtigen Stelle
befindet und an die Maschine gedrückt wird, ist im
Display die folgende Anzeige zu sehen. Die Maschine
senkt die Führungsschiene automatisch ab, dockt
den Rollwagen an die Maschine an und der Rollwa-
gen wird um eine Position nach links bewegt.
Wenn sich der Rollwagen zu weit links befindet, ist
die folgende Anzeige im Display zu sehen und der
Rollwagen muss nach rechts geschoben werden.

5. Starten Sie die Maschine durch Drücken einer der
Funktionstasten (siehe Kapitel 11.3).
6. Wenn die Maschine ein Rad von einem Rollwagen
wäscht, kann ein weiterer Rollwagen an den ersten
angehängt werden (bis zu 4 Rollwagen können
zusammengehängt werden). So kann die Maschine
ohne Unterbrechung weiterwaschen. Beachten Sie,
dass der Rollwagen nur an einen stehenden Rollwa-
gen angehängt werden kann.
7. Wenn das letzte Rad auf dem Rollwagen gewaschen
und von der Maschine ausgegeben wurde, wird die
Führungsschiene angehoben und der Rollwagen von
der Maschine gelöst. Im Display ist folgende Anzeige
zu sehen und der Rollwagen muss von der Maschine
entfernt werden.
Vergewissern Sie sich am Ende des Waschzyklus, dass
kein Strahlmittel mehr an der Felge haftet, bevor sie
wieder ans Auto montiert wird.
8. EINLAUFZEIT
Wenn die Maschine noch neu ist, schleifen sich die Inn-
enseiten der Pumpe und der Rohre ab und Strahlmittel-
fragmente können sich lösen. Daher werden nach 100
Waschzyklen ein zusätzlicher Wasserwechsel sowie das
Spülen der Maschine dringend empfohlen. Auch das im
Auffangkorb gesammelte Strahlmittel sollte bei dieser
Gelegenheit mit Wasser gespült werden.
9. ALARM
An der Maschine können drei Typen von Alarmen auftre-
ten: A, B und C.
Alarmtyp A: Die Maschine stoppt unverzüglich und
Fehlercode und Beschreibung werden im Display
angezeigt. Der Fehler muss behoben werden, bevor die
Maschine wieder gestartet werden kann.
Alarmtyp B: Die Maschine kann noch betrieben werden,
aber die betreffende Funktion, z. B. der Heizstab, wird
ausgeschaltet.
Alarmtyp C: Die Maschine stoppt unverzüglich und
Fehlercode und Beschreibung werden im Display
angezeigt. Zum Aufheben eines C-Alarms muss die
Maschine ausgeschaltet werden. Andernfalls kann sie
nicht neu gestartet werden.
Beispiel: Bei einer Notabschaltung erscheint diese An-
zeige mit Fehlercode und kurzer Beschreibung.
Wenn Sie Eingabe drücken, erscheint die Anweisung,
die Maschine auszuschalten und den Fehler zu behe-
ben.
Wenn die Maschine wieder eingeschaltet wird, müssen
Sie 3 Sekunden lang STOPP drücken, um zu bestätigen,
dass der Fehler behoben ist.

Das Wasser sollte alle 300 Waschzyklen gewechselt
werden. Vorher muss das Kunststoffgranulat gesammelt
werden. Drücken Sie dazu die Strahlmittel-Sammeltaste.
MODELLE OHNE WASSERAUFBEREITUNG: Drücken
Sie die Strahlmittel-Sammeltaste. Die Maschine beginnt
automatisch, das Strahlmittel zu sammeln. Die Anleitung
zum Wasserwechsel finden Sie in Kapitel 12.
MODELLE MIT WASSERAUFBEREITUNG: Ist die
Maschine mit einem Wasseraufbereitungssystem aus-
gestattet, haben Sie nach dem Drücken der Strahlmit-
tel-Sammeltaste zwei Möglichkeiten.

11. BEDIENFELD
11.1 GRUNDLEGENDE NAVIGATION
• Im untersten Feld des Displays werden vier software-
definierte Optionen angezeigt.
• Die Funktionstasten dienen zum Festlegen von
Werten. Ganz rechts befindet sich die Taste EINGABE
oder WEITER, links die Taste ZURÜCK oder ABBRE-
CHEN.
• Mit STOPP können Sie die gerade ausgeführte Funk-
tion abbrechen.
Wasseraufbereitung wählen. Die Strahlmittel-Sammel-
funktion ist vordefiniert.
Um sie zu starten, drücken Sie einfach die Taste EING-
ABE erneut. Die Anleitung zum Wasserwechsel finden
Sie in Kapitel 12.
Wenn die Strahlmittel-Sammelfunktion abgeschlossen
ist, erscheint das Symbol für die Wasseraufbereitung.
Starten Sie diese mit der Taste EINGABE oder drücken
Sie ZURÜCK oder STOPP, um das Programm abzubre-
chen.
HINWEIS: Bevor Sie das Wasser aus der Maschine
ablassen, schalten Sie sie unbedingt am Hauptschalter
aus!
10.3 STOPP
Mit STOPP können Sie Waschprogramme abbrechen
und das Hauptmenü mit den Einstellungen aufrufen.
Nach einem C-Alarm müssen Sie 3 Sekunden lang
STOPP drücken, um die Maschine zurückzusetzen.
10.4 FUNKTIONSTASTEN
Mit den Funktionstasten können Sie Waschprogramme
auswählen und im Einstellmenü navigieren.
10.5 STANDARD-/SUV-RÄDER
Standardmäßig ist die Maschine auf Räder von bis zu
20" eingestellt. Zum Waschen von Rädern mit mehr
als 20" oder von SUV-Rädern drücken Sie diese Taste.
Daraufhin erscheint im LCD-Display ein Symbol, das
anzeigt, dass der SUV-Modus aktiviert ist.
Im SUV-Modus schwingt der bewegliche Sprüharm
weiter aus, um die größere Felge zu reinigen. Nach vier
Rädern wird der SUV-Modus automatisch beendet.
Wenn Sie den SUV-Modus von Hand beenden wollen,
drücken Sie die Taste einfach noch einmal. Daraufhin
wird das STANDARD-/SUV-Symbol im LCD-Display
ausgeblendet und die Maschine ist wieder auf Stand-
ardräder eingestellt.
Wenn der SUV-Modus aktiviert bleiben soll, drücken Sie
die Taste 4 Sekunden lang.
10.6 EINSTELLUNGEN
Im Einstellmodus können Sie weitere Systemparameter
anzeigen und ändern. Diese Radwaschmaschine ist
mit einem umfangreichen Steuersystem ausgestattet,
sodass zahlreiche Einstellungen vorgenommen werden
können. Dies ist im Rahmen des Normalbetriebs in der
Regel jedoch nicht erforderlich.
Zum Festlegen von Einstellungen drücken Sie die ent-
sprechende Taste auf dem Bedienfeld.
10.7 DECKELSTEUERUNG
Mit diese Tasten öffnen bzw. schließen Sie den Deckel.

11.3 WASCHPROGRAMME

11.4 BEARBEITEN VON
WASCHEINSTELLUNGEN
Die Waschprogramme kön-
nen bearbeitet werden – die
Dauer des Waschzyklus und
die Dauer von Klarspülen und
Druckluft lassen sich ändern.
Halten Sie die Taste für das
Waschprogramm, das Sie bear-
beiten möchten, 3 Sekunden
lang gedrückt. Der Bildschirm
WASCHEINSTELLUNGEN wird
angezeigt. Mit den Funktion-
stasten können Sie die Dauer
verlängern oder verkürzen.
Eine Verlängerung der Klar-
spüldauer sollte gut überlegt
werden. Längeres Klarspülen
verbraucht mehr Leitungswass-
er. Das Klarspülen kann aus-
geschaltet werden, indem Sie
die Dauer verringern, bis OFF
(AUS) im LCD-Display erscheint.

11.5.4 WASSERTEMPERATUR
Die Wassertemperatur kann auf
30-50 °C eingestellt werden.
Die Heizung kann auch
ausgeschaltet werden.
Verringern Sie dazu die
Temperatur, bis OFF (AUS) im
LCD-Display erscheint.
Werksseitig ist die
Wassertemperatur auf 45ºC
eingestellt. Dieser Wert sollte
möglichst NICHT erhöht
werden, da das Wasser dann
so heiß ist, dass die Gefahr von
Verbrühungen besteht.
11.5.5 UHRZEIT/TAG
Uhrzeit und Wochentag sollten
unbedingt korrekt eingestellt
werden, da verschiedene
Bedienfunktionen davon
abhängen.
11.5.6 WERKSEINSTELLUNGEN
Mit dieser Option können
Sie die Maschine auf
die Werkseinstellungen
zurücksetzen. Wenn Sie diese
Option versehentlich aufgerufen

Im Rahmen des Selbsttests

nach der Installation neuer
Optionen zu testen, ob diese
ordnungsgemäß funktionieren.
11.5.1 STATISTIK

Die Maschine protokolliert die
Gesamtzahl der Waschzyklen,
der Betriebsstunden und der
Strahlmittel-Sammelzyklen.
STATISTIK – Energie
Die Maschine ist mit einem
hochmodernen Stromver-
brauchszähler ausgestattet, an
dem sich der Stromverbrauch
des Pumpenmotors ablesen
lässt.
Dieser wird als Durch-
schnittsverbrauch/Waschzyklus
angezeigt und nach jeder
Gerätereinigung automatisch
zurückgesetzt. Der Wert variiert
je nach Dauer des durchschnit-
tlichen Waschzyklus.
STATISTIK – 7 Tage
Die Maschine erfasst die Nutzu-
ngsdauer in den vorangegan-
genen sieben Tagen und zeigt
sie als Diagramm an. Auf diese
Weise lassen sich Stoßzeiten
erkennen.
11.5.2 WASSERWECHSEL
Wird die Klarspülung der
Maschine verwendet, kann
das Intervall bis zum nächsten
Wasserwechsel auf etwa 400
Waschzyklen verlängert werden.
11.5.3 BETRIEBSSTUNDEN/
INTELLIGENTEN HEIZUNG
Das Modell GP 24 ist mit einem
intelligenten Wasserheizsystem
ausgestattet, das im Vergleich
zu einer herkömmlichen Ther-
mostat-geregelten Heizung bis
zu 50% Energie spart. Geben
Sie an, zu welcher Uhrzeit die
Maschine am Morgen be-
triebsbereit sein soll, wann die
Arbeitszeit am Spätnachmittag/
Abend zu Ende ist und die
Maschine nicht mehr gebraucht
wird und für welche Wochent-
age diese Zeiteinstellung gelten
soll.
Daraufhin beginnt die Maschine
automatisch mit dem Aufheizen
des Wassers, sodass dieses zur
STARTTIME (STARTZEIT) mit der
gewünschten Temperatur be-
reitsteht. Standardmäßig ist die
Maschine auf Montag bis Freit-
ag, 7:00-16:00 Uhr, eingestellt.
In dieser Zeit weist das Wasser
also Betriebstemperatur auf.
Wenn Sie diese intelligente Hei-
zung aus irgendeinem Grund
nicht wünschen, können Sie die
Maschine auf Montag bis Sonn-
tag, 00:00-00:00 Uhr, einstellen.
In diesem Fall hält die Heizung
das Wasser 24 Stunden täglich 7
Tage in der Woche warm.

12. WASSERWECHSEL
Nach 300 Rädern muss das Wasser gewechselt werden
und eine Gerätereinigung ist erforderlich.
HINWEIS: Soll die Maschine mit dem Wasser darin
transportiert werden, muss die Gabel des Hubwagens
die Maschine unterfahren (siehe Abbildung 1), sodass
die Spitzen der Gabelzinken über den Querträger
hinausragen (siehe Abbildung 2).
1. Füllen Sie das Wasser in der Maschine bis zur oberen
Kerbe der roten Pegelanzeige auf (siehe Abbildung
12 und 13). Setzen Sie den Strahlmittel-Auffangkorb
in die Waschkammer ein und schließen Sie die Tür.
HINWEIS: Setzen Sie den Strahlmittel-Auffangkorb
mit der seitlichen Öffnung nach links ein (siehe
Abbildung 17).
2. Drücken Sie die Strahlmittel-Sammeltaste (siehe
Kapitel 10) und lassen Sie die Maschine laufen,
bis sie automatisch stoppt (ca. 5 Minuten). Prüfen
Sie, ob das Wasser hoch genug steht. Drücken
Sie dazu EINGABE. Lassen Sie das Strahlmittel-
Sammelprogramm bei Bedarf zweimal laufen.
Wenn das Strahlmittel im Korb eingesammelt wird,
können Sie leicht überprüfen, ob sich die richtige
Menge Strahlmittel im Korb befindet. Sehen Sie
einfach nach, ob es die 20-kg-Marke seitlich am Korb
erreicht (siehe Abbildung 17). Wenn nicht, füllen Sie
Strahlmittel nach.
3. HINWEIS: Bevor Sie das Wasser aus der Maschine
ablassen, schalten Sie sie unbedingt am
Hauptschalter aus!
Platzieren Sie den Abflussschlauch zum Ablassen
des Wassers auf dem Boden (siehe Abbildung 3).
Das Abwasser aus dieser Maschine muss beim
Ablassen durch einen Ölabscheider geleitet
werden. Bei Bedarf kann die Maschine mit einem
umweltfreundlichen Wasseraufbereitungs-
und Filtersystem ausgestattet werden. Dieses
trennt das Wasser von Fremdstoffen, sodass
das Wasser in die Kanalisation geleitet werden
kann. Nach der Reinigung mit dem Hedson-
Wasseraufbereitungssystem erfüllt das Abwasser
sämtliche Auflagen der Wasserschutzbehörden.
Informationen über die örtlichen Grenzwerte erhalten
Sie bei Ihrer Wasserschutzbehörde.
4. Entfernen Sie den Schmutz, der sich in der Maschine
abgesetzt hat, mit einem Handschöpfer und spülen
Sie die Maschine anschließend aus. HINWEIS: Die
Rückstände aus der Maschine müssen als Sondermüll
entsorgt werden.
Geben Sie das Strahlmittel wieder ins Wasser. Drehen
Sie dazu den Korb in der Maschine um und füllen Sie
Wasser bis zur unteren Kerbe der roten Pegelanzeige
ein (siehe Abbildung 13).
HINWEIS: Bevor Sie das Wasser aus der Maschine
ablassen, schalten Sie sie unbedingt am Hauptschalter
aus! Sobald Sie einen Waschzyklus starten, wird die
Heizung automatisch wieder eingeschaltet.
Darüber hinaus kann damit eine
Fehlersuche an der Maschine
durchgeführt werden.
Einen Selbsttest sollte nur
entsprechend autorisiertes
Personal durchführen.
11.5.9 ALARMPROTOKOLL
Im Alarmprotokoll werden alle
Fehlercodes gespeichert. Wenn
es zu einem Fehler kommt,
wird dieser im LCD-Display
angezeigt. Diese Fehlercodes
werden im Alarmprotokoll
gespeichert, in dem Sie
nachsehen können, welche
Fehlertypen an welchen
Tagen und zu welcher Uhrzeit
auftraten.

Sie in Kapitel 19, „Fehlersuche“.
11.5.10 SPRACHAUSWAHL
Damit können Sie die
Anzeigesprache wechseln.

13. TÄGLICHE WARTUNG
(Abbildung 12 und 13)
Der Wasserstand muss täglich überprüft und bei Bedarf
muss Wasser nachgefüllt werden. Ist der Wasserstand
nicht korrekt, funktioniert die Maschine nicht
ordnungsgemäß. Sie reinigt weniger effektiv und das
Risiko, dass Spülrohre verstopfen, steigt.
Sehen Sie nach, ob sich in der Maschine Schaum bildet.
Dazu kann es kommen, wenn viele Räder von Autos
gewaschen werden, die zuvor in einer automatischen
Waschanlage gewaschen wurden. Ebenso kann sich
Schaum bilden, wenn Sie andere als das empfohlene
Waschmittel (siehe Kapitel 4) ins Wasser geben.
Schaum führt zu Betriebsstörungen. Die Maschine
reinigt weniger effektiv und das Risiko, dass Spülrohre
verstopfen, steigt.
Falls Strahlmittel auf dem Boden verschüttet wird, muss
unbedingt der Boden gefegt werden, um Rutschgefahr
zu vermeiden (siehe Abbildung 11).
14. WARTUNG
• Trennen Sie die Maschine grundsätzlich immer von
der Stromversorgung und der Druckluftzufuhr (siehe
Abbildung 4), bevor Sie die Motorraumabdeckung
(siehe Abbildung 3) abnehmen.
• Die Motorraumabdeckung (siehe Abbildung 3)
darf nur von autorisiertem Personal abgenommen
werden, da sich darunter bewegliche Teile und leicht
zugängliche elektrische Komponenten befinden.
15. HEIZUNG MIT HEIZSTAB
(Siehe Abbildung 20)
• Standardmäßig ist die Heizung so eingestellt, dass
der Heizstab das Wasser zu den Betriebszeiten
Montag bis Freitag, 07:00-16:00 Uhr, auf
Betriebstemperatur hält (siehe Kapitel 11.5.3).
• Werksseitig ist die Wassertemperatur auf 45ºC
eingestellt. Dieser Wert sollte möglichst NICHT
erhöht werden, da das Wasser dann so heiß ist, dass
die Gefahr von Verbrühungen besteht.
• HINWEIS: Bevor Sie das Wasser aus der Maschine
ablassen, schalten Sie sie unbedingt am
Hauptschalter aus!
Sobald Sie einen Waschzyklus starten, wird die
Heizung automatisch wieder eingeschaltet.
16. KLARSPÜLEN
Das Modell GP-24 ist zusätzlich mit einer
Klarspüleinrichtung ausgestattet, die die Räder am
Ende des Waschzyklus und vor der Nachreinigung mit
Druckluft mit klarem Leitungswasser abspült.
Wird die Klarspülung der Maschine verwendet, kann
das Intervall bis zum nächsten Wasserwechsel auf etwa
400 Waschzyklen verlängert werden.

finden Sie in Kapitel 11.4.
17. WASSERAUFBEREITUNG UND
ABWASSERENTSORGUNG (OPTIONAL)
An den Rädern, die in einer Hedson-Radwaschmaschine
gewaschen werden, haftet Schmutz von
Straßen und Fahrzeugen. Dieser Schmutz kann
Schwermetallrückstände enthalten, insbesondere
Kupfer von der Bremsanlage sowie Zink und Nickel. Die
zulässigen Grenzwerte sind regional unterschiedlich.
Bitte klären Sie die Frage der Abwasserentsorgung mit
der örtlichen Wasserschutzbehörde ab.
Das Abwasser aus dieser Maschine muss beim Ablassen
durch einen Ölabscheider geleitet werden. Bei Bedarf
kann die Maschine mit einem umweltfreundlichen
Wasseraufbereitungs- und Filtersystem ausgestattet
werden.
Hedson Technologies AB hat ein einfaches, aber
wirkungsvolles Verfahren der Abwasseraufbereitung
entwickelt. Dazu wird ein Koagulationspulver
(Art.-Nr. R12076) unter Rühren in die mit Wasser
gefüllte Maschine gegeben. Dieses bindet die
Schwermetallpartikel, sodass sie ausflocken. Die so
entstehenden größeren Partikel lassen sich aus dem
Wasser herausfiltern (Schlauchfilter, Art.-Nr. R12038,
und Korbfilter, Art.-Nr. R12037). Das auf diese Weise
aufbereitete Wasser entspricht allen Grenzwerten und
behördlichen Vorschriften.
Bei Maschinen, in denen warmes Wasser zum Einsatz
kommt, besteht die Gefahr einer Belastung durch
schädliche Bakterien, die sich durch Diffusion im Wasser
und/oder in der Luft ausbreiten können, insbesondere
wenn die Maschine eine Zeitlang nicht genutzt wird
und das Wasser darin steht. Um dies zu vermeiden,
empfehlen wir folgende Maßnahmen:
• Zugabe eines Bakterizids zum Wasser in der
Waschkammer (Art.-Nr. 230521, 2 Liter auf 300 Liter
Wasser)
• Entleeren der Maschine bei Nichtgebrauch
HINWEIS: Wenn ein Hedson-
Wasseraufbereitungssystem installiert ist, darf weder
BIO-291 noch ein anderes Waschmittel in der Maschine
verwendet werden!
