Measuring Scoop (2 oz Capacity)
2. Before first use, you should clean the unit carefully. Remove anything inside the popping
chamber. Wipe the popping chamber with a soft cloth slightly dampened with water. Let it
dry thoroughly.
Note: Never immerse the popcorn maker in the water or other liquid.
3. Fill the included Measuring Scoop with approximately 2 oz of kernels until it is LEVEL.
4. Open the Cover Lid.
5. Pour kernels into the Popping Chamber. Do not put oil or any other ingredients into
Popping Chamber.
6. Be sure that the Cover Lid is closed properly.
7. Put a large heat resistant bowl under the Popping Chute to collect the popcorn.
8. Plug the popcorn maker into a 120V household AC outlet and put the Power Switch to
“On” position to turn on. The popcorn will be ready in about 2-3 minutes. When the corn
has stopped popping, put the Power Switch to “Off” position to turn it off.
9. Before popping more batches of popcorn, make sure the popcorn maker is allowed to
cool down for 10-15 minutes. Using heat resistant gloves, remove any unpopped
kernels from popping chamber. If necessary, unplug the unit from the AC power outlet.
Turn the unit upside down and shake the popcorn maker slightly to remove popcorn or
unpopped kernels inside the popping chamber.
10. For more batches of popcorn, plug in the unit again and repeat steps #3 thru #8 above.
11. Unplug the unit when all popping is complete. Always remove popcorn or unpopped
kernels inside the Popping Chamber.
Note:
Maximum capacity of kernels for each batch is 2 oz.

4
Be sure the Cover Lid at the back is closed properly and the exit of the Popping
Chute in the front is clear before switching on the unit.
Because a few kernels may continue to pop even after the unit is unplugged, make
sure all popping has stopped and the unit has cooled before a attempting to open it.
Variances in popcorn type, freshness, moisture content, and/or household current can
affect the amount of kernels that do not pop and remain in the Popping Chamber.
CAUTION:
1. Do not leave unit unattended while popping.
2. Never overfill the Popping Chamber as this could result in overheating,
smoking, scorched corn, and may cause the unit shut off.
3. Occasionally a hot, unpopped kernels may be thrown from the Popping Chute.
To avoid contact with hot kernels, keep everyone well away.
4. Do not operate underneath or near flammable matters, such as curtain or
drapes or any other combustible materials.
5. After turning off the power, the popcorn maker needs at least 15 minutes to cool
down. Don’t touch it before it has completely cooled down.
6. Do NOT attempt to operate the popcorn maker without kernels inside the
popping chamber.
7. This popcorn maker is thermostatically controlled. To prevent overheating, if
the popping chamber is overfilled or if the unit is used for extended periods
without turning it off and allowing to cool, the heating element will
automatically shut off and only the fan will continue to operate. This is a normal
safety function of this product. Should this occur, the heating element will then
automatically restart approximately one minute later.
HELPFUL HINTS
1. This popcorn maker is designed to pop regular and premium brands of popcorn. Try
different brands to find the one you like best. Yellow popcorn generally pops larger than
white.
2. Some varieties of small and lighter weight kernel popcorn are not recommended for use
with this hot air popcorn maker. For further information, refer to any additional
instructions provided by the popcorn manufacturer.
3. Always use fresh popcorn for best popping performance. Store popcorn in a tightly
sealed container in your pantry. Do not store popcorn in a refrigerator or freezer as this
can dry out the kernels quickly.
4. Carefully select the bowl you will be using to collect popcorn. A metal bowl may become
very hot to touch due to the flow of hot air from the Popping Chute and must be handled
carefully. It will, however, tend to keep the popcorn warm. If a plastic bowl is used, be
certain it can withstand the heat caused by the warm air flow without melting.
5. Tipping the popcorn maker toward the bowl slightly when popping stops will help clear
popped corn from the Popping Chamber.
