Chapter 1 Product Introducon
Digital signage (hereinaer referred to as the terminal) displays are used to broadcast informaon,
release news, and adverse products, etc, working together with other related products, such as
informaon release servers and informaon release system, or the digital signage lite. Digital
signage displays are divided into two types according to the appearance: wall-mounted displays
and standing displays, which are widely applied to industries such as entertainment, nance, and
transportaon. The adapted display connected to the is equivalent to the digital signage. The
following instrucons are subject to the digital signage.

Chapter 2 Typical Applicaon
This chapter describes two typical applicaon scenes for your reference. The two scenes are
dierent and require dierent conguraon of your terminals. Please strictly follow the operaon
instrucons described in the following secons.

Chapter 3 Acvaon
This chapter describes acvaon methods in three scenes. The way of acvaon in three scenes is
dierent. Please select acvaon methods according to the scenes.
3.1 Acvaon for Scene One
3.1.1 Acvate on the Client
Before You Start
Your computer used for running the client is on the same network segment with the terminal.
Steps
1. Run client soware.

3. Select terminal to acvate and click Security Status.

4. Enter Password, enter the same password in Conrm Password text-eld, and click Apply.

3.1.2 Acvate on the Terminal
Steps
1. Power on the terminal.

2. Click ACTIVATE on acvaon interface.
3. Enter password and conrm password.
4. Click ACTIVATE.
3.1.3 Reset Password on the Client
Steps
Note
You are highly recommended to reset password with the help of our technical support.
1. Click Export to export the restoraon le and send the le to our technical support.

2. Technical support will send you back a le. Click Import and select the le.
3. Enter Password, enter the same password in Conrm Password text-eld, and click OK.
3.2 Acvaon for Scene Two
3.2.1 Acvate on the Client
Before You Start
• Your computer used for running the client is on the same network segment with the terminal.
• Your terminal is powered on.
Steps
1. Go to Terminal Management.
2. Click on the lower-right corner.
3. Select the terminals to acvate.
4. Click Acvate.

5. Set the terminal password and conrm password.
6. Click OK.
7. Oponal: Edit network parameters of the terminal.
1) Select Terminal → Terminal Conguraon → Terminal Network .
2) Enter and edit network parameters such as IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway.
3) Click OK.
3.2.2 Acvate on the Terminal
The way of acvaon on the terminal is the same as in Scene One. To acvate on the terminal,
refer to Acvate on the Terminal .
3.3 Acvaon for Scene Three
There are three ways to acvate the terminals in Scene Three.
•Acvate the terminal on the client. Please get FocSign Client in the company website.
•Acvate the terminal on the mobile phone. Please download FocSign Mobile in the company
website or App Store.
•Acvate on the terminal.
3.3.1 Acvate on the Client
Before You Start
• Your computer used for running the client is on the same network segment with the terminal.
• Your terminal is powered on.

Steps
1. Log into FocSign Client.
2. Click Terminal in the menu bar.
3. Click in Online Device to view online terminals.
4. Select the terminal to be acvated.
5. Click Acvaon.

6. Set the terminal password and conrm password.
7. Click OK.
8. Oponal: Edit network parameters of the terminal.
1) Select Terminal → Terminal Conguraon → Terminal Network .
2) Enter and edit network parameters such as IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway.
3) Click OK.
3.3.2 Acvate on the Mobile Phone
Steps
Note
• Before acvang terminals, please ensure that SADP is enabled on the terminals. When the
SADP is disabled, there are no QR code on the terminal.
• The APP and the terminal must be in the same network segment. If a router exists, and the
terminal is connected to the router with the network cable, the mobile phone must be in the Wi-
Fi network environment provided by the same router.
• Please refer to FocSign Client user manual to acvate or register terminals in dierent network
segments with the APP.
1. Log into FocSign Mobile.
2. Tap on the upper right corner of the Terminal interface to scan the QR code of the terminal.

3. Enter the New Password and conrm it.

4. Tap Acvate.
3.3.3 Acvate on the Terminal
The way of acvaon on the terminal is the same as in Scene One. To acvate on the terminal,
refer to Acvate on the Terminal .

Chapter 4 Registraon
This chapter describes registraon methods in three scenes. The way of registraon in three
scenes is dierent. Please select registraon methods according to the scenes.
4.1 Register Terminals for Scene One
4.1.1 Register on the Client
To register terminals to the informaon release server (hereinaer referred to as the server).
Before You Start
• You have acvated your terminals.
• Your computer used for running the client is on the same network segment with the server.
Steps
1. Run the client soware.
2. Click Online Device.

3. Select an acvated terminal and click Registraon.

4. Enter server informaon, including Server IP Address, Server Port, server User Name, and
Server Password.
Note
The server port is 7660 by default. You can change the server port as needed.
5. Enter a custom Terminal Name.
6. Enter the Terminal Password.
7. Click OK.
8. Oponal: Click Register status and enter Terminal Password to check registraon status.
4.1.2 Register on the Terminal
You can register your terminals on themselves.
Steps
Note
If your terminal is touchscreen, you can operate the terminal with your gure and skip Step 1.
1. Aach a mouse.
2. Click on the side of the screen.
3. Enter screen-saving password.
4. Click Conrm.
5. Click on the sidebar.
6. Set server parameters.
