Installation
!Don’t install the console in places exposed at extreme temperatures or bad weather.
!To fix the consolat a height that let an easy access to the frontal panel.
!For a solide and accurate fixing ,it’s essential make sure that the supporting surface is plain.

Key reader XM22K (Type 08)
The console XM22K is composed of a proximity key reader :
&For use it it’s necessary to connect also the blue cable on the Multiplexer line.
&To recognise and to programm the proximity reader to reference to paragraph 6.5 Programming Zone
of manual “INSTALLATION AND SETUP” SerieXM

Cable Console (Type 04)
The console is equipped with :
&An input (with reference to negative 12V) programmable like in the table “PARAMETERS” that is added
to those in the central unit.
&An output to opened collector (with reference to positive 12V) programmable.
NOTES: The positive '+' and the negative '-' on the terminal block 'Console' of the central unit are
electrically the same '+ EXT and 'GND' that feed multiplexer line

Programming console
To change the language of the console:
!when it’s on for the first time ,use the bottons and for to choose the language indicated the
display
!Pressthe button to confirm
To visualize and/or to modify the language selected to remove and then turn on the console, the to
press 4 times ; in30 seconds
NOTES: if the console isn’t connected to the multiplexer line the change of the language it’s always
possible,typing 4 times 4 the button
ID Configuration
Every console standard has the ID setted to “01”. To install more console on the multiplexer line it’s
necessary to assign different ID (until 8 ID).
To change ID of the console :
!To give power to console
!Hold down for 5 seconds; is visualized the current ID
!Use the bottons and to chose the ID
!To press to confirm
NOTES: If the console isn’t connected to the data line (AB) the change of ID is always possible.
NOTES: if connect the positive '+' and negative '-' of the console on a battery is possible to read the
voltage of this last one. One time connected the console to the multiplexer line, the information
obtained is sent to the central unit in order to be read it by others consoles.
Functioning LED
On the console XM22K two LED indicate normally the status of inserter inside. If is pressed an any
botton two LED indicate,instead, the status of the console for 5 seconds.
NOTES :If install the console on central units that managemore of one installation, LED will signal
the status of inserter. It’s possibile to associate both the console, that the reader integrated
at the same installation.
Backlight Display
Tapyng the button for about 3 seconds, the backlights of display are off contemporary of keyboard
and the logo.
Taping instead the button LED signalisation of the status of installation are off.
For riactivate the normal functioning it’s necessary to press the button for about 3 seconds.
With the console off , acting on any button of backlight is riactivated for about 20 seconds allowing the
use of the same.
SIGNALISATION POWER SUPPLY ERROR.
Disable 24h
In case of disable of 24h, the flashing occur only on the console of addresse “1”.
