We would like to congratulate you on having chosen a self-winding automatic watch HINDENBERG. Your HINDENBERG
watch has undergone a number of quality control and accuracy tests before leaving our workshops and being transferred to
the selective HINDENBERG authorized distribution network. To ensure that your HINDENBERG watch functions perfectly for
many years, here is some advice from our master watchmakers:
A watch with a self-winding mechanical movement is automatically wound by its wearer‘s everyday wrist movements. Becau-
se of this, the watchband must be correctly tted to the wearer’s wrist. If the watchband is too loose, the watch may lose
some of its autonomy, and therefore its precision. To keep your watch optimally wound, wear it at least 12 hours every day.
Before wearing your watch, you must wind it manually by turning the crown clockwise approximately 40-50 turns. After
wearing your watch for several hours, depending on your activity level, the watch will be perfectly wound. If the watch stops
(e.g. if it has not been worn for some time or during periods of low activity), it should be wound manually.
The name HINDENBERG guarantees a quality watch movement of the greatest precision. The average deviation of a HIN-
DENBERG automatic watch should not exceed -5 to +30 seconds per day.
Wear your mechanical watch regularly to ensure that the lubricating oil in the movement remains uid. Do not leave your
watch anywhere where it might be subjected to major variations in temperature or humidity (e.g.bathroom, sauna) in direct
sunlight or near strong magnetic elds such as loudspeakers, refrigerators, mobile phones, etc.

INITIAL SETTING
When setting the watch for the rst time, unscrew the crown by turning it coun-
ter-clockwise and wind it at least 45 times.
WARNING: So as not to damage the mechanism, do not set the date/month
etc. while the hands are between 9am and 3pm (15:00) or between 9pm (21:00)
and 3 am. Please press the button on your watch slowly and carefully to avoid
damaging the mechanism.
SETTING THE DATE AND THE DAY OF THE WEEK
Pull the crown carefully out to position 2 (two clicks) and set the hands outside the
zone mentioned before, e.g. at 6:00. Push the crown back to position 1 (one click
position) and turn it clockwise to the date required. Turn the crown counter-clockwi-
se until the right day is displayed.
SETTING THE YEAR AND MONTH
Press the adjustment pusher A until the right month is displayed (1-12). Press the
adjustment pusher B until the required year is displayed The date/month must be set
manually at the end of the month.
SETTING THE TIME
Pull the crown carefully out to position 2. Turn the crown in either direction to set the
hands on the time required. Then press the crown back in.

Straps in fabric, leather and alligator or python skin
• Avoid all contact with water (baths, showers etc). However, despite your care and attention, leather is a natural,
living material and its color will fade a little over time.
• Avoid contact with chemical products (solvents, detergents, cosmetics, etc.). They may damage the bracelet and
the water-resistance gaskets.
We recommend avoiding direct exposure to the sun’s rays because the temperature of the watch can rise above 60°C
(140°F). This risks damaging the movement. Prolonged exposure to Ultra Violet rays can alter the colors of some parts
(leather strap, dial etc.). Avoid all violent shocks such as dropping the watch. Apart from damaging its appearance this can
cause premature wear in materials and components which may affect the performance of the watch.
When you set the time
• Avoid changing the date between 8:00 pm and 4:00 am.
• Once the changes are made, push the crown back in and (depending on the model) screw it down against the
case to preserve its water-resistance.

International Warranty
Your Hindenberg watch is guaranteed free from all manufacturing defects for a period of 24 months from the date of
purchase, subject to the following conditions. Any part found by our technical services to be defective as a result of manu-
facturing defects will be, at the sole discretion of Hindenberg, repaired or replaced free of charge. In order to benet from
this guarantee, you will be required to present the Hindenberg Certicate of Authenticity and your invoice of an authorized
Hindenberg retailer. Please keep the certicate and the invoice in a safe place.
The Hindenberg International Guarantee does not cover:
• Defects arising from accidents, mishandling, incorrect or abusive use (for example but not limited to, knocks,
crushing, moisture in the case of non water-resistant watches),
• Leather straps and crystal;
• The results of normal wear and aging of the watch and of the metal bracelet;
• Theft or loss;
In order to benet from guarantee services under the International Guarantee, you shall contact the authorized Hindenberg
retailer where you bought your Hindenberg watch and present your Hindenberg watch and the Hindenberg Certicate of
Authenticity. You may alternatively send your Hindenberg watch, with the Hindenberg Certicate of Authenticity and your

Wiederverkäufer ausgeliefert wurde. Damit Ihre HINDENBERG-Uhr während vieler Jahre einwandfrei funktioniert, nden Sie
nachstehend einige Empfehlungen unserer Uhrmachermeister:
Eine mechanische Uhr mit automatischem Aufzug wird durch die Handbewegungen ihres Trägers aufgezogen. Deshalb
muss das Armband richtig an das Handgelenk angepasst werden. Ein zu lockeres Armband kann zu einer Verringerung der
Gangreserve und der Präzision führen. Um einen optimalen Aufzug zu gewährleisten, sollte die Uhr jeden Tag 12 Stunden
getragen werden.
Bevor Sie Ihre Automatikuhr anlegen, müssen Sie sie manuell durch Drehen der Krone im Uhrzeigersinn aufziehen (ca. 40-50
Umdrehungen). Nachdem Sie die Uhr einige Stunden (die Zahl hängt davon ab, wie aktiv Sie sind) getragen haben, ist sie
vollständig aufgezogen. Sollte die Uhr stehen bleiben (z. B. wenn sie längere Zeit nicht getragen wird oder in Zeiten geringer
Aktivität), muss sie manuell aufgezogen werden.
Der Name HINDENBERG steht für Qualitätsuhrwerke von höchster Präzision. Die durchschnittliche Abweichung der Gang-
genauigkeit einer HINDENBERG Automatikuhr sollte nicht mehr als -5 und +30 Sek./Tag betragen. Eine mechanische Uhr
sollte regelmäßig getragen werden, damit das im Uhrwerk enthaltene Öl nicht erstarrt. Lassen Sie die Uhr nicht an Orten mit
starken Temperatur- oder Feuchtigkeitsschwankungen (Bad, Sauna) bzw. im direkten Sonnenlicht oder in der Nähe starker
Magnetfelder liegen (z. B. Lautsprecher, Kühlschrank, Mobiltelefon etc.).

ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Lösen Sie die Verschraubung der Krone, indem Sie diese gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
drehen. Drehen Sie nun die Krone mindestens 45 Mal, um die Uhr aufzuziehen.
ACHTUNG: Um Schäden am Mechanismus zu vermeiden, darf das Datum/Monat
etc. nie neu eingestellt werden, wenn der Stundenzeiger zwischen 9 Uhr und 15
Uhr oder zwischen 21 Uhr und 3 Uhr steht. Bitte betätigen Sie die Drücker Ihrer
Uhr stets langsam und sorgfältig, um Schäden am Mechanismus zu vermeiden.
DATUM UND WOCHENTAG EINSTELLEN
Krone in Position 2 bringen und Zeiger außerhalb des oben genannten Bereichs
positionieren, z. B. 6:00 Uhr. Krone in Position 1 bringen und im Uhrzeigersinn drehen,
bis das gewünschte Datum erscheint. Krone gegen den Uhrzeiger drehen, bis der
gewünschte Wochentag erscheint.
MONAT UND JAHR EINSTELLEN
Drücker A betätigen, bis der gewünschte Monat angezeigt wird (1-12). Drücker B betä-
tigen, bis das gewünschte Jahr angezeigt wird. Das Datum/Monat muss am Monatsen-
de manuell umgestellt werden.
ZEITEINSTELLUNG
Krone in Position 2 bringen. Zeiger durch Drehen der Krone in beide Richtungen auf
die gewünschte Zeit einstellen. Krone zurückdrücken.

Empfehlungen für Leder-, Alligator-, Python- und Textilarmbänder
• Vermeiden Sie jeglichen Kontakt mit Wasser (Eintauchen in Wasser, Dusche usw.). Weil Leder ein edles und
lebendiges Material ist, wird sich die Farbe des Leders trotz aller Sorgfalt, die Sie Ihrer Uhr entgegenbringen, mit
der Zeit etwas verändern.
• Vermeiden Sie jeglichen Kontakt der Uhr mit Chemikalien (Lösungs- und Reinigungsmittel, Kosmetikprodukte
usw.), denn diese können Armband und Dichtungsringe schädigen.
Es wird empfohlen, die Uhr nicht über längere Zeit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung auszusetzen, denn sie kann dadurch eine
Temperatur von über 60° C bzw. 140° F erreichen, wodurch das Uhrwerk beschädigt werden kann. Zudem kann eine anhal-
tende UV-Bestrahlung die Farben beeinträchtigen (Leder, Zifferblatt usw.). Vermeiden Sie heftige Stöße und das Herunter-
fallen, denn dadurch kann das Aussehen beeinträchtigt und ein vorzeitiger Verschleiß von Materialien und Bestandteilen
verursacht werden, was die einwandfreie Funktion Ihrer Uhr schädigen kann.
Wenn Sie Ihre Uhr einstellen
• Vermeiden Sie es, das Datum zwischen 8 Uhr abends und 4 Uhr früh zu korrigieren.
• Sobald Sie die Einstellungen beendet haben, drücken Sie die Krone wieder fest gegen das Gehäuse und schrau-
ben Sie sie fest (je nach Modell), damit die Dichtigkeit Ihrer Uhr gewährleistet ist.

Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Alle defekten Teile, bei denen unser technischer Service eindeutig einen Herstellungsfehler feststel-
len kann, werden nach dem ausschließlichen Ermessen von Hindenberg kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Die Garantie kann
nur in Anspruch genommen werden, wenn Sie die Rechnung eines ofziellen Hindenberg-Konzessionärs und das Echtheits-
zertikat vorlegen. Bitte bewahren sie daher das Echtheitszertikat und die Rechnung sorgfältig auf.
Von der internationalen Hindenberg-Garantie sind ausgeschlossen:
• Mängel infolge von Unfällen, unsachgemäßer, falscher oder missbräuchlicher Behandlung (unter anderem
Schläge, Beschädigung, Feuchtigkeit bei nicht wasserdichten Uhren usw.)
• Lederarmbänder;

agréé par HINDENBERG. An que votre montre HINDENBERG fonctionne à la perfection durant de nombreuses années, vous
trouverez ci-après quelques conseils utiles de nos maîtres horlogers:
Une montre équipée d’un mouvement mécanique à remontage automatique se remonte automatiquement par les gestes
du poignet de la personne qui la porte. Par conséquent, le bracelet doit être bien ajusté au poignet. Un bracelet trop large
entraîne une perte d’autonomie et par conséquent de précision. Pour un remontage optimal, portez votre montre au mini-
mum 12 heures par jour.
Avant de porter votre montre, il est nécessaire de la remonter manuellement (environ 40-50 tours) en tournant la couronne
dans le sens horaire. Après plusieurs heures de porté, selon l’activité, votre montre atteindra un remontage maximum. Si la
montre s’est arrêtée (p. ex. si elle n’a pas été portée depuis longtemps ou en cas d’activité restreinte), elle doit être remontée
manuellement.
Le nom HINDENBERG est garant d’un mouvement de qualité de la plus haute précision. L’écart de précision moyen pour
une montre automatique. HINDENBERG ne devrait pas excéder -5 à +30 secondes par jour. Votre montre mécanique à
besoin d’être portée régulièrement an que l’huile contenue dans le mouvement ne se ge pas. Evitez de la laisser dans
des endroits exposés à de fortes variations de température ou d’humidité (salle de bains, sauna), au soleil ou à des champs

PREMIÈRE MISE EN MARCHE
Lors de la première mise en marche, débloquer le vissage de la couronne en tournant
celle-ci dans le sens antihoraire et remonter la montre en tournant la couronne au moins 45
fois.
Attention: Pour ne pas endommager le mécanisme, le réglage de la date/mois etc.
ne doit jamais être effectué lorsque l’aiguille des heures est positionnée entre 9 h
00 et 15 h 00 ou entre 21 h 00 et 3 h 00. Veillez à toujours appuyez sur le bouton de
votre montre lentement et avec précaution, an d‘éviter que le mécanisme ne soit
endommagé.
REGLAGE DE LA DATE ET DU JOUR DE LA SEMAINE
Tirer la couronne avec précaution sur position 2 (deux crans) et positionner les aiguilles hors
de la période mentionnée ci-dessus, par exemple à 6 h 00. Repousser la couronne d‘un cran
sur position 1 (un cran) et la tourner dans le sens horaire jusqu’à la date désiré. Tourner la
couronne dans le sens antihoraire jusqu’à ce que le jour désiré apparaisse.
REGLAGE DU MOIS ET DE L‘AN
Presser à plusieurs reprises sur le correcteur A jusqu’au mois désiré (1-12). Presser à plusi-
eurs reprises sur le correcteur B jusqu’à l‘an désiré. A la n du mois, il faut changer la date et
le mois manuellement.
REGLAGE DE L’HEURE
Tirer la couronne avec précaution sur position 2 (deux crans). En tournant la couronne dans
les deux sens, positionner les aiguilles sur l’heure désirée. Repousser la couronne.

Conseils pour les bracelets cuir, alligator, python, textile
• Evitez tout contact avec l’eau (immersions, douches, etc.). Toutefois, malgré le soin que vous porterez à votre
montre, le cuir étant une matière noble et vivante, sa couleur se patinera avec le temps.
• Evitez le contact avec des produits chimiques (solvants, détergents, produits cosmétiques etc.) susceptibles
d’endom mager le bracelet et les joints d’étanchéité.
En région fortement ensoleillée il est recommandé d’éviter les expositions directes prolongées aux rayons du soleil car la
montre peut atteindre une température supérieure à 60°C ou 140°F, ce qui risquerait d’endommager le mouvement de votre
montre. De plus, une exposition prolongée aux U.V peut altérer la couleur des matières (cuir, cadran, etc.). Evitez les chocs
violents et les chutes susceptibles d’entraîner, en plus d’une détérioration esthétique, une usure prématurée des matériaux et
des composants pouvant nuire au bon fonctionnement du mécanisme de votre montre.
Lorsque vous réglez votre montre
• Evitez d’effectuer le changement de date entre 20h et 4h du matin.
• A la n des réglages, repoussez et revissez (selon le modèle) la couronne au maximum contre la boîte de la
montre an d’en préserver l’étanchéité.

Sont expressément exclus de la Garantie Internationale Hindenberg:
• Les défauts résultants d’accidents, de mauvais traitements, d’utilisation impropre ou abusive (par exemple, mais
pas limitativement: chocs, écrasement, humidité dans le cas des montres non-étanches)
• Les bracelets en cuir et le verre;

Gli orologi dotati di movimento meccanico a carica automatica si ricaricano con i movimenti del polso. Di conseguenza, il
bracciale deve essere ben aderente al polso. Un bracciale troppo largo comporta una perdita di autonomia e precisione,
poiché l’orologio perde la capacità di ricaricarsi automaticamente. Per una carica ottimale si consiglia di indossare l’orologio
ogni giorno per 12 ore.
Prima di indossare l’orologio, è necessario caricarlo manualmente girando la corona per circa 40-50 volte. Dopo aver
indossato l’orologio per alcune ore e in base al livello di attività, l’orologio sarà perfettamente carico. Se l‘orologio dovesse
fermarsi (ad esempio quando non viene indossato per lungo tempo o in periodi di scarsa attività), bisogna caricarlo
manualmente.
Il nome HINDENBERG è sinonimo di orologi di massima precisione. La differenza media della precisione di un orologio
automatico HINDENBERG dovrebbe essere compresa tra -5 e +30 secondi al giorno. Un orologio meccanico deve essere

RICARICA DELL’OROLOGIO
Sbloccare la corona avvitata, girandola in senso antiorario. Per caricare l‘orologio, ruota-
re la corona almeno 45 volte per caricare l‘orologio.
Attenzione: Per non danneggiare il meccanismo, la regolazione della data/mese
etc. non deve mai essere effettuata quando la lancetta delle ore è posizionata tra
le 9.00 e le 15.00 o tra le 21.00 e le 03.00. Si prega di premere sempre lentamente
e con cautela il pulsante di avvio del vostro orologio, per evitare di danneggiare il
meccanismo.
REGOLAZIONE DELLA DATA E DEL GIORNO DELLA SETTIMANA
Sollevare la corona di due tacche (posizione 2) e posizionare le lancette al di fuori del
periodo menzionato in alto, per esempio alle 6.00. Mettere la corona in posizione 1 e
ruotarla in senso orario no all’apparire della data desiderata. Ruotare la corona in senso
anti-orario no all’apparire del giorno desiderato.
REGOLAZIONE DEL MESE E DELL‘ANNO
Premere il correttore A no all’apparire del mese desiderato. (1-12). Premere il correttore
B no all’apparire dell‘anno desiderato. A ne mese, è necessario cambiare la data e il
mese manualmente.
REGOLAZIONE DELL’ORA
Sollevare la corona di due tacche (posizione 2). Ruotare la corona nei due sensi per
posizionare le lancette sull’ora desiderata. Spingere la corona contro la cassa.

Consigli per i cinturini in pelle, alligatore, pitone, tessuto
• Evitate il contatto con l‘acqua (immersioni, docce, ecc.). Nonostante la cura che riservate al vostro orologio,
poiché la pelle è un materiale nobile e vivo, con il tempo il suo colore tenderà a sbiadire naturalmente.
• Evitate il contatto con prodotti chimici (solventi, detergenti, prodotti cosmetici, ecc.) che potrebbero danneggia-
re il bracciale e le guarnizioni.
In regioni fortemente assolate si consiglia di evitare esposizioni dirette prolungate ai raggi del sole, in quanto l‘orologio
potrebbe raggiungere una temperatura superiore a 60°C o 140°F che rischierebbe di danneggiare il movimento. Una
esposizione prolungata ai raggi UV può inoltre alterare il colore dei materiali (pelle, quadrante, ecc.). Evitate gli urti violenti
e le cadute che potrebbero causare, oltre ad un deterioramento estetico, un‘usura prematura dei materiali e dei componenti
passibile di nuocere al corretto funzionamento del meccanismo dell‘orologio.
Quando regolate l‘orologio
• Non eseguite il cambio di data tra le ore 20 e le 4 del mattino.
• Al termine della regolazione spingete e riavvitate (a seconda del modello) la corona al massimo contro la cassa
per preservarne l‘impermeabilità.

La garanzia internazionale Hindenberg non copre:
• I difetti dovuti a incidenti, trattamento inadeguato, utilizzazione impropria o abusiva (per esempio, ma non
limitatamente: urti, ammaccature, umidità nel caso di orologi non impermeabili)
• I cinturini in pelle e il vetro;

pruebas de calidad y de precisión antes de incorporarse a la red de distribución ocial autorizada HINDENBERG. Para que su
reloj HINDENBERG funcione a la perfección durante muchos años, aquí encontrará algunos consejos de nuestros maestros
relojeros:
Un reloj dotado de un movimiento de cuerda automática se carga con el movimiento de la muñeca. Por ello, es importante
ajustar correctamente la pulsera a la muñeca. Si la pulsera está demasiado suelta podría implicar una pérdida de autonomía
y de precisión. Lo ideal es llevar el reloj puesto todos los días durante 12 horas.
Para garantizar una carga óptima, deberá cargar su reloj manualmente antes de ponérselo, girando la corona en el sentido
de rotación horaria aproximadamente 40-50 veces. Después de llevar puesto su reloj durante varias horas y dependiendo
del nivel de actividad, el reloj estará completamente cargado. En el caso de que se quede parado el reloj (p.ej. si no se ha
llevado puesto durante algún tiempo o en tiempos de poca actividad), deberá darse cuerda a mano.
La desviación media de su reloj automático HINDENBERG respecto a ala exactitud de marcha, no debería suponer más de -5
y +30 segundos por día.
Un reloj mecánico se debe llevar de forma regular para que el aceite contenido en el mecanismo no se seque. No deje el
reloj en lugares expuestos a variaciones extremas de temperatura o de humedad (baño, sauna) al sol o a campos magnéti-
cos intensos como altavoces, refrigeradores, teléfonos móviles etc.
