1.2. General information
Important: Save this manual!
▪The rigidity of the structure and its individual elements should be checked to verify that there are no dam-
ages;
▪each built-in device is subject to periodic chimney inspection. The appliance may be inspected or serviced
by a qualied chimney sweep/service technician with the appropriate qualications. Failure to follow these
rules may result in personal injury, property damage, or even death;
▪When assembling, installing and using, comply with national and local regulations, standards;
▪It is required that the installation of the replace insert be carried out by a qualied person or company,
and the technical acceptance by the master chimney sweep and re protection specialist;
▪In order to determine what regulations apply to the user and the installation of the device in the place
where the cover and insert are to be installed, consult an authorized dealer or building inspector;
▪It is strictly forbidden to use the device if one of its elements has been removed or damaged. In case of
damage, replace the element with a new original one indicated by the manufacturer;
▪Make sure that the installation and operation of the device does not require any permits;
▪It is absolutely necessary to comply with the instructions and the re safety code in the absence of provi-
sions regulating the installation and use.
1.3. Security:
Compliance with the following rules will enable the correct functioning of the replace insert and
avoid damages and accidents caused by improper use.
In order to maintain the necessary safety rules, you should:
▪be absolutely careful when using the insert with the cover. All visible surfaces can be very hot during burn-
ing as well as up to several hours after the re is put out. It is FORBIDDEN to touch them;
▪Use heat-resistant gloves for all activities related to the replace (removing ashes, loading fuel);
▪Due to high temperatures of the cover, especially replace glass, special care should be taken with locating
ammable materials. Any ammable items should be kept at a safe distance from the insert and from its
components.
▪Inform all household members about the presence of high temperatures on the device during its burning
as well as up to several hours after the re is put out, to prevent burns and ignition of clothing (particular
attention should be paid to children and disabled people).
▪before installing or maintaining the insert, read and understand the Operation and Installation Manual;
▪install the replace insert in the most convenient place, taking into account the current situation applicable
construction and re law;
▪assembly, maintenance and control of the system operation should be carried out by qualied specialists;
▪use the device in accordance with its intended use;
▪it is absolutely necessary to provide the installation site with appropriate ventilation and air intake sources;
▪a clothes dryer may be placed at least 1.5 m away from the insert (to minimize the risk of a re);
▪check the permissible load carrying capacity of the substructure (oor, ceiling) at the intended location of
the insert (taking into account the total weight of the insert and its encasing);
▪provide an appropriate chimney installation to ensure safe operation (e.g. chimney made from non-com-
bustible materials with poor heat-absorbing properties);
▪avoid installation in rooms with B type gas devices, hoods (with or without exhaust), heat pumps, collective
ventilation conduits or multiple ue pipes; the insert must not be tted in the vicinity of the staircase or
rooms with appliances capable of creating negative pressure;
▪avoid direct contact with the insert (it becomes very hot during use) and wear suitable protective equip-
ment (protective clothing or heat-resistant gloves);
