BOQF10 Series
HLA attachments quick t adapter converts your skid steer pin-on style loader to the universal skid
steer style quick t setup, allowing you to use a greater variety of attachments. Its a great way to in-
crease the versatility of your skid steer or compact loader.
This kit is specially designed for skid steer and compact loaders for use with quality HLA attachments
as well as other attachments outtted with universal mounts.
Typically when you receive your adapter it has been congured to t your loader. All that is required is
to remove your current attachment and replace it with the BOQF10 quick t adapter. When installing
the quick t adapter, be sure to use the new pins supplied with the adapter to ensure optimum per-
formance.
The BOQF10 manual lock features a secure spring loaded over the centre attachment lock. The
BOQF10HYD in cab controllable hydraulic cylinder ensures a dependable solid lock.
Your kit components may not be the same as the ones illustrated in this manual. The proced-
ure outlined here applies to installation of all adapter variations and is to be used as a general
guide only.

The serial number for your BOQF10 series is located on the back side of the adapter assembly.
Please record your serial number here as a handy reference. In case of warranty issues, your dealer
will ask for the serial to verify your warranty.

Practice Safe Installation Procedure
• Lower attachment to the ground and follow all shutdown procedures in the skid steer operator’s
manual before leaving the operator’s seat .
• Understand procedure before doing work. Refer to the skid steer operator’s manual for additional
information.
• Work on a level surface in a clean dry area that is well-lit.
• Do not work under any hydraulic supported equipment. It can settle, suddenly leak down, or
be lowered accidentally. If it is necessary to work under the equipment, securely support it with
stands or suitable blocking beforehand.
• Use properly grounded electrical outlets and tools.
• Use correct tools and equipment for the job that are in good condition.
• Inspect all parts. Make certain parts are in good condition & installed properly.
• Always make sure any material and waste products from the installation of the attachment are
properly collected and disposed.
• Remove all tools and unused parts from the equipment before operation.
Caution: Hydraulic uid is under pressure, be aware that hydraulic leaks could develop with
out warning. Do not check for leaks with your hand or ngers while the system is pressurized,
serious injury could result. Possible burns or poisoning from pressurized uid injection.
Caution: Only qualied personnel should perform installations and connections to the skid
steers hydraulic system.
Caution: Do not attach equipment that is beyond the capacity of the adapter to avoid personal
injury and damage to the equipment.

Caution: this kit is constructed of heavy gauge steel, be sure to use caution moving and install-
ing the kit, avoid dropping or pinching body parts on corners and edges of the kit.
Caution: Always wear the appropriate safety gear when installing this kit or working
around the machine. This includes but is not limited to:
• Eye protection, safety glasses or face shield.
• Heavy gloves for protection from cuts and pinching.
• Safety shoes with slip resistant soles and steel toes for protection.
Warning: Read thru the skid steer owner manual and review safe operating and at-
tachment removal before beginning work, shut o the engine, and ensure the machine
is blocked securely and is secure from unexpected movement.

Installation
Observe any pre-start, starting and exit safety procedures outlined in your skid steer operator manual.
Have your skid steer operators, service manuals on hand and prepare your work area. Follow the
safe installation procedure.
To ensure a safe and secure assembly, a thread locking compound is required to be applied to all
bolts that thread into the pins or adapter. (Red Loctite 263 is recommended).
Hydraulic hoses and connectors from the adapter to the skid steer is the responsibility of the owner.
• Have the attachment lowered to the ground, and tilted so the face is at on the ground. Relieve
the auxiliary hydraulic pressure.
• Turn the ignition key to ‘o’ position, do not run the engine.
• Carefully remove the pins on the current attach-
ment to the loader lift arms and tilt cylinders
and set them aside. (see your skid steer service
manual for complete pin removal procedure)
• Remove the old attachment from the immediate
work area.
• Move the BOQF10 series adapter in its place,
and roughly align the hitch plate bushings on the
adapter with the loader lift arm and tilt cylinder
bushings.
• Inspect the bushings for wear, replace if necessary.
• Find the new pins that came with the adapter, and lightly coat them with grease.
• Align the bushings, and carefully insert the pins.
• Apply grease to the loader lift arms and tilt cylinder bushings as per maintenance section in the
skid steer operator’s manual.

Hydraulic Equipped BOQF10HYD
Hoses and ttings are not included with BOQF-
10HYD. Attach hydraulic hoses to the cylinder,
connect to the auxiliary ports on your loader to
operate the attachment lock
Hydraulic hose and tting requirements:
• Good quality, 5800 psi max.
• Sucient length to reach the auxiliary ports.
• 1/4 i.d. minimum.
• Cylinder hose bushing requires 7/16-20 or
SAE#4” ORB tting.
• Skid steer end: connectors to t your auxiliary
ports.
Operation
When entering and exiting the skid steer loader be sure to observe any pre-start, starting and exit
safety procedures outlined in your skid steer operator manual.
• Manual Lock: push the attachment lock levers all the way down to ensure pins are fully retracted
• Hydraulic Lock: Enter the loader, startup and use the hydraulic lock cylinder control to fully re-
tract the lock pins.
• Lower the lift arms and tilt the adapter forward.
• Drive the skid steer forward until the top edge of the adapter is completely under the top ange of
the attachment.
• Tilt the adapter backward until the front edge of the attachment is slightly o the ground to ensure
the mounting frame is tight to the adapter.
• Manual lock: stop the engine and exit the loader, pull up on the lock levers until they are fully en-
gaged in the locked position and lock pins fully extended.
• Hydraulic Lock: Activate the hydraulic lock cylinder control inside the cab, ensure the lock pins
are fully extended.

Operational Hazard
At rst use the hydraulic cylinders and hoses on this product may contain air or
an air-uid mixture. Failure to remove all the air from the hydraulic cylinders can
cause dangerous uneven, jerky cylinder movement during use.
