1. Read all instructions before using this appliance.
2. This appliance is hot when in use. To avoid burns, don’t let bare skin touch hot surfaces. The grill at the bottom
of this heater in particular will become hot when the heater is active. Keep combustible materials such as furniture,
pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains etc., at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from the front of the appliance.
Keep all items away from the sides and back of the appliance and take special care not to block the air intake or
exhaust vents. Use handle when moving this heater.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater
is left operating and unattended.
4. Always unplug this appliance when not in use
5. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or plug has been damaged or the heater has been damaged or
malfunctioned in any way. Take the appliance to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment or repair.
6. Do not use outdoors.
7. Do not use the appliance in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate the appliance
where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
8. Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throws, rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
Do not route cord under furniture or applicances. Take care to position the cord away from high traffic areas and
such that it cannot be tripped over.
9. To disconnect the appliance, turn all controls “OFF”, then remove the plug from the outlet.
10. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
11. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric
shock or fire, or damage the appliance.
12. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces like a
bed, where openings may become blocked.
13. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable
liquids are used or stored.
14. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
15. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power
tap.
16. Do not attempt to burn wood or other materials in this heater.
17. When transporting or storing the heater, take care to keep both the unit and power cord/plug dry, free from
excessive vibration, and away from heat sources.

MAINTENANCE
REPLACING LIGHT BULBS:
1. Ensure that all controls are “OFF”, the appliance is unplugged, and bulbs are cool to the touch.
2. Wear latex gloves to ensure that grease/oil from your hands does not transfer to the bulbs.
3. Remove back panel to access light bulbs.(see Fig B)
4. Remove the burnt out light bulb and replace with a new bulb. Hand-tighten the bulbs only--do not over tighten.
5. Replace back panel and screws.(see Fig B)
