• EXTENSION CORDS
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable
power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if
care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply cord or
extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on
unintentionally by children or the user.
• POLARIZED PLUG
This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized
outlet only one way. If plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not t contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE
• NOTICE: Ensure the product is securely assembled before plugging it into
an electrical outlet.
• WARNING: The Blade is sharp; handle with care.
• Place the product on a at, level, stable surface and ensure the product
is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
• Insert the Lever/Blade Assembly into the Keyhole in the Motor Housing
(see Fig. 1) and then slide the Magnet Assembly into the slot under the
Lever until it snaps into place (see Fig. 2).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Do not use this product to open cans of ammable materials or
pressurized cans.
1 . Plug the product into a electrical outlet according to the electrical
specications of the product.
2 . Raise the lever and align the rim of the can with the top of the drive wheel.
3 . Push the lever down until the Blade punctures the lid of the can and the
magnet attaches to the can.
HOW TO OPERATE
BEFORE FIRST USE:
1 . Unpack the product and all it parts. Remove all packaging materials,
including any stickers or labels.
2 . Read these instructions carefully.
3 . Clean the exterior surface of the product with a damp cloth. Wipe dry with a
soft cloth immediately. Do not use abrasive materials.
4 . NEVER IMMERSE PRODUCT OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
5 . You may stu excess cord into the back of the unit and feed the cord through
the notch for convenient storage.
6 . Position the product on a stable, dry, at, heat-resistant surface near an
electrical outlet.
7 . Unroll the electrical cord.
8 . Operate this product on a separate outlet and circuit from other appliances
to avoid overloading the circuit.

4 . Push the lever further down to activate the drive wheel.
5 . When the can and lid have been separated, hold the can with one hand and
raise the lever with the other hand to remove the can.
6 . NOTE: To stop the product during the process, raise the lever.
7 . Carefully remove the lid from the magnet.
1 . This can opener should not be used to open cans designed to be opened by
another method, such as a pull tab, peel-o foil seal, or rolling key. This can
opener will not open rimless cans or cans with angled corners.
2 . If there is a dent in the rim of a can, open the other end or start the cutting
action just beyond the dent. Cans with heavy seams, uneven rims or odd
shapes may cause the can opener to stall, If this occurs, turn the can slightly
by hand to aid the cutting action.
3 . Frozen juices or foods in cardboard cans should be opened as soon as they
are removed from the freezer. Aluminum lids will not stick to the magnet.
CAN OPENING TIPS
CAUTION: Avoid contact with the edges of the can or lids as they are sharp.
Carefully remove the lid from the magnet and discard.
NOTE: When opening cans continuously, do not exceed opening 5 cans in row,
with rest periods of 15 seconds.

To open a bottle, grasp it and position the cap
under the metal hook part in the bottle opener
(see Fig. 3).
Important: Be sure the metal hook part is not
under the bottle neck, or the glass may break.
Hold the can opener with one hand and pull
down to pop the cap o with the other one.
The bottle opener at the front of the unit will
only remove metal bottle caps. Do not use it for
screw-o caps; punch in tabs, or on cans with
pull ring.
TO OPEN BOTTLES
HOW TO USE THE
KNIFE SHARPENER
Unplug the power supply, and then place the knife
which is intended to be sharpened in the slot of
knife sharpener at the back of the unit. For best
results, sharpen the entire length carefully pulling
the knife through the slot back and forth (see
Fig. 5), until you achieve desired sharpness. After
sharpening, wash and dry the knife.

Proper maintenance will ensure years of use of your product. Clean the product
after every use following these steps. This product contains no user serviceable
parts and requires little maintenance.
• Make sure to unplug the power cord before cleaning.
• Dissasemble the lever.
• Carefully brush the blade and the sharpener to remove residues.
• Clean the outside of the product with a damp cloth.

ANY LIQUIDS.
1 . After following the steps of cleaning and maintenance, collect the power cord.
2 . Store the appliance in a dry and clean place.

2. Do not attempt to sharpen serrated blades, as this will smooth their edges.
3. Do not attempt to sharpen scissors.

• CABLES DE EXTENSIÓN
Se provee un cordón eléctrico corto para reducir el riesgo de enredarse o trope-
zar con un cable/cordón largo. Pueden usarse cables de extensión más largos si
se toman las precauciones necesarias en su uso. Si se usa cable de extensión:
1. Las características eléctricas del cable de extensión deben ser iguales o supe-
riores a las del artefacto.
2. El cable debe colocarse de forma que no cuelgue para evitar que se pueda
tropezar, enredarse o tirar del accidentalmente (especialmente por niños).
• ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
Este electrodoméstico tiene un enchufe polarizado (una pata del enchufe es
más ancha que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, este enchufe
está diseñado para entrar de un sólo modo en la toma eléctrica. Si el enchufe
no entra totalmente en la toma de corriente, invierta su posición. Si aun así no
entrase, póngase en contacto con un electricista calicado. No intente modicar
el enchufe de ninguna manera.

COMO ENSAMBLAR
• AVISO: asegúrese de que el producto esté bien acoplado antes de
conectarlo a una toma eléctrica.
• ADVERTENCIA: La cuchilla tiene lo, manejar con cuidado.
• Coloque el producto sobre una supercie plana y nivelada y asegúrese de
que el producto esté desconectado de la toma de corriente.
• Inserte el conjunto de la palanca / cuchilla en el agujero de la cerradura de
la caja del motor (ver g. 1) y deslice el conjunto de imanes en la ranura que
esta debajo de la palanca hasta que encaje en su lugar (ver g. 2).

FUNCIONAMIENTO
ANTES DEL PRIMER USO:
1 . Desempaque cuidadosamente el artefacto y todas las partes. Retire todo los
materiales de embalaje, incluyendo las pegatinas (las etiquetas).
2 . Lea las instrucciones de uso cuidadosamente.
3 . Limpie las supercie del artefacto con un paño húmedo. Seque con un paño
suave de inmediato. No use materiales abrasivos.
4 . NUNCA SUMERJA EL ARTEFACTO O EL CABLE EN AGUA U OTROS LÍQUIDOS.
5 . Coloque el artefacto en un lugar estable, seco, y resistente al calor.
6 . Desenrolle el cordón eléctrico.
7 . Utilice este artefacto en una toma de corriente y circuito separado del circuito de
otros aparatos para evitar la sobrecarga del circuito.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO:
ADVERTENCIA: No utilice este producto para abrir latas de materiales inamables o
latas presurizadas.
1 . Conecte el producto a una toma de corriente de corriente alterna estándar
segun las especicaciones electricas del producto.
2 . Levante la palanca y alinee el borde de la lata con la parte superior de la rueda
motriz.
3 . Empuje la palanca hacia abajo hasta que la hoja de la cuchilla penetre en la tapa
de la lata y el imán se adhiera a la lata.
4 . Empuje la palanca aún más hacia abajo para activar la rueda motriz.
5 . Cuando la lata y la tapa se han separado , mantenga la lata con una mano y
levante la palanca con la otra mano para retirar la lata.
6 . NOTA: para detener el producto durante el proceso, levante la palanca.
7 . Retire con cuidado la tapa del imán.

1. Este abrelatas no se debe utilizar para abrir latas diseñadas para ser abiertas
por otro método, como una lengüeta de arrastre, sello despegable o llave
rodante. Este abrelatas no abre latas sin montura o latas con esquinas en
ángulo.
2. Si hay una abolladura en el borde de una lata, abrala por el otro extremo
o inicie la acción de corte más allá de la abolladura. Latas con monturas
dobladas, o formas extrañas pueden causar que el abrelatas se detenga, si
esto ocurre , agarre la lata con la mano para ayudar a la acción de corte .
3. Jugos congelados o los alimentos envasados en envases de cartón deben
abrirse en cuanto se retiran del congelador. Tapas de aluminio no se
adhieren al imán.
RECOMENDACIONES PARA ABRIR LATAS
ABRIR LAS BOTELLAS
Desconecte el aparato.
Para abrir una botella, captar y colocar la tapa debajo
de la parte del gancho de metal en el abridor de
botellas (ver g. 3)
Importante: Asegúrese de que la parte del cuello de
vidrio de la botella no se encuentre debajo del gancho
de metal o el cristal se puede romper . Sostenga el
abrelatas con una mano y tire hacia abajo la botella
para que salga la tapa.
El abridor de botellas en la parte delantera de la
unidad sólo remueve tapas de botellas de metal . No
lo utilice para tapones de rosca, o en latas con tapa
con anillo . g. 3

CÓMO USAR AFILADOR
CONSEJOS PARA EL AFILADO DE CUCHILLOS
1. Cuchillos limpios y secos antes de alar .
2. No trate de alar cuchillos de sierra , ya que esto puede suavizar los bordes.
3. No intente alar tijeras.
Desconecte la fuente de alimentación.
A continuación, colocar el cuchillo que quiere alar
en la ranura de alador de cuchillos que se encuentra
en la parte posterior de la unidad. Para obtener
mejores resultados ale el cuchillo cuidadosamente
a todo lo largo halándolo a través de la ranura hacia
adelante y hacia atrás (ver g. 4), hasta lograr el lo
deseado. Después de alar, lave y seque el cuchillo.
Nota : Maneje con cuidado el cuchillo después del
alado.

ALMACENAJE
1 . Luego de seguir los pasos de limpieza y mantenimiento, recoja el cordón
eléctrico.
2 . Guarde el artefacto en un lugar seco y limpio.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
El mantenimiento adecuado asegurará muchos años de uso de su artefacto.
Limpie el artefacto después de cada uso. Este artefacto no contiene piezas
reparables por el usuario y requiere poco mantenimiento.
• Asegurese de desconectar el producto antes de limpiar.
• Desensamble la pieza que contiene la cuchilla y el imán.
• Cuidadosamente cepille la cuchilla y el alador para eliminar cualquier
residuo.
• Limpie el exterior del producto con un paño seco.
