air-processing appliance, designed to offer you the functions of; Air
Conditioning, Dehumidifying and Independent Fan. Each individual mode, is
featured with “oscillating” air swing capabilities. This unit can be conveniently
moved from room to room within your home and set-up in just minutes. Imagine

Owner’s Manual will provide you with valuable information necessary for the
proper care and maintenance of your new appliance. If properly maintained,
your appliance will give you many years of trouble free operation. Please take
a few moments and read the instructions thoroughly and familiarize yourself
with all of the operational aspects of this appliance.

(4) The appliance shall beinstalled in accordancewith national wiringregulation.

(6) If thepower cord isdamaged, it mustbe replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or
similarly qualified personsin order toavoid a hazard.
CAUTION:
This room airconditioner must beconnected to apower outlet with grounding connection.
Do not installthe unit atplace where leakageof gas may occur and/or in an explosive atmosphere.
Do not operateor stop theunit by insertingor pulling out the power plug.
Do not sharethe outlet withother appliances.
Do not operatewith wet hands
Do not insertanything into theair outlet.
Do not exposeskin or eyesdirectly to coolair for a long period of time.
If an abnormalodour or smokecomes out ofthe unit, disconnect immediately the unit and please
report to aqualified service centre.
When opening thefilter cover,do not touchthe fins of heat exchanger in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not cleanthe unit withwater.
Before cleaning, pleaseturn off the unit anddisconnect theAC power cord.
Do not puta pet ora plant in direct exposition to the air flow.
Do not applyan insecticide orflammable spray onthe unit
Do not puta stove, etc,where it wouldbe exposed to the direct air flow. It may affect combustion.
Do not stepon the unitor place anythingon it.
Do not installthe unit whereflammable gas couldleak.
Check periodically forwater level inthe drain tank.
DISPOSING OF THE UNIT
This product mustnot be disposedtogether with thedomestic waste.
This product hasto be disposedat an authorizedplace for recycling
of electrical andelectronic appliances.
Do not modifythe length ofthe power cord.
For appliances with supplementary heaters, the minimum clearance
from the appliance to combustible surfaces shall exceed 80mm.
The lead wire of PTC heater must be first led through the round ostiole
at the air channel board assembly then to the bottom of the motor holder
and finally connect with the electric control board.
The PTC Rated Power is1400W.

Window Kit Installation
SPECIAL NOTE: The drain hose (standard gardenhose) for the direct drain application is not
included with thisunit but canbe purchased throughany local Hardware Store. The
exhaust/window kit mustbe installed atall times whenthe unit is operating under the AIR
CONDITIONING mode.
Location Requirements
There should beat least 11.8" (30 cm) clearance between the unit and any other objects or
building structure andshould be installedon a levelsurface.(FIG.2) The unit does nothave to
be vented outsideduring Dehumidifying/Fan modeoperation, it isrecommended however that
the hoses remaininstalled (on unit)during dehumidification.
1) Select asuitable location, makingsure you haveaccess to an electrical outlet.
4) Install theadjustable Window SliderKit as required.FIG.4-5.
2) Fix thehose collar andthe window exhaustadapter to the flexible exhaust hose.
5) Install thewindow exhaust adapterinto the openingin the slider section, making sure the
window slider sectionare secure.
CAUTION
Do not leavethis unit unattendedin a spacewhere people or animals who cannot react to a failed
unit are located.Afailed unit can cause extreme overheating or death in such an enclosed,
unattended space.
Electric Shock Hazard
To avoid the possibility of personal injury, disconnect power to the unit before installing or servicing.
3) Fix thehose collar tothe exhaust terminalof the unit. FIG.3.

INSTALLATION EXPLANATIONS
1. Correct mounting shown below (If mounting in the wall, the height of the hole should be 16”(40cm)~

OPERATION PANEL
The controls featured in this manual are representative of many models available. Your model may
look slightly different.
1. ON/OFF button
Turns on/off the air conditioner.
Note: If the air conditioner is off and then is turned on while set at the cool or dry mode, it will take
approximately 3 minutes for the compressor to start and for cooling or dry operation to begin.

3. TIMER SET button (Timer range: 0.5-24 hours)
Notice: After 10 seconds of AUTO-OFF timer being set, room actual temperature will resume to be displayed.
1). When the unit is on, press the button once to check the AUTO-OFF time that will be displayed for
10 seconds. If no AUTO-OFF time is set, “ 0 ” will be shown on the display and you can press the
button to activate the AUTO-OFF timer function. Before 10 hours, every press of button increases
the AUTO-OFF time by 0.5 hour, after 10 hours, every press of button increases the AUTO-OFF
time by 1 hour. You can refer to the following:

At DRY mode, fan speed button is not functional.
5. FAN SPEED button …
Notice: After AUTO-ON timer is set, AUTO-ON time will be displayed all the time before the air conditioner
is turned on.
2). When the unit is off, press the button once to check the AUTO-ON time that will be displayed for
10 seconds. If no AUTO-ON time is set, “ 0 ” will be shown on the display and you can press the button
to activate the AUTO-ON timer function. Before 10 hours, every press of button increases the
AUTO-ON time by 0.5 hour, after 10 hours, every press of button increases the AUTO-ON time by
1 hour. You can refer to the following:

3). To cancel AUTO-ON/OFF timer operation, press button continuously until “ ” appears for 10
seconds in the LED window on the operation panel, then automatically reverts back to display actual
room temperature.
4. TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT button
Press the button or to select a suitable operating temperature. Temperature settings are adjustable
between 16 to 31 . At cool mode when the unit is on, press button or once to check the set
temperature. The set temperature will be displayed for 10 seconds then automatically revert back to
display actual room ambient temperature conditions.
At fan mode, both button or are not functional.
Note: the set operating temperature must be programmed within the 10 seconds of set temperature
displaying. Every press of button increases the set operating temperature by 1 , every press of
button decreases the set operating temperature by 1 .
At SLEEP mode, Press the button to stop SLEEP mode.
Press and at one time, can switch centigrade to Fahrenheit.

3.Remove the batteries if the remote controller is not to be used for long periods of time.

0.5 hour; after 10 hours, every press of button or increases or decreases the AUTO-OFF

not flash on the display. Meanwhile, the set temperature will revert back to be displayed. To view
AUTO-OFF time, press button .
AUTO-OFF TIMER OPERATION
1. when the air conditioner is off to initiate the AUTO-ON TIMER function. Meanwhile,
“ ”of “ ” starts to flash on the display.

FUNCTION SPECIFICATIONS
1.
AUTO mode
In this mode, the air conditioner can automatically adjust the room temperature to decide the most suitable
temperature. At the start of operation, the air conditioner will automatically select the operation mode
according to the room temperature. The following table shows the conditions which are set at start up.

When the room temperature is higher than the set temperature, the compressor starts; when the room
temperature is lower than the set temperature, the compressor stops.
DRY mode

In this mode, the air conditioner automatically sets the room temperature.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT button and FAN SPEED button are not functional.
Dry operation is not available when the room temperature is lower than 13 .
In this mode, the compressor doesn't operate. The unit fan alone operates.
Press FAN SPEED button to change the fan speed.

Press of FAN SPEED button can quit SLEEP mode.
At cool mode, after one hour of operation the set temperature will increase by 1 . One hour later, the
set temperature will increase by 1 once more. The unit will then continue operating at 2 above the
set temperature.

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
4. Wipe thefilter with asoft cloth soakedin water and dry it
thoroughly in theshade.
1. Please usedamp cloth toclean the enclosureof the unit.
2. Do notwash the unitdirectly under atap or using a hose.
3. If thepower cord isdamaged, it shouldbe repaired by manufacturer or its agency.
Before cleaning or servicing this unit, be sure to disconnect
the unit from any electrical supply outlet.
Cleaning the Air Filter
If the air filter is clogged with dust/dirt, the air flow volume will reduce. Clean the filter once every
two weeks.
2. Pull out the air filter in the direction of the arrow.(FIG.9)
3. Dust/Dirt clogged in the filter can be removed by vacuum cleaner.
If filter is very dirty, wash it in lukewarm soapy water while rubbing
it gently with a brush. A mild detergent is recommended.
5. Replace theair filter asit was.
Before a long idle period
1. Remove the drain plug and drain water completely.
2. Set the fan going for a few hours to dry out the inside completely.
3. Switch off the air conditioner and unplug it from the wall socket. Clean the filter and outer surface.
5.Takeout batteries fromremote controller andstore with air conditioner in a clean, dry area.
6. Remove air exhaust hose and store with air conditioner in a clean, dry area.
Drainage method: youcan drain thewater out witha drain
pipe, it isincluded in theaccessory. But first you should put
the drain panunder the drainmouth, then takeout the plug
on the drainmouth, and connectthe drain pipeto the drain
mouth, thus thewater can flowinto the drainpan first and
can not makethe floor dirty. See FIG.10

1. Press ON/OFF button to turn off the air conditioner and pull the
plug out of the wall socket.
4.Reinstall the filter.
2. Alwaysempty the draintank before attemptingto move or re-locate the unit to another location.
3. If theunit is notto be usedfor long periods of time, empty the drain tank.

the display, empty the drain tank.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
CAUTION
Plug out and stop running immediately in case of something below
happens, then contact with the specific Installation and maintenance Dept.
The fuse and switch often break.
The power cord superheat or the sleeve of the cord broken.
Something abnormal.

If the air conditioner has something wrong ,the diagnostic systems will
indicate the fault reasons as follows.
