Pleaseplacetheappliancesonoobstaclesinterfereorimpedetheflowofairthroughthe
ventilationopenings.
HEAT:
Theapplianceshouldbesituatedawayfromotherheatsourcessuchasheaters,radiators,ovens,

Makesureyourapplianceissettothecorrectvoltageforthecountryinwhichitwillbeuse
beforeswitchingthedeviceON.
GROUNDING & POLARIZATION:
Precautionsshouldbetakensothatthegroundingorpolarizationmeansofanapplianceisnot
defeated.
POWER-CORD PROTECTION:
Powersupplycordsshouldberoutedsothattheyarenotlikelytobewalkedon,pinched,
damaged,worn,orrubbedbyanyotherdeviceorobstacle.

CLEANING:
Theapplianceshouldbecleanedonlywithalightsoftcloth.Donotuseanydamagingor

PERIODS OF INACTIVITY:
Thepowercordoftheapplianceshouldbeunpluggedfromtheoutletwhenleftun‐usedfora
longperiodoftimeorincasealightningstormoccurs.
DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE:
Theapplianceshouldbeservicedbyqualifiedservicepersonnelwhen:
•Thepowersupplycordortheplughasbeendamaged;ortherisingthequality.
•Objectshavefallen,orliquidhasbeenspilledintotheappliance;or
•Theappliancehasbeenexposedtorain;or
•Theappliancedoesnotappeartooperatenormallyorexhibitsamarkedchange
inperformance;or
•Theappliancehasbeendropped,ortheenclosuredamaged.
SERVICING:
TheusershouldnotattempttoservicetheappliancebeyondthatisdescribedintheOperating
Instructions.
INSTALLATION
EveryHOMEASYgearwascarefullypackedinthefactoryandthepackagingwasdesignedto
protecttheunitfromroughhandling.Nevertheless,werecommendthatyoucarefullyexamine
thepackaginganditscontentsforanysignsofphysicaldamage,whichmayhaveoccurredin
transit.
Iftheunitisdamaged,pleasedonotreturnittous,butnotifyyourdealerandtheshipping
companyimmediately,otherwiseclaimsfordamageorreplacementmaynotbegranted.
Shippingclaimsmustbemadebytheconsignee.

Ifyouarenotaprofessionalmusicman,oryoudon’twishtohaveabig2U‐rackgeartousein
theproaudiocabinet,HOMEASYM3Rwouldbeyourbestchoiceindeed,asitisatruedesktop
proaudiogear.Althoughsmallerandcheaperthantheotherstandard2‐CHmicpreampsfrom
AC‐AUDIO,suchasG32andG52,M3Rwouldbeamostsuitablepreforquasi‐professionaland
consumerusersatlimitedcost,whichiscompletelyabletoprovidepurepre‐amplifying
performance.
M3Rprovidesindependentphantompowerforeverychannel,aswellasthegaincontrol
from‐20dBto+40dB.Thecompletelymetalliccoverandpanelsgivewonderfulperformance
againstexternalinterference.Furthermore,M3RadoptsNE5532high‐classtransistoroperational
amplifiermodule,whichhashighercapabilitythan4558toacquiremorepure,clear
pre‐amplifying.

How to use the HOMEASY M3R?
TouseeasilyistheaimofHOMEASYSeriesgears.SoitisquiteeasytouseandoperatetheM3R.
Eachofthetwopre‐amplifierchannelshasitsowninputandoutputandvariablegaincontrol
individually.
Step1SimplyconnectasignalforprocessingtooneoftheXLRbalancedinputsonthefrontof
theM3R.
Step2MakeaconnectionfromthecorrespondingchanneloutputonthefrontoftheM3Rto
yourdesireddestination(Mixer,recorder,etc).
Step3Adjustthevariablegaincontroltothedesiredpre‐amplifiedlevel.Toensureyoudonot
overpre‐amplifyyoursignalapeakclipindicatorlighthasbeenprovidedonthefrontpanelof
theM3Rforeachchannel.Whenilluminated,thislightindicatesthatthepreamplifieris
overloadedandthatdistortionwilloccur.Pleaseturndownthevariablegaincontrolforthe
currentlyselectedchanneluntilthepeakcliplightisnolongerilluminated.Alwaystrustyourears;
thePeakLEDisafterthegaincontrolsoyoucouldactuallydistorttheinputwithaveryhighlevel.

Warranty
AC‐AUDIOwarrantsthemechanicalandelectroniccomponentsofthisproducttobefreeof
defectsinmaterialandworkmanshipforaperiodofoneyearfromtheoriginaldateofpurchase,
inaccordancewiththewarrantyregulationsdescribedbelow.Ifanydefectsoccurwithinthe
specifiedwarrantyperiodthatarenotcausedbynormalwearorinappropriateuse,AC‐AUDIO
shall,atitssolediscretion,eitherrepairorreplacetheproduct.
Warranty Regulations
1.Warrantyserviceswillbefurnishedonlyiftheproductisaccompaniedbyanoriginalretail
dealer‘sinvoice.AnyproductdeemedeligibleforrepairorreplacementbyAC‐AUDIOunderthe
termsofthiswarrantywillberepairedorreplacedinthebestpossiblemanner.
2.Iftheproductneedstobemodifiedoradaptedinordertocomplywithapplicabletechnicalor
safetystandardsonanationalorlocallevel,inanycountrywhichisnotthecountryforwhichthe
productwasoriginallydevelopedandmanufactured,thismodification/adaptationshallnotbe
consideredadefectinmaterialsorworkmanship.
Thewarrantydoesnotcoveranysuchmodification/adaptation,irrespectiveofwhetheritwas
carriedoutproperlyornot.Underthetermsofthiswarranty,AC‐AUDIOshallnotbeheld
responsibleforanycostresultingfromsuchamodification/adaptation.
3.Freeinspections,maintenance/repairworkandreplacementofpartsareexpresslyexcluded
fromthiswarranty,inparticularifcausedbyinappropriateuse.Likewise,thewarrantydoesnot
coverdefectsofexpendablepartscausedbynormalwearoftheproduct.Expendablepartsare
typicallypots,potentiometers,switchesandsimilarcomponents.
4.Damages/defectscausedbythefollowingconditionsarenotcoveredbythiswarranty:
● Misuse,neglectorfailuretooperatetheunitincompliancewiththeinstructionsgiveninthe
userorservicemanuals.
● Connectionoroperationoftheunitinanywaythatdoesnotcomplywiththetechnicalor
safetyregulationsapplicableinthecountrywheretheproductisused.
● Damages/defectsthatarecausedbyanyotherconditionbeyondthecontrolofAC‐AUDIO.
5.Anyrepaircarriedoutbyunauthorizedpersonnelwillvoidthewarranty.
6.Productswhichdonotmeetthetermsofthiswarrantywillberepairedexclusivelyatthe
buyer‘sexpense.Anyrepairorreplacementshallbereferredtothelocaldealerordistributorof
AC‐AUDIO.
7.Thiswarrantydoesnotexcludeorlimitthebuyer‘sstatutoryrightsprovidedbynationallaw,in
particular,anysuchrightsagainstthesellerthatarisefromalegallyeffectivepurchasecontract.
Theinformationcontainedinthismanualissubjecttochangewithoutnotice.Nopartofthis
manualmaybereproducedortransmittedinanyformorbyanymeans,electronicormechanical,
