Dachträger DO‘s and DONT‘s | Roof Rack DO‘s and Dont‘s
Wenn ein Canopy („Hardtop“) und ein Dachträger auf der
Kabine verbaut sind darf die Ladung nicht auf beiden
festgebunden werden! Der Dachträger und das Canopy
bewegen sich während der Fahrt unabhängig voneinander,
das kann zu Schäden an Ladung und Gurten führen! Daher
die Ladung nur auf dem Dachträger befestigen, auf dem
Canopy lediglich auegen.
When using a canopy („hardtop”) make sure not to x the
cargo to the roofrack and the Canopy! The roofrack on
the cabin and the Canopy can move independently while
driving, this can cause damage! So x the cargo to the roof
rack and only support it on the Canopy.

Zusammenbau des Haltefuß der Beifahrerseite / assembly of the codriver side bracketAbb.01
Beginne in dem du die beiden Montagefüße zusammenbaust. Verschraube die HFOTRL1RR02FIT_hi und
HFOTRL1RR02FIT_vo wie in Abb. 01 und Abb. 02 gezeigt mit M8x16mm Schrauben in den HFOTRL1RR02FIT_
con.
Start by bolting HFOTRL1RR02FIT_hi and HFOTRL1RR02FIT_vo like shown in Abb. 01 & Abb. 02 using the
M8x16mm into HFOTRL1RR02FIT_con.

Beginne, indem du die Verschlussstopfen von den Montagepunkten am Dach abschraubst. Dan miss, wie in Abb.
03 gezeigt, die Distanz zwischen den vorderen und den hintern Montagepunkten. Schreibe diese Werte auf.
Begin by unbolting the OEM covers of the mounting threads in the cars roof. Next measure the distance between
the front and the rear mounting threads, like shown in Abb. 03, write them down for later.

Die Montagefüße mit den Nutensteinen (die ins Prol eingedreht werden können) so an den Dachträger
verschrauben, dass sie noch verschiebbar sind. Den Abstand der Befestigungsö󰀨nungen entsprechend den
vorher aufgeschriebenen Werten einstellen (wie in Abb. 04 & 05 gezeigt).
Alle Schrauben, die in die eindrehbaren Nutensteine verschraubt werden, werden mit 17Nm festgezogen
und mit Schraubensicherung (Loctite 243 o.Ä.) gesichert.
Using the slot nuts (that can be rotated into the prole) attach the mounting feet to the rack platform. Don’t tighten
the bolts fully yet, ensure that you can still move the brackets. Adjust the brackets so the distance between the
mounting holes meets the one you measured earlier on the car (like shown in Abb. 04 & Abb. 05). All bolts that
get bolted into the swivel type slot nuts are torqued down with 17Nm and secured with thread locker
(Loctite 243 or similar).

Mit den originalen Gummi Unterlagen auf den Montagebohrungen platziere den Dachträger samt Füßen
vorsichtig auf dem Fahrzeugdach. Prüfe ob die Ö󰀨nungen für die Schrauben mit den Gewinden im Fahrzeugdach
übereinstimmen, falls notwendig die Montagefüße verschieben und mit den M8x 16mm Schrauben und
Unterlegscheiben xieren. Trage einen leichten Film aus Silikon auf die Schrauben auf, um zu verhindern, dass
Wasser durch die Gewinde nach innen gelangen kann. Wenn alles korrekt ausgerichtet ist die Schrauben anhand
der Drehmoment Tabelle am Ende dieser Anleitung festziehen.
With the OEM rubber washers over the threaded holes place the roofrack with its mounting brackets on the
cars roof. Ensure that the holes align with the threaded holes in the cars roof. If necessary, move the mounting
brackets to make them align. Using the M8x16mm bolts with washers bolt the assembly down. Apply a light
layer of silicone on the threads of the bolts to prevent water from going through the threads. When everything is
aligned properly torque down all bolts in addition to the torque diagram on the last page of this manual.

crossmemer with the edges

Sollte der Dachträger schon zusammengebaut sein muss die vorderste Querstrebe nach vorne ausgebaut
werden Abb. 07.
If the roof rack is already assembled detach the frontmost cross member like shown in Abb.07.
