1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read these instructions thoroughly before using this product and retain them for
future use.
WARNING: This appliance must be earthed.
-This Ice Maker is intended for household use only. For indoor use only.
-If the power cord is damaged a replacement must be obtained from the manufacturer.
-Hold the plug firmly when removing it; do not pull the power cord.
-Do not place the appliance near an open flame, cooking or heating appliance, or hot
surface.
-To avoid electric shock do not open the casing. There are no user serviceable parts
inside.
-Switch off the power and remove the plug when cleaning the appliance and when the
appliance is not in use.
-Do not operate the appliance if it has been damaged in any way.
-The appliance must not be transported at an inclined angle greater than 45°.
-Do not turn the Ice Maker upside down; as this could cause the compressor or
refrigerating system to malfunction.
-A clearance of 150mm should be provided around the appliance to allow air to circulate.
-Thoroughly clean the Water Tank and Ice Container before and after use.
-Change the water regularly to ensure the quality of the ice cubes.
-NOTE: Only use still, potable water in the Ice Maker.
-Do not fill the Water Tank above the ‘Max’ level mark.
-If the power is switched off whilst the appliance is operating, please wait 3 minutes before
switching the power back on again.
-Before storing the Ice Maker, drain out the water and dry out the Water Tank and Ice
Container.
-The appliance contains flammable insulation foam and refrigeration gases, please
dispose of the appliance properly, inline with local recycling regulations.
-This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.

NOTE: Please clean the inside of the Ice Maker thoroughly before use. (See Section 3)
NOTE: The first batches of ice cubes produced may not be full size. A batch of 12 full sized
ice cubes will be produced after approximately 25 minutes. Subsequent batches of ice
cubes will be produced every 8 - 12 minutes.
NOTE: Before using the Ice Maker for the first time, please stand it upright for approximately
2 hours to allow the cooling system to stabilise, following transportation.
2. Operation
a) Setting up the Ice Maker
1. Position the Ice Maker on a sturdy flat surface, ensuring that there is a minimum of
150mm clearance around the appliance to allow air to circulate.
2. Pull out the Ice Drawer and remove all items that have been packaged inside (Supply
cord, water container & ice scoop).
3. Wipe the inside of the Ice Drawer and the Water Tank with a clean damp cloth.
4. Check that the Drain Cap, at the rear of the appliance, is securely in place.
5. Use the Water Container supplied to pour potable water into the Water Tank, to a level
between the ‘Min’ and ‘Max’ indicators.
6. Plug the supply cord into the socket, at the rear of the appliance.
7. Insert the plug into a socket with a 220-240V 50Hz supply and switch on the mains.
WARNING: This appliance must be earthed.
8. The display on the Ice Maker will power up and the 24 hour clock will start.
9. The ice making cycle can now be started and stopped by pressing the ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’
buttons respectively.
10.For the Ice Maker to make ice during a set period then the 24 hour clock and the start
and stop times need to be set.
b) Ice Making Cycle
The ice making cycle has 5 steps:
1. Pumping water from the water tank up to the water tray.
2. Operating the refrigeration system to create the ice cubes.
3. Emptying the excess water from the water tray, back into the water tank.
4. Releasing the ice cubes into the ice drawer.
5. Returning the water tray to its upright position.
This cycle continues until the Ice Drawer is full of ice cubes or there is insufficient water in
the water tank.

c) Control Panel
Press this button to start the ice making cycle.
Press this button to stop the ice making cycle.
Press this button when you want to change the 24 hour clock or when you want to set
the ‘on’ and ‘off’ times for the ice maker.
Press this button to set the time.
Ice full indicator. This turns on when the Ice Drawer is full of ice.
Low water indicator. This turns on if there is not enough water in the Water Tank.
Note: Please ensure that the water is not filled over the ‘max’ water level.
Ice making indicator. This is on when the machine is running and making ice.
’Time on’ and ‘Time off’ indicators. These indicate the times that have been set for the
Ice Maker to automatically turn on and turn off.

d) Setting the 24 hour clock
1. Press the ‘Time’ button and the hours digits will start to flash on the display.
2. Press the ‘Set’ button repeatedly to increment the hours until the required digits are
displayed.
3. Press the ‘Time’ button again and the minutes digits with start to flash on the display.
4. Press the ‘Set’ button repeatedly to increment the minutes until the required digits are
displayed.

e) Setting the ON and OFF Times
1. If the 24 hour clock has previously been set (as detailed above) then press the ‘Time’
button 3 times so that the ‘Time ON’ symbol is displayed and the hours digits are flashing.
If setting the ‘ON’ time at the same time as setting the 24 hour clock, then just pressing
the ‘Time’ button once will enter this mode.
2. Press the ‘Set’ button repeatedly to increment the hours until the required digits are
displayed.
3. Press the ‘Time’ button again and the minutes digits with start to flash on the display.
4. Press the ‘Set’ button repeatedly to increment the minutes until the required digits are
displayed.
5. Press the ‘Time’ button again so that the ‘Time OFF’ symbol is displayed and the hours
digits are flashing.
6. Press the ‘Set’ button repeatedly to increment the hours until the required digits are
displayed.
7. Press the ‘Time’ button again and the minutes digits with start to flash on the display.
8. Press the ‘Set’ button repeatedly to increment the minutes until the required digits are
displayed.
9. Press the ’Time’ button again to return to standby mode.
10.Pressing the ‘Set’ button repeatedly will scroll through the operating modes: Timer ON,
Timer OFF, Timer ON & OFF and Standby.
Timer ON mode: The Ice Maker will automatically start the ice making cycle when the
set ON time is reached. The ‘Off’ button will then need to be pressed when the user
wants to stop the appliance making ice.
Timer OFF mode: The Ice Maker will automatically stop the ice making cycle when the
set OFF time has been reached. The Ice Maker must have previously been started
manually for this mode to function.
Timer ON & OFF mode: The Ice Maker will automatically start the ice making cycle
when the set ON time is reached and automatically stop the ice making cycle when the
set OFF time is reached.
Standby Mode: The Ice maker can be started by pressing the ON button or the SET
button can be pressed to select the Timer ON or Timer ON & OFF modes.
f) Ice Full Indicator
When the Ice Drawer is full of ice the Ice Full Indicator will come on, the buzzer will
sound and the ice making cycle will stop. The ice needs to be removed before the Ice Maker
can make any more ice. Once the ice is emptied, the Ice Maker will automatically restart
within a few minutes.
g) Water Low Indicator
When there is insufficient water left in the Water Tank then the Water Low Indicator will
come on, the buzzer will sound and the ice making cycle will stop. Water needs to be added
and the ON button pressed to allow the ice making cycle to continue.

h) Removing the Ice Cubes
Slide the Ice Drawer forwards and use the Ice Scoop provided to remove the ice cubes.
Push the Ice Drawer back fully into position when the ice cubes have been removed.
i) Adding Water
Slide the Ice Drawer fully forwards and then tilt it up slightly to remove it from the unit. Use
the water container provided to pour potable water into the Water Tank, up to the ‘Max’ level.
If water is added whilst the ice making cycle is operating, then ensure that the water level is
below the ‘Max’ level to allow for the additional water that will empty into the Water Tank
from the water tray during the ice making cycle.
Return the Ice Drawer into its fully inserted position.
i) Draining the Unit
The drain point is located at the back of the unit, at the right hand side. Carefully position the
unit over a sink/drain and unscrew the plastic cap. The water will now drain from the Water
Tank. Slightly tilt the unit to the right hand side to ensure that all the water is removed.
Replace the plastic cap and tighten securely.
Note: The unit should be drained if it will not be used for some time and before the unit is
stored.
3. Cleaning and Maintenance
Note: Please clean the Ice Maker regularly.
-Before cleaning the unit, switch off the power and remove the plug. Remove any ice
cubes from the Ice Drawer and drain all the water from the Water Tank.
-Use a dilute mild detergent in water to clean the inside and outside of the Ice Maker with a
soft cloth. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not spray any liquids onto the appliance.
-Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
-When cleaning the inside of the appliance, take care not to damage the sensing probes.
-If the Ice Maker will not be used for some time, please remove any ice cubes, drain the
water from the Water Tank and thoroughly clean and dry the inside of the appliance.

5. Environmental Note

household waste. Instead it should be handed over to the applicable collection
point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Disposal must be
carried out in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste
disposal.

6. Trouble Shooting
