Charge the Hex using a micro USB cable:
1. Lift the rubber cap from the charging inlet.
2. Plug the cable into the micro USB port. Plug the other end
of the cable into an A/C or D/C power source.
3. The LED on the Hex will be red while charging
and green when fully charged
How to recharge the Hex using natural light:
1. Place the Hex under natural sunlight with the solar panel facing the
sunlight. The red indicator light will illuminate.
2. The brighter the light source the faster the Hex will recharge.

Using Bluetooth: Pairing your Device:
1. Turn on Bluetooth capability on your device and make it discoverable (see your
device's instructions to add or setup a Bluetooth device).
2. Turn on the Hex by holding down the power button until start up sounds plays
and the small indicator light turns green.
3. Press the mode button until you hear "Bluetooth".
4. Go to your device and connect to device that says "HybridLight".
5. The green light will flash while the unit attempts to pair. Once paired the flashing
green light will remain on.
Playing Audio via Bluetooth:
1. Press and hold the power button until the Hex turns on. The light will flash as
the unit searches for a previously paired device, and then remain green when
a previously paired device is detected and connected.
2. Press the play or pause buttons from your Hex device.
3. Press the buttons to navigate your music library.
4. Press and hold the V+/V- buttons to get the desired volume.
5. When done listening, press and hold the power button to turn the unit off.
Playing Audio via Aux:
1. Connect the 3.5 mm audio plug to the headphone or line-out jack on your audio
device.
2. Power on the audio device and place in play mode.
3. Press and hold the power button to turn on the unit and place the Hex in AUX mode
by pressing the mode button until you hear "Auxiliary".
4. Use the Volume V+/V- buttons to adjust volume. You may wish to adjust the volume
on your audio device, as well.

Using FM Radio:
1. Press and hold power button until Hex turns on.
2. Press Mode button until you hear "FM".
3. Press the buttons to find your desired station.
4. Press and hold the V+/V- buttons to get the desired volume.
Using the Hex Lighting:
1. Press the large power button once to turn on the lantern on.
a. Press and hold the power button on the first click to
adjust the brightness.
b. Continue holding the power button and after 7
seconds the lantern will start to blink.
2. Press the power button a second time consecutively for
the Flashlight to turn on.
Large Power Button
Using Micro SD Card:
1. Insert micro SD card that has MP3 music on it into the "Micro SD Slot".
2. Power on the Hex.
3. Press Mode button until you reach Micro SD mode.
4. Press the buttons to navigate through the songs.
5. Press and hold the V+/V- buttons to get the desired volume.
Charge mobile devices using Hex:
1. Lift rubber cap from the charging outlet.
2. Plug the cable into the USB Port. Plug the other end into your
mobile device.
