DEFROSTING DEFOGGING
1. Set the temperature control Ato the desired setting.
2. Set the fan speed Eto the highest setting.
3. Press the front windshield defrost control B.
NOTE:
• On the automatic climate control system, turn the fan speed control to the desired speed
to turn the fan on. Pressing the OFF button turns the fan off.
• If the air conditioner filter for the evaporator blower is not replaced per the scheduled
maintenance section, excessive window fogging may result. This filter is located in the
evaporator housing behind the glove box. Your authorized Hyundai dealer can replace this
filter for you.
• To speed up defogging and dehumidifying, the fresh air mode should be selected.

A• auto temperature – Push to activate
system for automatic heating and cooling.
• temperature control switch – Use
to select the degree of heating. Turn to the
left for cooler temperatures, turn to the right
for warmer temperatures.
BFRONT DEFROST SWITCH – Press to
activate / deactivate to clear the windshield
of fog and / or thin ice.
CDISPLAY WINDOW
DREAR WINDOW DEFROST SWITCH – Press
to activate / deactivate the rear defroster.
E• oFF – Press to turn off the fan.
• Blower Fan control switch – Use to
select the blower fan speed.
FFRESH AIR SYSTEM SWITCH – Push
to activate / deactivate. In this mode air
enters the vehicle from outside and is
heated or cooled according to the other
functions selected.
GAIR INTAKE CONTROL SWITCH – Push
to activate / deactivate. In this mode air
from within the passenger compartment
is drawn through the heating system and
is heated or cooled according to the other
functions selected.
HAIR CONDITIONING SWITCH – Press to
activate / deactivate air conditioning.
IMODE SWITCH – This controls the
flow of air. Air flow can be directed to
different levels.

SETTING PRESET MEMORY BUTTONS
(AM/FM OR XM®)
1. Turn radio on by pressing the
PWR button A.
2. Select AM, FM, or XM radio F.
3. Tune the Audio Control knob Dto the
desired channel.
4. Press and hold any preset button E
(1-6) until an audible beep is heard to
memorize the current channel.
NOTE: FM has 2 bands for up to 12 presets.
XM has 3 bands for up to 18 presets.
TUNING AND LISTENING TO XM CHANNELS
1. Press the XM button G.
2. Select an XM channel by turning the
Audio Control knob Dto scroll through the
XM channels.
3. Press the Audio Control knob Dto select
the desired XM channel.
CATEGORY SEARCH (XM)
1. While in XM mode, press the DIR p
or CAT qbutton Cto scroll through
music categories.
2. Press the Audio Control knob Dto select
the desired category.
SEEKING NEXT AVAILABLE CHANNEL
(AM/FM OR XM)
Press the SEEK or TRACK button Bto
seek the next available channel.
SCANNING THROUGH AUDIO CHANNELS
(AM/FM, XM, OR CD/MP3)
1. Press the SCAN button Ito preview
each channel / track.
2. Press the SCAN button Iagain to stop
the scan feature.
3. To scan through the channel presets, for
AM/FM/XM only, press and hold the SCAN
button Iuntil an audible beep is heard.
