1. S afety Guidelines


• This product is designed for indoor-use only

• Warranty becomes void when DC4DIN is dismantled or changed in any way

• Only a specialist is allowed to repair the product

• To prevent fire and electric shocks, protect product from water and moisture

• De-energize before opening the housing


Safety guidelines for proper use:
Cautionwithheatandhightemperatures.
Keep product away from extreme temperatures, moisture, or dust.
Keep product away from direct and diffuse solar radiation and heat sources.
Operating Temperature: 0°C (32°F) - +40°C (104°F).
Protect product from moisture, water and dust!
Do not operate close to fluids.
Always operate on solid ground and avoid vibrations.
Do not use chemical cleaning agents!
Before cleaning the product, de-energize!
Malfunctions!
The user should not try to repair the product by himself.
All repairs and services should be handled by a qualified technician.




Warranty claims expire when damage is caused to the unit by dismantling or altering the product.
The producer and importer do not assume any liability for consequential loss, which results from

Only trained and instructed specialists are allowed to do the correct electrical
connection/installation.

2. Introduction

Thanks you for buying our product.
Check the product and packing for transportation damage*
Read the user manual carefully, before starting up the DC4DIN.
The unit is used as a signal channel dimmer/DMX decoder. Maximum load 3A, per single channel
output.
By adjusting dip switches, DMX addresses can be determined.
Dimmer works in DMX Control Modes, as well as in manual dimmer modes


3. Scope of delivery

You should be in possession of the following:
• 1 illuminFx LED Dimmer 4

• 1 User Manual

• 1 screwdriver

*Should you detect damage caused by transportation please contact illuminFx.
Never connect a damaged unit.
Beyond that: Please inform your supplier.





DMX to RGBW converter that can be used with any DMX512 controllers according to USITT
standard
The controller can be operated with a maximum loading power of 12A/288W
Easy address setting via DIP switches
Controls all LED fixtures with common anode (+)
PWM refresh rate of 1000Hz, suitable for TV studio standard
12 BIT DMX resolution with gamma correction for smooth dimming and color mixing
Overload temperature protection
256 Static colors selectable
8 Color change and 8 color fade sequences are pre-programmed inside
Strong ABS-PC housing with attachable DIN Rail adapter and screw driver included
6. Operation


DMX Control Modes (DMX Adressing )
In this mode, the DIP switch 10 is placed on the "ON" position.
DMX address can be entered using the dip switches 1-9.
DMX is shortcut for Digital Multiplex. This is a universal binary language.
Each dipswitch represents a binary value.


Manual Control M ode
In this mode, the DIP switch 10 is set to "OFF". Put the dip switches 1 through 8 for the
pre-programmed color sequences to activate. Each dipswitch represents a binary value.
