A3 - Fitting Your Swivel Mounting Ring

Tip: If connecting your
tablet for charging,
consider the distance to
the nearest power source
and if you will need to
purchase a longer power
cable.
Counter surface must
be between 20-75mm
depth for the standard
mount to fit.
Unpack the pillar and unscrew the
mounting fasteners.
[Note: Ensure the top washer (shown above)
remains in place at the base of the pillar.]
Cut a 32mm hole (using Vand R) through your counter
surface in your desired position.
Using the illustration above as a guide, choose your
Swivel Ring for your desired enclosure swivel.
Place it centrally over the hole in your surface and mark
the centre of the screw holes (highlighted green) with S.
Remove the ring and drill pilot holes (using V).

Screw in your chosen swivel
ring set up, using M.
[Note: Ensure to screw in flush with
the top of the ring]

Fit Lto pillar (A) and place Athrough the
swivel ring and hole in the counter surface.
Fit the fasteners in the order shown above. (M,N,O,P)
[Note: Qoptional fitting following cable routing]
Tighten the first nut (P) up to Ousing F.
[Note: Tighten to desired swivel resistance]
Note: It is vital that the first nut is held whilst fully
tightening the second, to ensure the unit does not
loosen.
Check swivel resistance and adjust as necessary.
If installing Q, first route your cable[s] (B3-B7) from the
enclosure through the pillar (see B8 for installation).
Trim pillar thread to length
if necessary

P Apply Thread-lock
(W) to pillar thread
below first nut (P)
but before fitting
second nut (P).
Having applied Threadlock, hold Pin place using Fand fully
tighten the second nut (P) against the first nut (P).

Push up Cand it will release from A.
Lift Cclear of A.
Unlock your Shell 10 Slim
using Don the lock located on
the back of A.
To lock Enclosure in Landscape,
ensure Eis screwed in (using G) with
the enclosure in the correct orientation.
To lock in Portrait orientation; Use
Gto unscrew E, Rotate Ato portrait
position and screw Eback in place.
3a - Feed your cable(s) down
the pillar from the Enclosure.
3b - If power cable is connected
to a transformer, feed up from
below.
To allow 180º rotation;
remove E.
Ensure you have enough
cable at each end to
connect to your tablet and
to your power source.
If you need a longer cable
contact;

Lift Bout of Cpulling up
the tab provided.
Turn your Tablet on and
place into B.
Slide Bback into C.
Note: Ensure your tablet is
turned on!
Push Cdown to locate
and press in the push
lock in on the rear of
the Enclosure.
Note: Take care to ensure all cables are contained within
the enclosure and not trapped in mounting mechanism.
Place Tablet Cassette
(C) back into Rear
Enclosure (A) just
above centre.
If you have an open front
counter we suggest fitting
our cable cover (Q), using
remaining (Kx 3) screws
as shown.
Tip: install conduit under the counter to
keep cables tidy and secure.
Plug in your tablet’s power.
Your Shell 10 Slim is ready for
use.
(If you have an open front counter
surface go to step B8).

Switch on your power supply.
Your Counter Mounted
Shell+ 12 is ready for use.
Plug your tablet’s power cable into your
tablet as applicable.
Install Ras
required to
secure cable
in place.
