NSTALLATION
2. INSTALLATION:
2.1. BUILT-IN:
The oven has a high-performance air flow system which gives remarkable results as long as the following
points are applied:
- The oven may be fitted either underneath a work top or in a suitable sized column unit.
- Cut a hole measuring 50 mm x 50 mm in the back wall for the electric cable to cross through (see
diagram below).
- Centre the oven in the unit and make that it is at least 2 mm from any other unit beside it.
- The cabinet must be made of heat-resistance material
- The oven must be disconnected from the power supply while it is being installed in the unit
- For greater stability, fix the oven in the unit with 2 screws in the holes on the side uprights.

NSTALLATION
2.2. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
The electrical connection must be accomplished by an electrician-installer. He must make sure
that the oven has been joined up according to assembly instructions and local regulations. Being
the oven live, the electronics activates interrupting the lighting for any seconds. In case of connection
to a power socket, it must be accessible after the installation of the oven. The manufacturer does
not incur any responsibility in case of a wrong or non-existent earth. The oven is delivered with its
own 3-ways supply cable (cable: H05V2V2F-T90). It must be joined upon the network 220-240 V~
/ 50 Hz / single-phase with an earth plate (rule CEI60083). This earth plate must be easily acces-
sible after the installation of the appliance. Pay attention to the colour of the wires: wall-sockets are
usually joined up according to the scheme below. The section of the conductors must be at least
1,5 mmand the installation must be shielded by a 16A-fuse.

3. UTILIZATION:
3.1. TIME ADJUSTMENT:
THE FIRST TIME THE OVEN IS TURNED ON
· The display flashes
· Use the + and - buttons to adjust the time.
· Press Set button to confirm.
TIME ADJUSTMENT
· Press on the + and - buttons simultaneously for some seconds until the display starts flashing.
· Adjust the time using the + and - button.
· Press Set button to confirm.
3.2. FUNCTIONS:
· Standard steam cooking: Temperature 100°C
· Defrosting : Temperature 60°C
· Self-contained signal clock: accessible by the ‘SET’ button.
3.3. CHILD SAFETY LOCK
To block the controls
• Press Start/Stop button up to hear a brief sound-»beep», then a long-lasting «beep»
• Press and hold the button up to the end of the sound-»beep» stops and the symbol of a key appears on the display.
To unlock the controls
• Press Start/Stop button up to hear a long-lasting sound-»beep»
• Press and hold the button up to the end of the sound-»beep» stops and the symbol of a key appears on the display.
The control panel can be locked. This can only be activated when you are not using timed or delayed cooking
features.
3.4. DEMOUNTABLE PIPE UNION:
The pipe union is placed above the opening and it
is demountable.
It allows an easy maintenance. Dismantle this union
pipe by pulling it upwards.
Wipe and replace it using the three notches provided
for this purpose.

4. FUNCTIONING:
The water contained in a removable tank is brought by a solenoid valve on a heat generator where it is
transformed into steam.
The steam obtained is maintained in the oven cavity by closing a valve at the beginning of a cooking
program.
This valve is bored in order to avoid the pressurization of the cavity.
This cooking principle is different to a pressure-cooker where the obtained pressure is higher than the
atmospheric one.
Initially the oven will be saturated with steam and the temperature will be close to 100°C.
In order to avoid condensation, an heating cover which covers the top will be supplied during all cooking
time.
A tangential fan allows the constant cooling of the oven and the extraction of the steam when the flap opens
three minutes before the end of the cycle.
A safety thermostat (210°C) protects the oven against overheating.
Two sensors placed in the cavity and in the generator allow the temperature control.

5. ANALISYS OF THE COOKING PROGRAMMES:
Cooking is divided into 5 steps.
Rise in the temperature and steam generation (Step 1)
Immediately after starting, the valve, the tangential fan, the heater, the heating cover and the thermal
activator are supplied.
The steam generation is important in order to quickly obtain saturation in the cavity.The valve is supplied by
step of 15 to 30 sec as soon as the generator temperature exceeds 130°C. The heating cover is supplied to
avoid condensation and the tangential fan runs in order to prevent an abnormal overheating of the oven and
the electronics. When the cavity reaches the temperature selected the generator stops heating.
Upholding of the steam level (Step 2)
The heat generator is regulated by the sensor. The thermal activator, the heating cover and the tangential
fan are still supplied.
Steam emptying and temperature decreasing (Step 3)
Three minutes before the end, the thermal activator and the solenoid valve are not supplied any more.
The valve opens, the tangential air flow involves the steam out of the cavity.
The heating cover is always supplied.
Keeping warm (Step 4)
This step takes place only if the door remains closed after the end of cooking. This phase permits to keep
food warm.
The tangential and the heating cover are always supplied.The maximum duration is 1 hour and it is interrupted
as soon as the door is open.
Cavity drying (Step 5)
This step starts as soon as the door is open or after 1 hour or during the phase 3 or the phase 4 and
continues during 3 minutes.
The tangential and the heating cover are supplied.The air flow goes on involving the steam out of the cavity.
The duration is 3 min.

6. AIR FLOW:
During the cooking:
- The tangential fan cools the electronics of the oven
- The tangential fan conveys air to the back of the oven (1)
- Then the air is conveyed to the electronic board in order to cool it (2).
At the end of the cooking:
- The presence of steam in the cavity is important
- Three minutes before the end of the cooking the valve opens
- The air flow produced by the tangential fan is sent toward the wall (3) above the valve.
- The steam is driven out of the cavity through the louver placed in the front part of the oven between the
control panel and the knob (4)

9.1. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Connect (if possible) an ammeter to oven power supply.
- Entirely execute the test program.
- Record discrepancies noticed as the test program is running
- Next, check and replace if necessary the incriminated component(s).
- Perform right-operation check by executing the test program again.
9.2 PRELIMINARY STEPS
- Fill in the tank and put it in the right position
- Disconnect for 10 seconds minimum and connect again
- The time before entering the test must not exceed 1 minute
- Press successively each key from left to right and maintain the right key during 3 seconds.
9.3 RUN OF THE TEST PROGRAM
An action on the keys other than + and - or 3 min without action allows to quit the test program.
