 Ñîõðàíèòå äàííîå ðóêîâîäñòâî. Îíî äîëæíî áûòü
â êîìïëåêòå ñî ñòèðàëüíîé ìàøèíîé â ñëó÷àå ïðî-
äàæè, ïåðåäà÷è îáîðóäîâàíè èëè ïðè ïåðååçäå
íà íîâóþ êâàðòèðó, ÷òîáû íîâûé âëàäåëåö îáîðó-
äîâàíè ìîã îçíàêîìèòüñ ñ ïðàâèëàìè åãî ôóíê-
öèîíèðîâàíè è îáñëóæèâàíè .
 Âíèìàòåëüíî ïðî÷èòàéòå ðóêîâîäñòâî: â íåì ñî-
äåðæàòñ âàæíûå ñâåäåíè ïî óñòàíîâêå è áåçî-
ïàñíîé ýêñïëóàòàöèè ñòèðàëüíîé ìàøèíû.
Ðàñïàêîâêà è âûðàâíèâàíèå
Ðàñïàêîâêà
1. Ðàñïàêóéòå ñòèðàëüíóþ ìàøèíó.
2. Óáåäèòåñü, ÷òî îáîðóäîâàíèå íå áûëî ïîâðåæäåíî
âî âðåì òðàíñïîðòèðîâêè. Ïðè îáíàðóæåíèè ïî-
âðåæäåíèé  íå ïîäêëþ÷àéòå ìàøèíó  ñâ æè-
òåñü ñ ïîñòàâùèêîì íåìåäëåííî.
3. Ñíèìèòå 3 âèíòà,
ïðåäîõðàí þùèå ìàøèíó
â ïðîöåññå ïåðåâîçêè, è
ðåçèíîâûå ïðîáêè ñ
ñîîòâåòñòâóþùèì
ðàñïîðíûìè øàéáàìè,
ðàñïîëîæåííûå â çàäíåé
÷àñòè ñòèðàëüíîé ìàøèíû
(ñì. ðèñ.).
4. Çàêðîéòå îòâåðñòè
ïðèëàãàþùèìèñ ïëàñ-
òèêîâûìè çàãëóøêàìè.
5. Çàêðîéòå ïðèëàãàþùåéñ çàãëóøêîé òðè îòâåðñòè
äë âèëêè îáîðóäîâàíè (âî âðåì åãî òðàíñ-
ïîðòèðîâêè), ðàñïîëîæåííûå â çàäíåé íèæíåé ïðà-
âîé ÷àñòè îáîðóäîâàíè
6. Ñîõðàí éòå âñå äåòàëè: îíè Âàì ïîíàäîá òñ ïðè
ïîñëåäóþùåé òðàíñïîðòèðîâêå ñòèðàëüíîé ìàøèíû.
 Íå ðàçðåøàéòå äåò ì èãðàòü ñ óïàêîâî÷íûìè
ìàòåðèàëàìè.
Âûðàâíèâàíèå
1. Óñòàíîâèòå ñòèðàëüíóþ ìàøèíó íà ðîâíîì è ïðî÷íîì
ïîëó, òàê ÷òîáû îíà íå êàñàëàñü ñòåí, ìåáåëè è ïðî-
÷èõ ïðåäìåòîâ.
2. Ïîñëå óñòàíîâêè ìàøèíû íà ìåñòî îòðåãóëèðóé-
òå åå óñòîé÷èâîå ïîëîæåíèå ïóòåì âðàùåíè ïå-
ðåäíèõ íîæåê (ñì.
ðèñ.). Äë ýòîãî ñíà÷à-
ëà îñëàáüòå êîíòðãàéêó,
ïîñëå çàâåðøåíè ðå-
ãóëèðîâêè êîíòðãàéêó
çàò íèòå.
Ïîñëå óñòàíîâêè ìàøèíû
íà ìåñòî ïðîâåðüòå ïî
óðîâíþ ãîðèçîíòàëüíîñòü
âåðõíåé êðûøêè êîðïóñà,
îòêëîíåíèå ãîðèçîíòàëè
äîëæíî áûòü íå áîëåå 2°.
Ïðàâèëüíîå âûðàâíèâàíèå îáîðóäîâàíè ïîìîæåò
èçáåæàòü øóìà, âèáðàöèé è ñìåùåíèé âî âðåì ðà-
áîòû ìàøèíû.
Åñëè ñòèðàëüíà ìàøèíà ñòîèò íà ïîëó, ïîêðûòîì
êîâðîì, óáåäèòåñü, ÷òî åå îñíîâàíèå âîçâûøàåò-
ñ íàä êîâðîì.  ïðîòèâíîì ñëó÷àå âåíòèë öè
áóäåò çàòðóäíåíà èëè âîâñå íåâîçìîæíà.
Ïîäêëþ÷åíèå ê âîäîïðîâîäíî è
ýëåêòðè÷åñêî ñåòè
Ïîäñîåäèíåíèå çàëèâíîãî øëàíãà
1. Âñòàâüòå ïðîêëàäêó À â
êîíåö çàëèâíîãî øëàíãà
è íàâåðíèòå åãî íà âû-
âîä âîäîïðîâîäà õîëîä-
íîé âîäû ñ ðåçüáîâûì îò-
âåðñòèåì 3/4 äþéìà (ñì.
ðèñ.).
Ïåðåä ïîäñîåäèíåíèåì
îòêðîéòå âîäîïðîâîäíûé
êðàí è äàéòå ñòå÷ü ãð ç-
íîé âîäå.
2. Ïîäñîåäèíèòå çàëèâ-
íîé øëàíã ê ñòèðàëüíîé
ìàøèíå, íàâèíòèâ åãî
íà âîäîïðèåìíèê, ðàñ-
ïîëîæåííûé â çàäíåé
âåðõíåé ÷àñòè ñïðàâà
(ñì. ðèñ.).
3. Óáåäèòåñü, ÷òî øëàíã íå ïåðåêðó÷åí è íå ïåðå-
æàò.
Äàâëåíèå âîäû äîëæíî áûòü â ïðåäåëàõ çíà÷å-
íèé, óêàçàííûõ â òàáëèöå Òåõíè÷åñêèõ õàðàêòå-
ðèñòèê (ñì. ñ. 3).
Åñëè äëèíà âîäîïðîâîäíîãî øëàíãà îêàæåòñ
íåäîñòàòî÷íîé, îáðàòèòåñü â Àâòîðèçîâàííûé
Ñåðâèñíûé öåíòð.

Ïîäñîåäèíåíèå ñëèâíîãî øëàíãà
Ïîâåñüòå çàãíóòûé êî-
íåö ñëèâíîãî øëàíãà íà
êðàé ðàêîâèíû, âàííû,
èëè ïîìåñòèòå â
ñïåöèàëüíûé âûâîä
êàíàëèçàöèè. Øëàíã íå
äîëæåí ïåðåãèáàòüñ .
Âåðõí òî÷êà ñëèâíî-
ãî øëàíãà äîëæíà íà-
õîäèòüñ íà âûñîòå 65-
100 ñì îò ïîëà. Ðàñïî-
ëîæåíèå ñëèâíîãî
øëàíãà äîëæíî îáåñ-
ïå÷èâàòü ðàçðûâ ñòðóè
ïðè ñëèâå (êîíåö øëàí-
ãà íå äîëæåí áûòü
îïóùåí â âîäó).
 ñëó÷àå êðåïëåíè íà
êðàé âàííîé èëè ðàêî-
âèíû, øëàíã âåøàåòñ
ñ ïîìîùüþ íàïðàâë -
þùåé (âõîäèò â êîìï-
ëåêò ïîñòàâêè), êîòîðà
êðåïèòñ ê êðàíó (ðèñ.).
 Íå ðåêîìåíäóåòñ ïðèìåíåíèå óäëèíèòåëåé äë
ñëèâíîãî øëàíãà, ïðè íåîáõîäèìîñòè äîïóñêàåò-
ñ åãî íàðàùèâàíèå øëàíãîì òàêîãî æå äèàìåòðà
è äëèíîé íå áîëåå 150 ñì.
Ïîäñîåäèíåíèå ê ýëåêòðîñåòè
Âíèìàíèå! Îáîðóäîâàíèå îá çàòåëüíî äîëæíî
áûòü çàçåìëåíî!
1. Ìàøèíà ïîäêëþ÷àåòñ ê ýëåêòðè÷åñêîé ñåòè ïðè ïî-
ìîùè äâóõïîëþñíîé ðîçåòêè ñ çàçåìë þùèì êîíòàê-
òîì (ðîçåòêà íå ïîñòàâë åòñ ñ ìàøèíîé). Ôàçíûé
ïðîâîä äîëæåí áûòü ïîäêëþ÷åí ÷åðåç àâòîìàò çàùè-
òû ñåòè, ðàññ÷èòàííûé íà ìàêñèìàëüíûé òîê (òîê ñðà-
áàòûâàíè ) 16 À, è èìåþùèé âðåì ñðàáàòûâàíè íå
áîëåå 0,1 ñ.
2. Ïðè íàëè÷èè âáëèçè îò ïðåäïîëàãàåìîãî ìåñòà óñòà-
íîâêè ìàøèíû ðîçåòêè ñ çàçåìë þùèì êîíòàêòîì,
èìåþùåé òðåõïðîâîäíóþ ïîäâîäêó êàáåë ñ ìåäíûìè
æèëàìè ñå÷åíèåì íå ìåíåå 1,5 êâ. ìì (èëè àëþìèíè-
åâûìè æèëàìè ñå÷åíèåì íå ìåíåå 2,5 êâ. ìì), äîðà-
áîòêà ýëåêòðîñåòè íå ïðîèçâîäèòñ . Ïðè îòñóòñòâèè
óêàçàííîé ðîçåòêè è ïðîâîäêè ñëåäóåò ïðîâåñòè èõ ìîí-
òàæ.
3. Ïðîêëàäêà çàçåìëåíè îòäåëüíûì ïðîâîäîì íå
äîïóñêàåòñ .
4. Äë äîðàáîòêè ýëåêòðè÷åñêîé ñåòè ðåêîìåíäóåòñ
ïðèìåí òü ïðîâîä òèïà ÏÏÂ 3õ1,5 380 ÃÎÑÒ 6223-79.
Äîïóñêàåòñ ïðèìåíåíèå äðóãèõ ìàðîê êàáåë , îáåñ-
ïå÷èâàþùèõ ïîæàðî- è ýëåêòðîáåçîïàñíîñòü ïðè ýêñ-
ïëóàòàöèè ìàøèíû.
Ïåðåä âêëþ÷åíèåì ìàøèíû â ñåòü óáåäèòåñü, ÷òî:
lðîçåòêà è ïðîâîäêà ñîîòâåòñòâóþò òðåáîâàíè ì, èç-
ëîæåííûì â äàííîì ðàçäåëå èíñòðóêöèè;
líàïð æåíèå è ÷àñòîòà òîêà ñåòè ñîîòâåòñòâóþò äàí-
íûì ìàøèíû;
lðîçåòêà è âèëêà îäíîãî òèïà;
lðîçåòêà çàçåìëåíà â ñîîòâåòñòâèè ñ íîðìàìè áåçî-
ïàñíîñòè, îïèñàííûìè â äàííîì ðàçäåëå èíñòðóêöèè
äîïóñêàåòñ îðãàíèçàöè çàçåìëåíè ðàáî÷èì íó-
ëåì, ïðè óñëîâèè, ÷òî çàùèòíà ëèíè íå èìååò ðàç-
ðûâà è ïîäêëþ÷åíà íàïð ìóþ â îáâîä êàêèõ-ëèáî
ïðèáîðîâ (íàïðèìåð, ýëåêòðè÷åñêîãî ñ÷åò÷èêà).
Åñëè âèëêà íå ïîäõîäèò ê ðîçåòêå, åå ñëåäóåò çàìå-
íèòü íà íîâóþ, ñîîòâåòñòâóþùóþ ðîçåòêå, èëè çàìåíèòü
ïèòàþùèé êàáåëü. Çàìåíà êàáåë äîëæíà ïðîèçâî-
äèòüñ òîëüêî êâàëèôèöèðîâàííûì ïåðñîíàëîì.
Çàïðåùàåòñ èñïîëüçîâàíèå ïåðåõîäíèêîâ, äâîéíûõ
è áîëåå ðîçåòîê è óäëèíèòåëåé (îíè ñîçäàþò îïàñíîñòü
âîçãîðàíè ). Åñëè Âû ñ÷èòàåòå èõ èñïîëüçîâàíèå íå-
îáõîäèìûì, ïðèìåí éòå îäèí åäèíñòâåííûé óäëèíè-
òåëü, óäîâëåòâîð þùèé òðåáîâàíè ì áåçîïàñíîñòè.
Îáîðóäîâàíèå, ïîäêëþ÷åííîå ñ íàðóøåíèåì òðåáî-
âàíè áåçîïàñíîñòè áûòîâûõ ïðèáîðîâ áîëüøî
ìîùíîñòè, èçëîæåííûõ â äàííî èíñòðóêöèè, ÿâëÿ-
åòñÿ ïîòåíöèàëüíî îïàñíûì.
Ïðîèçâîäèòåëü íå íåñåò îòâåòñòâåííîñòè çà
óùåðá çäîðîâüþ è ñîáñòâåííîñòè, åñëè îí âûçâàí
íåñîáëþäåíèåì óêàçàííûõ íîðì óñòàíîâêè.
Ïåðâû öèêë ñòèðêè
Ïî çàâåðøåíèè óñòàíîâêè, ïåðåä íà÷àëîì ýêñï-
ëóàòàöèè íåîáõîäèìî ïðîèçâåñòè îäèí öèêë ñòèð-
êè ñî ñòèðàëüíûì ïîðîøêîì, íî áåç áåëü , ïî ïðî-
ãðàììå 90°C áåç ïðåäâàðèòåëüíîé ñòèðêè.

ïðèîòêðûòîé, ÷òîáû äàòü èñïàðèòüñ îñòàâøåéñ
âëàãå.

Çàíàâåñêè: ñâåðíèòå è ïîëîæèòå â íàâîëî÷êó èëè â
ñåò÷àòûé ìåøî÷åê. Ñòèðàéòå îòäåëüíî, íå ïðåâû-
øà ïîëîâèíû çàãðóçêè áàðàáàíà.
Ñòåãàííûå êóðòêè è ïóõîâèêè: åñëè ïóõîâèê íà
óòèíîì èëè ãóñèíîì ïóõó, åãî ìîæíî ñòèðàòü â ñòè-
ðàëüíîé ìàøèíå. Âûâåðíèòå êóðòêó íàèçíàíêó, çàãðó-
çèòå â áàðàáàí íå áîëåå 2-3 êã èçäåëèé. Ïîâòîðèòå
ïîëîñêàíèå 1-2 ðàçà, èñïîëüçóéòå äåëèêàòíûé îò-
æèì.
Ïàðóñèíîâûå òóôëè: Ïàðóñèíîâûå òóôëè
ïðåäâàðèòåëüíî î÷èñòèòå îò ãð çè è ñòèðàéòå ñ
ïðî÷íûìè òêàí ìè èëè äæèíñàìè, åñëè ïîçâîë åò
öâåò. Íå ñòèðàéòå ñ áåëûìè âåùàìè.
Øåðñòü: Äë äîñòèæåíè íàèëó÷øèõ ðåçóëüòàòîâ

îáîðóäîâàíèåì áîñèêîì.
 Íå ò íèòå çà ïèòàþùèé êàáåëü, ÷òîáû âûíóòü âèëêó
èç ðîçåòêè: áåðèòåñü çà âèëêó.
 Íå îòêðûâàéòå ðàñïðåäåëèòåëü ìîþùèõ ñðåäñòâ
âî âðåì ðàáîòû ìàøèíû.
 Íå êàñàéòåñü ñëèâàåìîé âîäû, åå òåìïåðàòóðà
ìîæåò áûòü î÷åíü âûñîêîé.
 Ïðè îñòàíîâêå ìàøèíû ðàçáëîêèðîâêà çàìêà
äâåðöû ñðàáàòûâàåò ñ òðåõìèíóòíîé çàäåðæêîé.
Íå ïûòàéòåñü îòêðûòü äâåðöó â ýòîì ïðîìåæóò-
êå âðåìåíè (à òåì áîëåå âî âðåì ðàáîòû îáî-
ðóäîâàíè !): ýòî ìîæåò ïîâðåäèòü ìåõàíèçì
áëîêèðîâêè.

íó, âûïîëí éòå ýòó îïåðàöèþ âäâîåì èëè âòðîåì
ñ ïðåäåëüíîé îñòîðîæíîñòüþ. Íèêîãäà íå
ïûòàéòåñü ïîäí òü ìàøèíó â îäèíî÷êó 
îáîðóäîâàíèå ÷ðåçâû÷àéíî ò æåëîå.
 Ïåðåä ïîìåùåíèåì â ñòèðàëüíóþ ìàøèíó áåëü

ñäà÷åé ìàøèíû â óòèëü îáðåæüòå ïèòàþùèé êà-
áåëü è ñíèìèòå äâåðöó.
Ýêîíîìèÿ ýíåðãèè è îõðàíà

Ýêîëîãè÷íàÿ òåõíîëîãèÿ
Ñ íîâîé òåõíîëîãèåé Indesit âû çàòðàòèòå âîäû â
äâà ðàçà ìåíüøå, à ýôôåêò îò ñòèðêè áóäåò â äâà
ðàçà âûøå! Âîò ïî÷åìó âû íå ìîæåòå âèäåòü âîäó

çàãðóæåííûì áàðàáàíîì ïîçâîë åò ñýêîíîìèòü äî
50% ýëåêòðîýíåðãèè.
 Öèêë ïðåäâàðèòåëüíîé ñòèðêè íåîáõîäèì òîëüêî
äë î÷åíü ãð çíîãî áåëü . Ïðè öèêëå
ïðåäâàðèòåëüíîé ñòèðêè ðàñõîäóåòñ áîëüøå
ñòèðàëüíîãî ïîðîøêà, âðåìåíè, âîäû è íà 5  15%
áîëüøå ýëåêòðîýíåðãèè.
 Åñëè âû îáðàáîòàåòå ï òíà ï òíîâûâîäèòåëåì èëè
çàìî÷èòå áåëüå ïåðåä ñòèðêîé, ýòî ïîìîæåò èç-
áåæàòü ñòèðêè ïðè âûñîêèõ òåìïåðàòóðàõ. Èñïîëü-
çîâàíèå ïðîãðàììû ñòèðêè ïðè 60°C âìåñòî 90°C,
èëè 40°C âìåñòî 60°C ïîçâîë åò ñýêîíîìèòü äî
50% ýëåêòðîýíåðãèè.
 Ïðàâèëüíà äîçèðîâêà ñòèðàëüíîãî ïîðîøêà â çà-
âèñèìîñòè îò æåñòêîñòè âîäû, ñòåïåíè
çàãð çíåíè è îáúåìà çàãðóæàåìîãî áåëü
ïîìîãàåò èçáåæàòü íåðàöèîíàëüíîãî ðàñõîäà
ìîþùåãî ñðåäñòâà è çàãð çíåíè îêðóæàþùåé
ñðåäû: õîò ñòèðàëüíûå ïîðîøêè è âë þòñ áèî-
ðàçëàãàåìûìè, îíè ñîäåðæàò âåùåñòâà, îòðèöà-
òåëüíî âëè þùèå íà ýêîëîãèþ. Êðîìå òîãî, ïî âîç-
ìîæíîñòè èçáåãàéòå èñïîëüçîâàòü îïîëàñêèâàòåëè.
Èñïîëüçîâàíèå ñòèðàëüíîé ìàøèíû óòðîì èëè
âå÷åðîì óìåíüøèò ïèêîâóþ íàãðóçêó íà
ýëåêòðîñåòü.
 Åñëè áåëüå äîëæíî ñóøèòüñ â àâòîìàòè÷åñêîé
ñóøêå, íåîáõîäèìî âûáðàòü áîëüøóþ ñêîðîñòü
îòæèìà. Èíòåíñèâíûé îòæèì ñýêîíîìèò âðåì è
ýëåêòðîýíåðãèþ ïðè àâòîìàòè÷åñêîé ñóøêå.

ìåòû (ìîíåòû, ïóãîâèöû è äð.) ìîãóò ñëó÷àéíî
ïîïàñòü â íàñîñ. Äë èõ èçâëå÷åíè íàñîñ îáîðó-
äîâàí «óëîâèòåëåì»  ôèëüòðîì, äîñòóï ê êîòî-
ðîìó çàêðûò íèæíåé ïåðåäíåé ïàíåëüþ.

Ïðîâåðêà çàëèâíîãî øëàíãà
Ïðîâåð éòå øëàíã íå ðåæå îäíîãî ðàçà â ãîä. Ïðè
ëþáûõ ïðèçíàêàõ òå÷è èëè ïîâðåæäåíè íåìåä-
ëåííî çàìåíèòå øëàíã. Âî âðåì ðàáîòû ìàøèíû
íåèñïðàâíûé øëàíã, íàõîä ùèéñ ïîä äàâëåíè-
åì âîäû, ìîæåò âíåçàïíî ëîïíóòü.
 Íèêîãäà íå èñïîëüçóéòå øëàíãè, áûâøèå â óïîò-
ðåáëåíèè.
Îòêëþ÷åíèå âîäû è ýëåêòðè÷åñòâà
 Ïåðåêðûâàéòå âîäîïðîâîäíûé êðàí ïîñëå êàæ-
äîé ñòèðêè. Òàêèì îáðàçîì ñîêðàùàåòñ èçíîñ
âîäîïðîâîäíîé ñèñòåìû ñòèðàëüíîé ìàøèíû è
óñòðàí åòñ âåðî òíîñòü ïðîòå÷åê.
 Âñåãäà âûíèìàéòå âèëêó èç ðîçåòêè ïåðåä ìîé-
êîé è îáñëóæèâàíèåì ìàøèíû.

Keep this instruction manual in a safe place for
future reference. Should the appliance be sold,
transferred or moved, make sure the instruction
manual accompanies the washing machine to inform
the new owner as to its operation and features.
Read these instructions carefully they contain vital
information on installation, use and safety.
Unpacking and levelling
Unpacking
1. Unpack the washing machine.
2. Check whether the washing machine has been
damaged during transport. If this is the case, do not
install it and contact your retailer.
3. Remove the 3
protective screws and
the rubber washer with
the respective spacer,
situated on the rear of
the appliance (see
figure).
4. Seal the gaps using the plastic plugs provided.
5. Use the plug provided to seal the three holes
where the plug was housed, situated on the lower
right-hand side on the rear of your appliance.
6. Keep all the parts you will need them again if the
washing machine needs to be moved to another
location.
Packaging materials are not children's toys.
Levelling
1. Install the washing machine on a flat sturdy floor,
without resting it up against walls, furniture cabinets
or other.
2. If the floor is not
perfectly level, compen-
sate for any unevenness
by tightening or
loosening the adjustable
front feet (see figure);
the angle of inclination,
measured according to
the worktop, must not
exceed 2°.
Levelling your appliance correctly will provide it with
stability and avoid any vibrations, noise and shifting
during operation. If it is placed on a fitted or loose
carpet, adjust the feet in such a way as to allow
enough room for ventilation beneath the washing
machine.
Electric and water connections
Connecting the water inlet hose
1. Insert seal A into the
end of the inlet hose
and screw the latter
onto a cold water tap
with a 3/4 gas threaded
mouth (see figure).
Before making the
connection, allow the
water to run freely until
it is perfectly clear.
2. Connect the other end
of the water inlet hose to
the washing machine,
screwing it onto the
appliance's cold water
inlet, situated on the top
right-hand side on the
rear of the appliance
(see figure).
3. Make sure there are no kinks or bends in the
hose.
The water pressure at the tap must be within the
values indicated in the Technical details table
(on the next page).
If the water inlet hose is not long enough, contact
a specialist store or an authorised serviceman.

Connecting the drain hose
Connect the drain hose,
without bending it, to a
draining duct or a wall
drain situated between
65 and 100 cm from
the floor;
alternatively, place it
over the edge of a
basin, sink or tub,
fastening the duct
supplied to the tap (see
figure). The free end of
the hose should not be
underwater.
 We advise against the use of hose extensions; in
case of absolute need, the extension must have the
same diameter as the original hose and must not
exceed 150 cm in length.
Electric connection
Before plugging the appliance into the mains
socket, make sure that
 the socket is earthed and in compliance with the
applicable law;
 the socket is able to sustain the appliance's
maximum power load indicated in the Technical
details table (on the right);
 the supply voltage is included within the values i
ndicated on the Technical details table
(on the right);
 the socket is compatible with the washing
machine's plug. If this is not the case, replace
the socket or the plug.
 The washing machine should not be installed in an
outdoor environment, not even when the area is
sheltered, because it may be very dangerous to
leave it exposed to rain and thunderstorms.
 When the washing machine is installed, the mains
socket must be within easy reach.
 Do not use extensions or multiple sockets.
 The power supply cable must never be bent or
dangerously compressed.
 The power supply cable must only be replaced by
an authorised serviceman.
Warning! The company denies all liability if and when
these norms are not respected.
The first wash cycle
Once the appliance has been installed, and before
you use it for the first time, run a wash cycle with
detergent and no laundry, setting the 90°C
programme without a pre-wash cycle.

Starting and Programmes
Briefly: starting a programme
1. Set the desired programme.
2. Load your laundry into the appliance and shut the
door.
3. Add the detergent and any fabric softener
(see page 19).
4. Turn the appliance on by pressing button .
5. At the end of the wash cycle wait approximately
3 minutes.
Then turn the washing machine off by pressing
button. You can now open the washing
machine door safely. After having removed the
freshly cleaned washing, leave the door open to
allow air circulation inside the drum.
Always disconnect electricity at the socket and
turn off the water supply.

To enable the functions, press the button corresponding to the desired function, according to the table below.

No Spin
Use this button to exclude the
spin cycle. We recommend that you use it when washing garments which
are difficult to iron.
Anti-crease
This button allows you to
interrupt the programme (on
symbol ), keeping the washing
soaking in water before the spin
cycle. It is a very useful button,
because it prevents delicate and
synthetic fabrics from creasing
(for example, when you cannot
take the washing out at the end
of the wash cycle but only after
a few hours). It can only be
used in programmes for
synthetic fabrics and for wool.
ATTENTION! Before opening the door, you must drain the
water by setting knob PROGRAMME to symbol . If, on the
other hand, you prefer to carry on with the spin cycle, just
press button Anti-crease again.

Detergents and laundry
Detergent dispenser
Good washing results also depend on the correct
dose of detergent adding too much detergent won't
necessarily make for a more efficient wash, and may
in fact cause build up on the interior of your
appliance and even pollute the environment.
Open up the detergent
dispenser and pour in
the detergent and fabric
softener, as follows.
compartment 1: Detergent for pre-wash
(powder)
compartment 2: Detergent for the wash cycle
(powder or liquid)
Liquid detergent should only be poured in
immediately prior to the wash cycle start.
compartment 3: Additives (fabric softeners, etc.)
The fabric softener should not overflow from the grid.
 Do not use hand wash detergent because it may
form too much foam.
Preparing your laundry
 Divide your laundry according to
- the type of fabric/the symbol on the label.
- the colours separate coloured garments from
whites.
 Empty all pockets and check for loose buttons.
 Do not exceed the weight limits stated below,
which refer to the weight when dry

Special items
Curtains: fold curtains and place them in a pillow
case or mesh bag. Wash them separately without
exceeding half the appliance load.
Quilted coats and windbreakers: if they are
padded with goose or duck down, they can be
machine-washed. Turn the garments inside out and
load a maximum of 2-3 kg, repeating the rinse cycle
once or twice and using the delicate spin cycle.
Trainers: remove any mud. They can be washed
together with jeans and other tough garments, but
not with whites.
Wool: for best results, use a specific detergent,
taking care not to exceed a load of 1 kg.

 The washing machine was designed and built in
compliance with the applicable international safety
regulations. The following information is provided for
your safety and should consequently be read
carefully.
General safety
 This appliance has been designed for non-
professional, household use and its functions must
not be changed.
 This washing machine should only be used by
adults and in accordance with the instructions
provided in this manual.
 Never touch the washing machine when barefoot
or with wet or damp hands or feet.
 Do not pull on the power supply cable to unplug
the appliance from the electricity socket. Pull the
plug out yourself.
 Do not open the detergent dispenser while the
appliance is in operation.
 Do not touch the drain water as it could reach
very high temperatures.
 Never force the washing machine door this could
damage the safety lock mechanism designed to
prevent any accidental openings.
 In the event of a malfunction, do not under any
circumstances touch internal parts in order to
attempt repairs.
 Always keep children well away from the
appliance while in operation.
 The appliance door tends to get quite hot during
the wash cycle.
 Should it have to be moved, proceed with the
help of two or three people and handle it with the
utmost care. Never try to do this alone, because
the appliance is very heavy.
 Before loading your laundry into the washing
machine, make sure the drum is empty.
Disposal
 Disposing of the packaging material
observe local regulations, so the packaging can
be re-used.
 Disposing of an old washing machine
before scrapping your appliance, cut the power
supply cable and remove the appliance door.
Saving energy and respecting the
environment
Environmentally-friendly technology
If you only see a little water through your appliance
door, this is because thanks to the latest Indesit
technology, your washing machine only needs less
than half the amount of water to get the best
results an objective reached to respect the
environment.
Saving on detergent, water,
energy and time
 To avoid wasting resources, the washing machine
should be used with a full load. A full load instead
of two half loads allows you to save up to 50% on
energy.
 The pre-wash cycle is only necessary on
extremely soiled garments. Avoiding it will save on
detergent, time, water and between 5 and 15%
energy.
 Treating stains with a stain remover or leaving
them to soak before washing will cut down the
need to wash them at high temperatures. A
programme at 60°C instead of 90°C or one at
40°C instead of 60°C will save up to 50% on
energy.
 Use the correct quantity of detergent depending
on the water hardness, how soiled the garments
are and the amount of laundry you have, to avoid
wastage and to protect the environment despite
being biodegradable, detergents do contain
ingredients that alter the natural balance of the
environment. In addition, avoid using fabric
softener as much as possible.
 If you use your washing machine from late in the
afternoon until the early hours of the morning, you
will help reduce the electricity board's peak load.
 If your laundry has to be dried in a tumble dryer,
select a high spin speed. Having the least water
possible in your laundry will save you time and
energy in the drying process.
