IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

General
· Please read these instructions carefully and retain them for reference.
· Use this appliance solely in accordance with these instructions.
· This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications. It is not suitable
for any commercial applications.
· This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
· Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Electricity and heat
· Before use, please make sure that the mains voltage is the same as indicated on the rating
plate of the appliance.
· Make sure that you always use an earthed wall socket to connect the appliance.
· Always remove the plug from the mains socket before moving the appliance and when the
appliance is not in use.
· Remove the plug from the wall socket by pulling the plug, not the power cord.
· Check the appliance’s power cord regularly to make sure it is not damaged. Do not use the
appliance if the power cord is damaged. It must be replaced by the manufacturer, it’s service
agent or similarly qualified technician.
· Certain parts of the appliance may get hot. Do not touch these parts to prevent burning
yourself.
· The appliance needs space to allow heat to release, thereby preventing the risk of fire. Make
sure that the appliance has sufficient space around it and does not come in contact with
flammable material. The appliance must not be covered.
· Do not let the mains cable run across a cooker or other hot area like hot hob which might
damage the cable.
· Make sure that the appliance, the power cord and plug do not contact with water.
During use
· Do not use the appliance outdoors or near water.
· Ensure that the appliance is placed on a flat, firm surface.
· Always remove the plug from the wall socket after use and before cleaning the appliance.
· Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the draining board, worktop or table where
a child could reach it.
· Do not use the appliance in a humid room. Dry up your hand before touching the appliance
and power cord.
· Do not immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cord in water or other liquid for
cleaning.
· Use the base provided with the kettle only. Never use the base for other purposes.
· Remove the kettle from the base then fill with water from the tap. Do not fill above the MAX
mark, otherwise boiling water may spill out.
· Do not switch on the appliance before you have filled it with water. Fill only with cold water.

· The lid must remain securely closed whilst the appliance is in use.
· Never open the lid when the water is still boiling as you may
· Always pour hot water slowly and carefully without tipping the appliance too fast to prevent
splashing and spillage.
· Use the appliance only to boil or reheat water. Never use it for other liquids!
· Fill the kettle with at least 0,5 litre of water.
· Allow the appliance to cool to room temperature before storage
· This appliance may not be used through an external timer or by means of a remote control.

Using your kettle

1.Press the Lid Release Button, this will unlock the Lid
2.Fill the kettle with water, through either the Lid or alternatively fill through the Spout.
3.Pay attention to the Water Gauge and DO NOT fill past the MAX (1.7L) or below the MIN
(0.5L).
4.Caution: Make sure that you do not spill any water on the base.
5.Place the kettle on the Cordless Power Base and press On /Off Switch. This switch will be
illuminated. The water is now begun to boil.
6.When boiled, the kettle will automatically switch off. Remove the kettle from the Cordless
Power base, then pour the water from the kettle.
CAUTION: Both the kettle and water will be hot.
Please note: The lid will open halfway through only- this is to protect you from the
extreme vapour that exist the kettle upon opening the lid. You can push the lid back to
open fully.
7.Remove the plug from the wall socket after use.
Overheating safeguard
The appliance is built-in with an overheating safeguard. This will switch off the kettle if it is
operated without / insufficient water. Allow the kettle to cool down for at least 10 minutes
before using it again.
· Disconnect the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
· Wipe the kettle body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water for cleaning.
· Do not put the appliance in a dishwasher as it will damage the electrical connectors.
· Do not use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or abrasive cleaners on the kettle body
which may scratch its surface.
· Filter cleaning – There is a removable limescale filter inside the kettle spout. Remove
inside the kettle and clean. Make sure to refit it by sliding inside the kettle, fitting the
bottom tab into the base of the hole. Push the filter gently into place at the top until it
clicks.
· WARNING: Unless the Removable Limescale Filter is fitted properly, it may fall out when
pouring. Never boil the kettle without this filter, it must attach to the kettle at all times.
Descaling
If you need to descale the appliance:
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool.
2. Take out the Removable Limescale Filter for cleaning.
3. Fill the kettle with a vinegar solution to the MAX level and boil.
4. Leave vinegar solution in the kettle for a couple of hours.
5. Empty the kettle, then fill with clean water to the MAX level and boil. Empty the kettle and
repeat this process twice.
CAUTION: Do not use any ammonia or similar products to descale the appliance. These can
be injurious to your health. Use a vinegar solution or proprietary descaling product
available from retailers.

Most warranty repairs are handled routinely but sometimes requests for warranty service may not be
appropriate. For example, warranty service would Not apply if the product damage occurred because of
misuse, lack of routine, maintenance, shipping handling by third party, warehousing, or improper installa-
tion. Similarly, the warranty is void if the manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been
removed or the equipment has been altered or modified. During the warranty period the authorised service
dealer at its option will repair or replace any part that upon examination is found to be defective under
normal use and service.
The seller's standard 12-month warranty applies to all products unless stated. You are legally covered for
the first 12 months by the retailer. Within the first 12 months of ownership, you are entitled to a replace-
ment or refund the retailers discretion. Due to this being a legal requirement we cannot get involved during
this period.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of any parts or damage resulting from any of the following
negligent use or misuse of this product, improper voltage, or current use contrary to the operation
instructions: deviation from the instructions regarding storage and transportation; repair or alteration by
anyone other than Innoteck or an authorised service center. Further the warranty does not cover acts of
God such as fire, flood, hurricanes, or tornadoes. Innoteck shall not be liable for any incidental or
consequential damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except to the extent
prohibited by applicable law any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is
limited in duration to the above warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also
have other rights as stated in the UK Consumer rights laws that may vary slightly.
The only time we will replace spare parts under warranty is if they have become defective within the first 12
months warranty. If you require any spare parts after the 12-month warranty has ended, you may be
charged. Warranty does not apply to any accessories i.e. The guarantee is valid in the UK and Isle of Man
only.
If your item has developed a fault the item would need to be returned to us for inspection.
We would require the full item to be returned to us along with your proof of purchase (this can be emailed
to our customer service at service @innoteckcouk) and the completed returns form (you can obtain this
form from our customer service team) which must be included within the parcel. Once the item has been
returned to us our returns department will check the item to confirm the fault. They will then arrange for
your item to be repaired or replaced if required.
If the product you have returned to us is end of line/discontinued or is out of stock may send you a like for
replacement. We would ensure the specification of the item is like the product you have returned.
Within three months of purchase, if any manufacturing defects are discovered the seller will arrange to pick
up the item. After three months the purchaser or customer is required to send the item to us at their own
expense. There may be times when seller may request proof of purchase photo or video to assist us. A
customer who is unable to send a photo or video will need to send the product to us (subject to the 3-month
period).
Please retain your proof of purchase/sales receipt and the packaging box.
The product is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any
voltage and waveform other than as specified on the product rating label. (e.g..220V-50Hz).
