Section-A) General Information:
1) Product Validation: The portable hand-held jump starter pack device is designed to provide adequate starting
power for your vehicle in the event of an inadvertent discharged or dead battery start condition. This jump starter
device was extensively tested on a variety of import and domestic manufactured vehicles. Each vehicle used in the
testing were selected and grouped by the following criteria:
a) Vehicle classification, i.e.: (Sub-compact, Compact, Mid-sized & Large sized Passenger car, SUV and Light-duty
through Heavy-duty Truck),
b) Vehicle Engine Starter Amp Rating/Capacity,
c) Vehicle Engine Liter Size.
2) Jump Starter Pack Operation/Use Instructions
For the long-term life and durability of your jump starter pack device, it should be fully charged prior to use.
Supplemental maintenance charging should be provided to keep the jump starter pack device in full functioning
order when unexpected supplemental vehicle battery boosting is needed. Additionally, it is recommended that you
review, understand, maintain and use your jump starter pack device in accordance to the manufacturer’s operation
instructions and specifications.
3) Needed Equipment:

Precaution: USE OF THE APPROPRIATE SAFETY ITEMS WHEN JUMP STARTING
ANY DISCHARGED BATTERY, IS RECOMMENDED**

a) Eye Protection -(Required),
b) Rubber Gloves -(Recommended), Acid Protection.

5) Tools (Recommended):
a) Battery Terminal Cleaning Tool, Brush or Sand Paper,
b) Size Appropriate Wrench and/or Socket - (Corresponding Extension and Ratchet),
c) Baking Soda or Battery Acid Cleaner (Spray),
d) Hand Cleaner, Moist Towelettes, Shop Towels and/or Rags.
Section-B) Jump Starter Pack Device Use:
Precaution: To insure the proper jump-starting of the vehicle, make certain
that the jump-starter device is fully charged before using.
Step #1) Before using your the jump starter pack device, TO ACTIVATE; PRESS & RELEASE THE POWER BUTTON
THAT IS LOCATED ON THE SIDE OF THE JUMP STARTER PACK DEVICE. Once activated, Confirm the
indicator levels before using. Determine the power indicator level by either the (Number of Bars, or
Dots); indicating the remaining charge status of the jump starter pack device. If the power bar levels
are low, recharge the jump starter pack device to a full charge before use.

Step #2) Connect the jump starter devices Smart Clamps to the (EC5) port; located on the end of the unit.
Step #3) Typically, the vehicles battery is located in the engine compartment. For some vehicle manufacture’s
with jump starter battery post/port under-hood, have batteries that are located in the boot/trunk,
under the seat, or in the front fender wheel-well areas of the vehicle. Verify with the manufactures
specifications for the vehicles location for proper jump-starting.

Step #4) Connect the Red Battery Clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the Black Battery Clamp to the
negative (-) cable grounded to the vehicles chassis.

Section-B) Jump Starter Pack Device Use Continued:
Step #5) When correctly connected, the indicator light on the safety box of the Smart Clamps will
be Illuminated; and not flashing.
NOTE: If the indicator light is flashing, locate the Manual Activation Button that is located on the
side of the Smart Clamp Safety Box. (Then press and hold the Manual Activation Button for
1 to 3 seconds; and then release the Manual Activation Button. Additionally, the
Indicator light should be illuminated and not flashing).
If all previous steps are correctly connected, your device set up should look similar to this;

NOTE: (When Fully Charged), the jumper-starter pack device will provide up to
(20) Twenty repeated jump-start attempts.
Precaution: DUE TO BATTERY EXPLOSION AND CORROSIVE ACID INJURY
POTENTIAL, NEVER ATTEMPT TO BOOST OR JUMP START A
FROZEN BATTERY**
Precaution: BEFORE BOOSTING, MAKE CERTAIN TO CHECK FOR LOOSE OR
POOR FITTING POST AND TERMINAL CONNECTIONS. IT IS
RECOMMENDED THAT THE BATTERY POSTS & TERMINALS ARE
CLEAN, CORROSION-FREE AND TIGHTENED**
Step #6) Attempt to start the vehicle. If the vehicle starts & runs under its own power, proceed to Step #9
Step #7) If the vehicle does not start, or run under its own power and requiring an
additional jump start attempt; the following actions must be taken. To insure
proper jump starter pack device recovery; allow a (1) one minute time period
to pass before attempting to use the device for another vehicle jump start.

Section-B) Jump Starter Pack Device Use Continued:
Step #8) BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, confirm if the indicator light is illuminated.
If It is flashing, **REPEAT STEPS #5 & #6 ** By locating the Manual Activation Button; that is typically
on the side of the Smart Clamp Safety Box. (Once located press and hold the Manual Activation Button
for 1 to 3 seconds; and then release the Manual Activation Button. Confirm that the indicator light
should be solid and not flashing). This procedure may have to be repeated before each jump start
attempt.
Step #9) Once the vehicle has started and is running under its own power, safely disconnect the jump-starter
pack devices Smart Clamps red (+) positive battery terminal, and then disconnect the black (-) negative
ground battery clamp from the running vehicles battery port/post/or plug terminal.
