Thank you for purchasing our products!
You are advised to keep this user manual throughout the entire life of the product.
SAFETY MEASURES AND PRECAUTIONS
The device should only be installed and maintained when the power is off by qualified personnel authorized to perform
this type of work and in line with the local standard for the safe installation of electrical wiring and equipment and safety
requirements.
Read this manual carefully before using the device.
Keep the device for at least 2 hours under operating conditions before connecting it (to avoid condensation).
Do not open, modify and/or repair the device by yourself.
Electrical equipment connected to the device outputs should be protected by circuit breakers with a 10 A current rating.
The device should be operated and maintained in compliance with the requirements of the local standard for the safe
installation of electrical wiring and equipment, the Electrical Installations Code, and the Safety Rules for the Operation of the
Electrical Installations of Customers.
INTENDED USE
The eight-channel I/O interface module is designed for industrial and home automation systems, and the switching of low-
loads with group control functionality (centralized switching function).
FEATURES
-Absence of a single control center –failure of any module does not result in the failure of the entire system.
-Selectable switch type for each input –toggle wall switch or non-locking push button (tactile switch).
-Unlimited number of switches connected a single input to control the selected output from different locations.
-Tying the auxiliary inputs of different modules at a single central switch.
-Configuring selected inputs to detect long presses, which allows them to be used to control a group of outputs.
-The status of the selected outputs is retained in non-volatile memory when powering off and is restored upon re-
activation.
-Ability to automatically turn off outputs after a preset time period.
-Setting operating scenarios via ModBus RTU (RS-485) using free software and saving these settings in non-volatile
memory.
-Connection to RS-485 is only required for initial configuration of the module and is not needed during operation
(however, connection to RS-485 maintains direct control during the operation of the device).

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The eight-channel I/O interface module is a device with microprocessor controlled electronic circuitry.
By default, 8 inputs correspond to 8 outputs. Another additional input is designed to control the user-selected outputs
(centralized switching function).
The RS-485 interface ensures the configuration of the device, output control and reading input/output status on a ModBus
RTU. The user can set parameters using any software that supports the ModBus RTU protocol; it is only required for the
initial configuration of the device and is not needed during further operation (however, connection to RS-485 maintains
additional direct control during operation of the device). Parameter settings are stored in non-volatile memory.
The overall dimensions and appearance of the device are shown in Fig. 1. The device is mounted onto a standard 35 mm
wide DIN-rail. The width of the module is 3 standard DIN units.
The status of each output, the availability of input power, and data exchange are displayed by LEDs on the front panel.

documentation on the RS-485 network topology for details);

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The device is intended for operation under the following conditions:
Ambient operating temperature
-35 …+45°С (continuous)
Atmospheric pressure
84 …106,7 kPa
Relative humidity (@ +25°C)
<85%, non-condensing
The device is not intended for operation:
-Under exposure to strong vibrations and shocks;
-At high humidity;
-In aggressive environments that contain acids, alkalis, etc., or in heavily contaminated environments (dust, oil, grease,
etc.)
The time period between powering off the device and turning it back on should be at least 3 seconds.
Prevent terminals and internal elements of the device from the ingress of moisture.
MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to service the device once every six months to check the reliability of the connections and integrity of the
enclosure.
Do not use abrasive materials and/or organic compounds (alcohol, gasoline, solvents, etc.) to clean the device.
GUARANTEE
The product’s service life is 10 years. The storage life is 3 years at a temperature in the range of -40 to +60 °C and relative
humidity up to 80%.
The warranty period for the device is 3 years from the date of sale.
Warranty service is provided at the place of purchase or at the manufacturer’s location. The manufacturer carries out non-
warranty or out-of-warranty servicing of the device at the rates in effect at the time.
WARNING! The buyer loses their right to warranty service if the device has been operated in violation of the requirements
set out in this user manual.
