appliance and adhere to the following precautions stated in this manual.
FOREWORD
When using your Rice Cooker, basic safety precautions should always be
observed, including the following:

Read all instructions before operating appliance.
Connect the cooker only to a properly wired wall outlet (220-240V). Do not over use extension cords or
adaptors.
Handle power cord carefully. Do not bend or pull on the power cord. Always unplug from outlet when not
in use. Allow unit to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or plug or when the appliance malfunctions. Send it back
to the authorized service agent for service or repair as special tools are required.
To protect against electrical hazards, do not allow water or liquids to spill onto plug, power cord or the
switch mechanism. Do not immerse these parts or the body of the rice cooker in water, or any other
liquids.
Unplug from mains outlets when not in use and before cleaning.
Do not let power cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
Avoid touching hot surfaces. Use handles whenever necessary. Take caution of hot steam when rice is
cooking.
Always use the rice cooker in a dry and even surface.
Keep appliance away from children and infants.
To disconnect, remove the plug, do not pull the cord.
The use of other attachments or accessories are not recommended as it may cause hazards.
Deformation or failure may take place when the cooker is used at unstable places, places exposed to
water or humidity and other places adjacent to other heating sources.
Do not use the appliance for any other purpose other than its intended use.
Keep the cooking pot and interior of the rice cooker heating pan clean and free of any foreign particles.
Always keep the pot and cooking body clean and dry.
This rice cooker is for household domestic use only.
Do not use harsh, abrasives or caustic cleansers when cleaning this appliance.
When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and all sides for air ventilation. On surface
where heat may cause a problem, an insulated hot pad is recommended.
Do not switch on when the appliance is over turned or laid on its side.
Place the appliance on a flat surface when in use.
Extreme caution must be exercised when moving appliance containing hot water.
Never place the cooker on a flammable surface. (e.g.. table cloth, carpet, etc.)

MEASURING THE RICE
Use the measuring cup provided. Each cup of uncooked plain rice normally can give about
2 bowls of cooked rice.

Before cooking, wash the rice thoroughly under cold running water to remove starch. Use a
colander or ne sieve for this. DO NOT use the inner pot of the Rice cooker as you may damage
the stainless steel layer of the pot. If this occurs it may result in unsatisfactory cooking. NOTE:
Drier and uer rice is obtained by washing rice rst.

How to use
使用方法
To ensure that the rice is cooked evenly, make sure rice is evenly distributed in the pot and not piled
up on one side. Before placing the cooking pot into the cooker, check that both the heating plate,
and the magnetic thermostat inside the insulation pot as well as the outer surface and base of the
pot are all clean (without any leftover food particles or rice grains) and dry. Once the pot is inserted,
turn it left and right to ensure proper contact in between the pot, heating plate and magnetic
thermostat.
COVER THE OUTER LID
When covering the outer lid, press down until you hear a click. If cover is not securely
tightened, it will aect the cooking.
CONNECT THE POWER CORD
Connect the power socket to the side of the rice cooker.
Plug into a 220-240V~ power mains supply wall outlet.
SETTING FOR RICE / MULTIGRAIN COOK
Power on, the display will show ”- - - -”.
Press on “menu”once, the rice led will start to blink with the display showing“ ”.
Press “start”or wait a few seconds, the display “ ”will start to circle indicating that
cooking has started.
To cancel the cooking at any point in time, press“start”.
OPEN THE LID & STIR THE RICE
After the rice is cooked, open the lid and loosen the rice well regardless of whether is
rice is to be served immediately or to be kept warm. Then close the cover and leave it
to“KEEP WARM”.
The longer the rice is kept warm, the browner the bottom layer.
PORRIDGE AND BABY PORRIDGE
For porridge, use a proportion of 1 cup rice to 4 cups of water. Avoid exceeding the 5
cup indicating line as the contents may overow.
Press on the “menu” button repeatedly until “porridge”or “bb porridge” LED lights up.
The preset timing for porridge is 70 minutes. And for BB porridge is 90 minutes.
If you wish to shorten or extend the cooking time, you may press on“+”or“-”button.
Lastly press start or wait a few seconds to begin cooking.
The display will start a countdown of the cooking progress.
AUTOMATIC KEEP WARM FUNCTION
When the rice is fully cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to“Keep Warm”
function and the keep warm led will light up. The display will show ”bb”. The rice will
now be kept warm for as long as the cooker power is on. Press“Start”key to turn o
keep warm mode.

SOUP

The preset timing for porridge is 90 minutes.
If you wish to shorten or extend the cooking time, you may press on“+”or“-”button.
Lastly press start or wait a few seconds to begin cooking.
The display will start a countdown of the cooking progress.
After cooking, the cooker will automatically switch to keep warm mode.
CAKE
Add the ingredients into the pot. Avoid exceeding the 3 cup indicating line to allow
space for the cake to expand.
Press on the “menu” button repeatedly until “cake”LED lights up.
The preset timing for porridge is 50 minutes.
If you wish to shorten or extend the cooking time, you may press on“+”or“-”button.
Lastly press start or wait a few seconds to begin cooking.
The display will start a countdown of the cooking progress.
After cooking, the cooker will automatically switch to keep warm mode.
KEEP WARM
Press on the “menu” button repeatedly until “keep warm” LED lights up.
The display will show“bb”. This function will remain on as long as the cooker is
powered on.
To cancel any of the above functions, press “start”.

Care and Cleaning

Before using the rice cooker for the rst time, wash the cooking pot, steam rack and inner
steam shield with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
AFTER EACH USE
1. Remove plug from wall socket and cooker and allow unit to cool.
2. Wash rice pot, steamer rack and inner steam shield with warm soapy water.
3. Do not immerse main body in water.
4. Clean main body with a soft damp cloth.
6. Assemble back for next use.
Caring for your Non Stick pot
Scratches and peeling of non stick layer
This is usually caused by excessive scraping. Always use a plastic or wooden spatula. Wash the pot with a soft
sponge and not with a metal scrubber. Use dishwashing detergent, avoid using harsh chemicals, tough cleaning
creams and agents. If your pot has already peeled, contact your local distributor to purchase a new replacement
pot.
Dented pots
Pots may be dented when impacted. Dented pots may affect the cooking results and may also damage the
heating plate. Contact your local distributor to purchase a new replacement pot.
IMPORTANT NOTE
A. When your rice cooker is new, you may notice some slight smoking or odor when in
use for the rst time. This is normal with most heating appliances. It will not recur after
the rst use. This does not aect the safety of your appliance, nor the quality of the rice.
B. Do not keep small amount of rice in the cooker for extended period of time, the rice
will become drier.
Using the steamer Rack

HEATING UP FOOD
While cooking rice, you can use the steamer rack to heat up or steam food.
A. Place steamer rack on top of the rice pot.
B. Place food on a heat proof dish into the the steamer rack.
C. Cook as per rice function.
STEAMING FOOD
You can also use your cooker as a steamer without cooking rice.
A. Pour some water into the rice pot.
B. Place steamer rack on top of the rice pot.
C. Place food on a heat proof dish into the the steamer rack.
D. Cook as per rice function.
E: Use a self timer to monitor your cooking progress.
F: Open the lid ocassionally to check if the water has boiled dry, rell if necessary.

Burnt residue on pot bottom
Always clean the bottom of the pot before placing into the cooker. Ensure that the bottom is dry and free from
any foreign objects. This would prevent the pot and heater from damage.
Fungus growth on pot
This may happen if the cooking pot and accessories are not dried when stored for long periods. Always dry pot
and accessories before storage. Store in a dry and air free environment.
How to use

PRESET FUNCTION
You may preset the cooker to start cooking at a later time. Simply add in all the
ingredients. Select the cooking function, press on preset, the preset LED will light up.
Choose between 30 min intervals from 30 mins to 24 hours. Press start to begin. The
LED display will countdown the time to begin cooking.
To cancel, press start button again.

Teriyaki & Shrimp Rice

Ingredients:
1/2 Ib. raw medium shrimp
1 small onion
1 cup frozen peas
1.5 cups uncooked jasmine rice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 cups of water
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar
Instructions:
1. Thaw shrimp by first placing in a colander and runninhg cool water over it.
2. Finely dice the onion and place it in the bottom of the rice cooker along with the frozen
peas. Add the uncooked rice, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir these ingredients
together.
3. Add the shrimp to the top of the rice mixture, then pour in 2 cups water. Close the lid and
set the cooker to cook rice.
4. Once the rice cooker finishes its cooking cycle, let it rest for an additional 5-10 minutes on
the keep warm cycle before opening the lid. While waiting, stir together the soy sauce and
brown sugar.
5.Finally, open the lid and pour the soy sauce mixture over the contents in the rice cooker.
Use a rice paddle to gently fold the sauce into the rice. Serve hot, with sriracha or sliced
green onions if desired.

Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya
Serves 4 Preparation Time

Ingredients:
3 tablespoon butter
1 small onion diced
1 re ball pepper diced
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
13.4 ounces andouille sausage sliced
1.5 cups of white rice
3 cups of chicken broth
2 cups of cooked shredded chicken
1 teaspoon creole or cajun seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 green onion sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add onion and pepper and saute
until tender, 3-5 minutes. Add garlic and sausage and cook until everything is well browned.
2. Add the rice and broth to the rice cooker. Add the sauteed vegetables and sausage, along
with the chicken. Stir in the seasoning and pepper and mix well.
3.Set rice cooker to cook. When rice is done, stir in the green onions and parsley and serve
immediately.

Chicken Rice

Ingredients:
1 skin-on, boneless chicken thigh
1 clove garlic, minced
1 piece ginger, 1 in (2 cm) minced
1 scallion
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
½ teaspoon salt
10 oz rice(300 g)
1 ½ cups water(360 mL)
Instructions:
1. Put washed rice, garlic, ginger, salt, chicken bouillon, and water in a rice cooker pot and
mix well.
2. Add chicken thigh to the pot skin-side down, and place the scallion over the chicken.
3. Cook for 30 minutes, or until the rice and chicken are cooked through.
4. For sauce, combine scallion, white sugar, sesame oil, grated garlic, grated ginger, soy
sauce, vinegar, miso, and red chili flakes. Mix well.
5.When the rice is ready, remove scallion and chicken. Stir the rice well to fluff it up and slice
the chicken.
6. Press cooked rice into a bowl to make a dome shape. Then turn the bowl upside down
onto the serving plate.
7. Serve the sliced chicken with cilantro, tomatoes, and lemon, and pour the sauce over to
your preference.

Sushi Rice

Ingredients:
1.5 cups sushi rice
2 cups of water
1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
Instructions:
1. Place the rice and water into a rice cooker. Cook the rice according to the “white rice”
setting on the rice cooker.
2. When the rice has finished cooking, evenly pour the seasoned rice vinegar all over the
rice. Toss the rice around to further distribute the rice vinegar, taking care to be gentle, and
not mash the rice.
3. It is now ready to be used for Sushi.

Japanese Cotton Cheesecake

Ingredients:
1 block or 225g cream cheese
2 eggs, whites and yolks separated
80g castor sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
40g cake flour
200ml milk
Icing sugar (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cut cream cheese into small cubes and let it soften completely at room temperature. Using
a whisk or hand mixer, whisk the cream cheese until completely smooth.
2. Add in egg yolks, sugar and lemon juice. Whisk until everything is combined thoroughly
with no lumps.
3. Sift cake flour into the mixture and mix until fully incorporated. Pour in milk and whisk until
smooth.
4. In a clean bowl using clean hand mixer attachments, whisk the egg whites on high speed
until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the cream cheese mixture in three
batches.
5.Generously grease the interior of the rice cooker pot with butter. Pour the batter into the
pot.
6. Close the lid of the rice cooker, select the ‘Cake’ function, and press “Start”.Insert a
toothpick into the middle of the cake. If it comes out with wet batter, give it more time in the
rice cooker. If it comes out clean, the cake is done. The cake should also be pulling away
from the sides of the pot and the surface should have an even brown colour.
7. When the cake is completely cooked, turn off the rice cooker and let the cake rest inside
for around 30 minutes, with the lid of the cooker open.
8. Take out the pot and place a flat plate over it. Carefully invert the pot and the cake should
slide down onto the plate. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Dust with icing powder before
serving.

Apple Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients:
1 apple, sliced
1 cinnamon stick
2 tbsp honey
3 eggs, whites and yolks separated
3 tbsp sugar
40g melted butter
3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup plain flour
¾ tsp baking powder
⅛ tsp salt
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan over low heat, cook the apple slices, cinnamon stick, and honey until the
apples have softened slightly. Set aside and let cool.
2. In a clean mixing bowl, whisk egg whites with a hand mixer, adding in the sugar in
batches. Stop when medium peaks form.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk egg yolks, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir this
mixture into the egg whites in two batches.
4. Sift all the dry ingredients into the mixture and fold gently till well-combined.
5. Generously grease the interior of a rice cooker pot with butter. Lay down the apple slices
neatly till they cover the bottom of the pot, and set aside the leftover sauce from cooking the
apples. Pour in the cake batter.
6. Select the ‘Cake’ function and set it to 50 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the middle of the
cake. If it comes out with wet batter, give it more time in the rice cooker. If it comes out
clean, the cake is done.
7. Carefully flip the cake out onto a plate, then lightly brush the top of the cake with the
reserved apple sauce.
