MEASURING THE RICE
Use the measuring cup provided. Each cup of uncooked plain rice normally can
give about 2 bowls of cooked rice.
WASH RICE BEFORE COOKING
ADDING WATER TO THE INNER POT
Refer to the table below for indication.
1.
Before cooking, wash the rice thoroughly under cold
running water to remove starch. Use a colander or ne
sieve for this. DO NOT use the inner pot of the Rice cooker
as you may damage the non-stick coating of the pot. If this
occurs it may result in unsatisfactory cooking. NOTE: Drier
and uer rice is obtained by washing rice rst.
For softer, uer rice - add a little more water
For rmer, crunchier rice - reduce a little water
For the rst few times, you may need to experiment with
slight variations in the relative proportions of rice to water.
In order to achieve results bes suited to your personal taste.
4. CHECKING THAT THE COOKING POT IS SET
PROPERLY ONTO THE INSULATION POT
Before placing the cooking pot into the cooker, check that
both the heating plate, and the magnetic thermostat
inside the insulation pot as well as the outer surface and
base of the pot are all clean (without any leftover food
particles or rice grains) and dry. Once the pot is inserted,
turn it left and right to ensure proper contact in between
the pot, heating plate and magnetic thermostat.
