Frequently Asked Questions about the irock!® 450FM Beamit
Q: What is the Beamit?
A: The Beamit is a wireless music adapter that connects to any audio
source and broadcasts that audio to any radio or stereo within10-30
feet.
Q: How can I achieve best performance and sound quality from my Beamit?
A: 1) Turn the Beamit off when not in use.
2) Keep the Beamit within 10 feet of the radio that it is transmitting to.
3) Keep the cord that connects the Beamit to the audio player straight,
positioning the player as far from the Beamit as possible.
4) Before using the Beamit, choose a station with no FM broadcast or the
weakest signal in your area.
Q: Should I connect my Beamit to the headphone or line-out jack of
my player?
A: There is an advantage to using the headphone jack over the line-out
jack. The headphone jack will allow you to control the volume of the
audio source to achieve the most optimal audio quality. If using a line
out jack, you will be unable to control the volume of the audio source.
Q: How come the FM reception has a lot of static?
A: Ensure that there is no interference such as metal materials between
the FM stereo's antenna and the Beamit. In addition, relocate the
Beamit as close to the FM stereo's antenna until reception is improved.
Q: How come a battery icon appears randomly?
A: This is a "Battery Low" icon (battery icon with an "X" through it). It
will only appear when the battery is low. Low means, that the battery
is equal or lesser than 1 volt. Please charge it.

Some audio sources output level is either too high or too low at the
line-out jack. If it is too high, the sound might be distorted. If it is too
low, the sound might be too noisy. If the audio sounds distorted, turn
down the volume on the audio source (around medium level), and then
adjust the volume using the stereo volume control until the audio sounds
better.
