Welcome to Vizit
Your Vizit photo frame was designed to be simple to use
and fun to have—even addictive! To help you get familiar
with your Vizit, we encourage you to browse through this
User Guide. You’ll learn how to activate your VizitMe.com
account and start sharing photo-worthy moments with
family and friends in just a few short steps.
Send photos to your Vizit photo frame by email, MMS
or upload at VizitMe.com, and photos will display within
moments. Be sure to invite friends to your Vizit frame
from VizitMe.com, so they can begin sending photos –
more photos, more fun.

Using your Vizit is very simple.
The device has just one button and
an intuitive touch screen interface.
The Power Button switches the Vizit
frame on and off.
The Status Light illuminates when
Vizit has a successful mobile
connection to VizitMe.com for photo

from your memory cards.

Plug the AC adapter into a power
outlet, then into the back of the base.
The Vizit frame will startup
automatically. This will take about a
minute. After you see the Vizit logo
the slideshow will begin.
At first you’ll see a few photos from
Isabella Products. Once you activate
your account, you can send photos
from your computer or mobile phone.

1. Go to VizitMe.com and click
on Log in at the top of any page.
2. On the Login page, click on Don’t
have an account yet?
3. Follow the steps on the screen
and enter the requested information.
Be sure to include your mobile
phone number for sending photos
from your phone to your frame, and
your primary email address. If you
have more than one email address,
add that as a friend (refer to pg. 32).
When you create a Frame Name
and Password, pick a really good
name—this will be the email address
for your frame at VizitMe.com and
will stay with your frame forever.

Once you’ve created your
VizitMe.com account, click Upload to
choose photos to send to your frame.
On the Upload page, click Add, then
find and select the photos you want
to upload from your computer.
Once you’ve selected a few photos,
click Upload and the photos will be
sent to your Vizit frame.
How to send photos?
From your mobile phone: Take a
photo, choose ‘send’, send to your
FrameName@VizitMe.com, enter a
subject line for a caption, and send it!
From your email: Start an email to
FrameName@VizitMe.com, attach
a photo, enter a subject line for a
caption, and send it!
TIP: If you have more than one mobile phone
or email address, make sure to add yourself as
a Friend (refer to pg. 32).

7 New Photos
A New Photo popup will appear at
the bottom of your frame each time
new photos arrive. Tap this message
to play a quick slideshow of the new
photos.
At the end, choose Play Again to
replay the new photos, or choose
Return to go back to the photos that
were previously playing.
You can choose to hide this feature
by changing the New Photo Popup
option in Settings (refer to pg. 21).

Tap anywhere on the Vizit screen to
pause on a photo and show the photo
caption, arrows, and menu carousel.
The Photo Caption at the top displays
the date, sender, and title for photos
sent by email or MMS. Captions can be
edited on VizitMe.com (refer to pg. 30).
Tap the arrows to see the previous or
next photo.
The Carousel menu at the bottom
displays several options. Tap the
smaller panels on either side of
Gallery | Play to see all the options.
After a few seconds, these features
will hide and the photo stays paused.
Touch anywhere on the screen again to
resume playing your photos.
NOTE: When playing photos from SD or USB
memory cards, captions and carousel features
are not available. Simply touch the screen, then
tap Eject to return to playing your Vizit’s photos.

Carousel Menu Options
Gallery
The Gallery displays thumbnails of all
of the photos on your Vizit frame.
To browse through the Gallery pages
tap the right or left arrow.
To select a photo to display, tap
its thumbnail. The selected photo
will be displayed, along with the
Carousel. After a few seconds, the
Carousel will hide and pause on this
photo. Tap the screen to resume
playing your photos.
Vizit will hold up to 150 photos at
a time. Once you have 150 photos,
the oldest photos - except Favorites
- will be automatically removed
as new photos arrive. Old photos
will be saved in your VizitMe.com
account under My Photos (refer to
pg. 34).

Carousel Menu Options
The Play menu allows you to
choose a slideshow. Options
include:
All Photos: every photo on
your Vizit will play through the
slideshow.
Favorites: only photos you have
marked as favorites will play
through the slideshow (refer to
pg. 14).
Most Recent: only photos received
within the last two days will play
through the slideshow.
Tapping the X at the top left corner
closes the menu and resumes the
last slideshow.

Favorite photos will always be kept
on your Vizit frame.
1a. Favorite: Mark a photo as a
favorite by touching Favorite on the
Carousel. An image of a heart will
be displayed for confirmation. You
can’t Remove a favorite photo until
the photo is UnFavorited.

photo by touching UnFavorite on
the Carousel. The heart will no
longer be displayed on the photo.

Remove photos from your Vizit frame
to make room for new photos or
delete old or unwanted photos.
2a. Remove: To delete a photo, tap
Remove on the Carousel. An image
of a trash can will be displayed on the
photo, and the photo will be deleted
(unless you touch Retrieve).
2b. Retrieve: Tap Retrieve to undo
Remove, or to restore any of the
last 10 photos that were replaced by
newer photos.
In your gallery view, photos marked
with a trashcan icon can be retrieved.
To retrieve, choose the photo then tap
Retrieve on the Carousel. The trashcan
icon will change to the retrieving icon.
Once the retrieving icon is gone, the
photo has been restored.
NOTE: Only one photo can be retieved at a
time.

Rotate
Adjust a rotated photo to display
correctly by tapping Rotate on the
Carousel.
This will rotate the photo 90
degrees. Continue rotating until
the photo is in the desired position.
The photo will be saved in this
position on your frame, as well as on
VizitMe.com.

Some photos, such as portraits, are
automatically sized to fit within the
display, but appear with black space
along the sides.
Tap Fill Screen (3a) to enlarge the
photo to fill the display.
Tap Fit to Screen (3b) to restore the
photo to the original size.
The photo will be saved with your
setting.

Friends
The Friends menu displays a list of
friends and family you have invited
to send photos to your Vizit (refer
to pg. 32).
Friends are listed alphabetically. To
scroll through your friends, tap either
at the top or bottom of the list.
Tapping the X at the top left corner
closes the menu and resumes the
slideshow.

You can choose to stop receiving photos
from any of your friends.
Choosing Block will open your
Friends list.
Tapping that friend’s name will change
their status from UnBlocked to Blocked.
Tapping again will unblock.
Tapping the X at the top left corner
saves your changes and resumes the
slideshow.
If you wish to also delete photos from
a friend, choose Remove from the
Carousel (refer to pg. 15).

Lock Screen Carousel Menu Options
Lock Screen will prevent anyone else
from accessing your Vizit frame by
requiring a 4-digit code to unlock
the touch screen. Lock Screen is
disabled until a security code is
created on the Frame Settings page
in your VizitMe.com account (refer
to pg. 36).
After you’ve created a security
code on VizitMe.com, tapping Lock
Screen will prompt you to enter your
code. Tap to enter each digit, then
tap Lock to lock your Vizit frame.
To unlock, tap the screen, enter your
code, then tap Unlock.
If your Vizit frame gets locked
accidentally, it can be remotely
unlocked from your VizitMe.com
account.

Tap Settings (4a) to change the
following options on your Vizit frame.
Tap an item to edit the setting (4b-4e).
4b. Image Duration: choose how long
each photo is displayed.

photos transition during the slideshow.

Choose Reply to send a message
to the sender of the current photo.
Want to say “Thanks!” or “Great
photo!”? The sender will receive an
email reply instantly.
Create up to 8 reply choices on
the Frame Settings page in your
VizitMe.com account (refer to
pg. 36).
Tapping the X at the top left corner
cancels and resumes the slideshow.

Send photos from your frame along to
other friends and family with the Share
feature.
Choose Share to forward the current
photo to any of your friends.
Your friends are listed alphabetically. To

by email. If your friend has a Vizit, the
photo will be sent directly to their frame
instead.

To manage the photos on your Vizit
frame, go to VizitMe.com and click
the Log in button at the top of any
page.
Login using the Frame Name and
Password that you created when
you activated your account (refer to
pg. 8).
VizitMe.com allows you to upload
photos, edit photos on your Vizit
frame, invite friends and family to
send photos, and choose photos
from other photo sites to send to
your frame.

My Frame
When you login to VizitMe.com,
your account opens to a page
showing your frame name at the
top, mirroring all the photos on your
Vizit frame. From here you can edit
photos already on your Vizit frame.
Any photos you Upload here will be
automatically sent to your frame.
To edit a photo, just click on the
thumbnail. If you delete a photo
here, the photo will be deleted from
your frame as well. Trashcan icons
mark older photos that have been
replaced by newer photos.
The following pages describe
uploading, editing, and deleting in
detail. To learn about the My Photos
page, refer to pg. 34.
Upload your Photos
Photos uploaded on your frame
page will be sent to your Vizit frame.
Click Upload in the photo gallery.
On the upload page, click Add. Find
and select the photo(s) to upload
from your computer. Click Add
again if you want to select additional
photos to upload.
To remove an individual photo from
the upload, click its trashcan icon, or
cancel the entire upload by clicking
Cancel.
Click the Upload button to begin
uploading.

Click the Photo Information icon
to view existing captions.
To edit the caption or orientation
of a photo, or to delete it, click the
thumbnail.
In the Edit Photo panel you can:
• Change the photo’s title by typing
in the Caption box.
• Rotate the photo by clicking on the
Rotate button.
• Use the Copy menu to make a new
copy in My Photos (refer to pg. 34).
• Delete the photo from your frame
by clicking the Trashcan icon.
TIP: You might want to copy the photo to My
Photos before deleting it from your frame.

Live Feed to your Vizit Frame
Under Live Feed, you can subscribe
to free photo feeds from other sites
that will be automatically sent to
your Vizit frame. New feeds are
always becoming available.
Click the icon for any feed, then
complete the sign-up info and click
SAVE.
Photos received from live feeds are
included within the total number of
photos allowed on your photo plan.

Invite Friends and Family
Friends and family can easily send
photos right to your Vizit frame
for you to see instantly. Because
we care about your privacy and
security, only friends that you invite
are allowed to send photos to your
Vizit frame.
To invite your friends and family,
click the Invite icon in the Friends &
Family pane.
In the Invite Friend pop-up, enter
a friend’s name and email address
or mobile phone number. Click
Invite to send your friend an email
invitation. Your Vizit can only receive
photos from invited addresses and
mobile numbers.
Once you’ve invited friends and
family (refer to pg. 32), click any
friend under Friends & Family to
add a photo icon or manage their
permission to send photos.
In the Edit Friend panel you can:
• Click the photo icon to upload a
new photo icon for that friend.
• Update the email address or
mobile phone number that friend is
allowed to send photos from.
• Add a frame address for sharing
photos if that friend has a Vizit, too.
• Click the Block button to block
that friend from sending photos.
• Click the Trashcan icon to remove
that friend permanently.

My Photos
Next to the tab with your frame
name is a tab called My Photos. Use
My Photos to store additional photos
in your account, separate from the
photos currently on your frame.
When your frame is full, older photos
will be moved here automatically.
You can upload more photos here,
or import your photos from other
sites into VizitMe.com, so you can
choose photos to send to your
frame.
To send photos from My Photos to
your frame, click a thumbnail, and
choose Copy this image to your
frame.
NOTE: Editing or deleting photos in My
Photos will not affect your Vizit frame. To
make changes to the photos on your frame,
go to your frame tab. If your Vizit photo plan
ever becomes inactive, your photos will be
collected in My Photos.
Under Import Photos from Web, you can
login to your accounts on other photo
sites, and import those photos to your
VizitMe.com account.
Click on a site and then follow the steps
on the left under How to Import Photos
on each screen.
TIP: Once you upload or import photos into My
Photos, check the rotation and add captions
before you choose Copy to frame.

Change Frame Settings
On your frame page, next to the
frame image, click the Frame
Settings icon to:
• Change your notification settings:
Send Email to Me sends you an email when
a new photo is sent to your Vizit frame.
Send Email to Sender sends an email
confirmation to your friends when they
send photos.
• Create a Security Code for your
Vizit frame or remotely unlock a
locked frame (refer to pg. 20).
• Change the Replies that you can
send from your Vizit frame (refer to
pg. 22).

How do I start my frame?

What’s that little circle on the
front side of my Vizit frame?
It’s not a button! It’s a window for the
light sensor. Refer to the Energy Saver
setting on pg. 21.
How do I activate my
account?
Refer to pg. 8.
How do I upload photos?
Refer to pg. 9.
Why aren’t I receiving photos
from my friends?
Make sure you have invited the correct
email address and/or mobile number.
You can add a second email address,
too.
How many friends can I
invite?
As many as you want!
How do I know my Vizit has
received a new photo?
You’ll see a New Photo popup
message on your frame each time
new photos arrive. Tap this message
to see a quick slideshow of the new
photos. If the New Photo popup does
not appear, check the Settings option
in the Carousel Menu. Refer to pg. 10.
If you’re away from your Vizit, you can
have an email sent to you whenever a
photo is sent to your frame. Check the
Notification settings in your VizitMe.
com account. Refer to pg. 36.
How do I navigate my Vizit
frame?
Tap the screen anywhere and then
the Carousel Menu will appear. Refer
to pg. 11. Tapping the screen with your
fingertip or fingernail works best.
How do I pause on one
photo?
During a slideshow tap the photo that
you want to pause, the Carousel Menu
will appear but then fade away after
10 seconds and the photo will remain
paused. To resume the slideshow, just
tap the display again.
How do I exit the Gallery?
Select a photo or wait 30 seconds for
the slideshow to resume.
How do I block a sender?
An inappropriate photo that enters
your frame can be deleted. To prevent
receiving more photos from this friend,
tap the Block menu on the Carousel
and then choose the friend to block
(refer to pg. 19) or login to VizitMe.com
and block that friend (refer to pg. 33).
How do I delete photos?
From your frame, refer to pg. 15. From
VizitMe.com, refer to pg. 30.
Troubleshooting
Vizit Frame
What if I don’t see anything
on my display?
Make sure that the AC adapter is
plugged in to your frame and a wall
outlet, and that your frame is turned on
(refer to pg. 7). Tap the display, in case
the Energy Saver has put it to sleep
(refer to pg. 21). If you still don’t see
anything, there may not be any photos
on the frame—check your VizitMe.com
account.
What if I the status light
doesn’t come on?
Has your photo plan been
discontinued? Check your VizitMe.
com account. Otherwise, the frame is
searching for a cellular connection to
VizitMe.com. Wait for the frame to find
service, or try moving your frame to a
new location. Contact us if you need a
coverage map.
What if new photos aren’t
arriving?
Your frame might be idling to save
power. Tap the screen and your
frame will check VizitMe.com for new
photos.
What if my Vizit freezes?
Unplug your Vizit momentarily, then
plug it back in again. This will restart
the frame. Don’t worry, you won’t
lose any photos, since they’re all on
VizitMe.com.
How to I restore the original
settings?
Press and hold the power button
for 5 seconds, until the status light
begins to blink slowly. This will restore
the original settings in the Settings
menu, and also prompt you to
recalibrate the touchscreen.
How do I completely reset
my frame?
Press and hold the power button
for 20 seconds, until the status light
begins to blink quickly. This will restore
the original settings in the Settings
menu, Unlock a Locked frame (refer
to pg. 20), delete all photos on the
frame, and prompt you to recalibrate
the touchscreen. Once this is complete,
your photos from VizitMe.com will start
reloading. This will not change your
VizitMe.com account or photo plan.
If you really want to delete all photos,
remove the photos under My Frame in
your VizitMe.com account first (refer to
pg. 28 and 30).
WARNING : Completely resetting
your frame may consume a significant
allowance of your photo plan
depending on the number of photos
on your My Frame page that will be
resent to your frame.
