1. Lay out the Turtle Hop water bouncer on a flat surface. Make sure there are no
sharp objects that could damage or cause a puncture to the water bouncer.
2. Prior to inflation, check the water bouncer to ensure the jump surface is securely
on and tight.
3. There is a valve on the water bouncer that is used to inflate the bouncer. You can
use a shop vacuum or power inflater to inflate the bouncer and then top o with
the pump that is provided.
Fill the tube with air until firmly inflated. Check to be sure it is firm
before each use. If you don’t have a valve adapter you can still inflate your Turtle
Hop water bouncer by simply putting the nozzle of your shop vacuum to the open
valve and blow the air in. Once the tube is inflated, pull the nozzle away and quickly
close the valve. Use the foot pump with adapter that is provided to top o and keep
full and firm.
Air fluctuations are normal depending on outside air and water temperatures. In the
cool morning, your tube may look like it is going flat due to a leak when it actually
is soft due to the air temperature. TOP OFF WITH AIR WHEN NEEDED AND KEEP
TUBE FIRM WHEN IN USE.
4. Attach LADDER by snapping it to the D-rings in the anchor/handle area.
5. Be sure the plugs under the Turtle Hop water bouncer
are closed before using. If water accumulates under the
jump surface of the water bouncer, pull to the shore
and deflate. Then open the plugs to release the water.

Deflate by unscrewing the valve caps to access and open the valve. Let the air flow out
freely. Remove all air for the tube by using the deflation end of a power inflater or shop
vacuum on reverse.
Wipe down the tube with mild soap and water then dry the tube (DO NOT use ARMORAL
or any product that contains silicone or Petroleum Distillates) before folding. Be sure the
tube is DRY before folding.
Fold the deflated tube into a tarp or put into a plastic storage bin. (not included). Wrap
folded tube inside tarp and secure with rope or bungee.
Store product (tube, hardware and parts) in a cool, dry place (DO NOT store directly on
concrete). Place mothballs around stored inflatable to keep mice and insects away.

Repairs and Patching
1. FIND THE HOLE — Inflate the tube until firm and clean with damp towel. While the
tube is DRY, go over it with your hands and feel for the puncture. Often the small holes
look like a scratch so check these areas first. If you find an area that you suspect is a
hole, wet the area and feel for the air. Sometime you will HEAR the whistle of a small
hole before you feel it. BE PATIENT. START ON THE OUTSIDE TOP AND WORK DOWN
ON EACH PANEL.
2. CIRCLE THE HOLE WITH A PEN — This will help you locate the area to patch once
the tube is deflated.
3. CLEAN THE AREA — Make sure the area around the hole is cleaned and dry. Then cut
a patch that will fit over the hole allowing a few inches larger for gluing surface.
4. APPLY PVC GLUE AND PATCH — You can find this adhesive at any West Marine or
Hardware store under “inflatable PVC adhesive.” Place patch over hole and allow to
dry for 5 minutes.
5. OUTLINE THE PATCH WITH AQUA SEAL (sold separately) let stand for 24 hours.
Aqua Seal dries very slowly, but the repair will be PERMANENT once it is sealed.
Patches without Aqua Seal will work, but will not be permanent and eventually
can come o.
