It is recommended that all connections are made and checked before applying
power.
Equipment connected to the MiniSub must not exceed the maximum ratings
given in the specifications.
Outputs 1 & 2 are “High power outlets” and specifically for integrated
and power amplifiers, receivers, video projectors, subwoofers, media
servers or any other product that may require heavy continuous or
transient power.
The “Earth Binding Post” allows separate earth wires to be connected.
An external earth spike may also be connected here. This terminal is
connected to the mains earth internally.
The “Fused IEC power input connector” provides power to the unit
via a fused IEC type connector. The drawer below the input connector
houses the main fuse.
Outputs 3 to 6 are “Low/medium power outlets” and are for medium
to low power source components such as pre amplifiers, optical disc
players, DACs, tuners, phono stages or turntables.
Note: The MiniSub Axis has DC blocking on all outlets.

Once all connections are made and checked power can be applied.
During normal operation the LED indicator will light on the front panel
indicating power is present on both high power and low/medium power
sections.
The MiniSub can be left powered on a day-to-day basis, but should be switched
off if the system is not being used for a significant period of time.
