BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE
1. Remove the product from the box.
2. Remove any packaging from the product.
3. Please retain all packaging until you have
checked and counted all the parts and the
contents against the parts list.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal
use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible
manner.
ASSEMBLING THE ACCESSORIES
Opening the Waterproof Casing:
The camera casing is required to be a very tight
t to maintain image stability and resistance to
water. As such, it is best to get used to how
the release mechanism functions for ease of
battery change and cleaning if required.
1. Locate the tab situated at the top of the
camera casing. This is the waterproof
case lock.
2. Find a method that suits you best to push
the release tab forwards, as indicated by
the directional arrow. While doing this you
must push the arm to the left, indicated by
the triangle, in an upward motion. This will
release the camera housing mechanism.
3. Gently ease the catch up from the lip
of the casing to open the case fully and
remove the camera unit.
4. To close and lock the casing, press the
cover tightly against the rubber seal and
place the catch mechanism onto the lip.
With the catch in place press down on the
on the rear of the mechanism until it snaps
into place, locking the camera case.

The following combinations are possible with
the included accessories:
Helmet mount + mount 1 + long pole +
waterproof case.
Camera + waterproof case + helmet mount.
Helmet mount + mount 1 / long pole + support

CHARGING THE UNIT
Charging the Battery:
This unit can be charged through the included
USB cable.
To charge the unit, connect the Micro-USB end
of the included cable to the unit and the other
end to the supplied plug adaptor, and connect
the adaptor to an active mains outlet. A red
LED indicator will light up to indicate the unit is
charging, and go o once it is fully charged.
NOTE: The camera can be used as normal
while charging.
Accessing and Removing the Battery:
The camera’s rechargeable battery is located
at the bottom of the unit, and can be removed
if necessary.
To access and remove the rechargeable
battery, slide a nail or small object, such as
a pen tip or paperclip, underneath the small
recessed tab at one end of the battery cover
and push upwards to release it. Once the tab
has been unlocked, slide the battery cover
away from the main body of the unit to reveal
the battery inside.
To remove the battery from the camera, hold
the protruding ap at the top and carefully pull
it upwards to lift the battery up and out from
inside the unit.
Replacing the Battery:
To replace the camera’s battery should it run
out, begin by following the steps detailed above
to remove the empty battery from the unit.
Once the old battery has been removed,
carefully slide the replacement into the battery
compartment, ensuring it is installed correctly.
The battery has been correctly installed when
the pull-up ap is facing towards the front of
the camera.
NOTE: Take care to ensure the replacement
battery is of the right type and voltage;
otherwise, the camera may not function
correctly.
WI-FI
Connecting the Camera to Wi-Fi:
To turn on the unit’s Wi-Fi functionality, long-
press the ‘Up’ button on the unit’s control
panel. A Wi-Fi symbol will appear to indicate
this function has been turned on, and the
unit’s Wi-Fi information will be displayed on the
screen.
The unit’s network identication is ‘i67003’.
The security password is 0123456789.
Using the Wi-Fi Function:
Once the Wi-Fi function has been activated,
you can control the unit’s functionality remotely
through the dedicated Sports XVD app,
downloadable from Google Play or the Apple
Store.
Once this app has been downloaded, use your
Wi-Fi connection to sync it with the camera’s
wireless function.
You can now use your smart device as
a screen to preview and shoot remote
photography or video, cycle through your
saved media les at a distance, download les
onto your phone, delete les from the camera’s
memory or share your photos and videos
online.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Turning the Unit On and O:
Long-press the ON/OFF button at the front of
the unit to turn it on. A musical cue will play
and the message ‘Welcome’ will appear on the
screen to indicate the unit is on.
Long-press this button again while the unit is in
operation to turn it o. A musical cue will play
and the message ‘Bye bye’ will appear on the
screen before the unit turns itself o.
Mode Selection:
This unit is equipped with photography
and video functions, as well as time-lapse
photography and slow-motion video options.
You can also view your photos and videos
or change the unit’s settings via the mode
selection menu.

Short-press the Power ON/OFF / Mode
Selection button to cycle through the available
functionality modes. The modes are ordered as
follows:
• Video
• Photography
• Slow-Motion
• View/Gallery
• Settings
Zooming In and Out:
You can zoom the image in and out at any time
using the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons on the unit’s
control panel. Repeatedly press the ‘Up’ button
to zoom into a subject, or the ‘Down’ button to
zoom away from it.
Video Mode:
Short-press the Power ON/OFF/Mode
Selection button once to access Video mode.
When in video mode, press the ‘OK’ button at
the top of the unit to record video. Press this
button again while the camera is capturing
video to stop recording.
Your videos will automatically be saved to the
TF/SD card.
NOTE: You only need to press the ‘OK’ button
once to begin recording video. Long-pressing
and holding this button will have no eect.
Photography Mode:
Short-press the Power ON/OFF / Mode
Selection button twice to access Photography
mode.
When in photography mode, press the
‘OK’ button at the top of the unit to snap
photographs. Your photographs will
automatically be saved to the TF/SD card.
Slow Motion Photography / Time Lapse:
Short-press the Power ON/OFF / Mode
Selection button three times to access Slow
Motion / Time Lapse mode.
When in slow-motion mode, press the ‘OK’
button at the top of the unit to capture slow-
motion video. Press this button again while the
camera is capturing video to stop recording.
Your videos will automatically be saved to the
TF/SD card.
VIEWING YOUR MEDIA
You can view your photos and videos on the
unit’s built-in screen or on your laptop or smart
device, through a compatible SD/TF card.
Short-press the Power ON/OFF / Mode
Selection button three times to access the
View/Gallery mode.
NOTE: This unit has no internal storage. Ensure
a TF/SD card with sucient storage space is
inserted into the unit before attempting to use
it, as you will not be able to save your photos
or video otherwise.
Viewing Your Media On the Built-In Screen:
Use the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons on the unit’s
control panel to cycle through your photos on
the unit’s built-in screen. Use the ‘Up’ button
to move forward through the photos on the
card, from the oldest to the most recent, or the
‘Down’ button to move backwards from your
most recent photo.
Viewing Your Media On a Device:
You can also view your media on any computer
or smart device compatible with a Micro
SD/TF card.
To view the media on a computer or smart
device, insert the relevant Micro SD/TF card
into the corresponding slot on the source
device. Once the card has been inserted, use
the source device’s le system to access and
view your photos and videos.
Fast-Forwarding / Rewinding Videos:
You can fast forward or rewind your video
les using the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ keys on the
unit’s control panel. Use the ‘Up’ key to move
forward through your video, or the ‘Down’ key
to move back or rewind it.

NOTE: The fast forwarding / rewinding process
will automatically stop when the video reaches
its start or end point.
Deleting Media:
You can delete les directly from the camera,
without the need to transfer the SD/TF card or
connect to another device.
To delete a le from your device, rst access the
View/Gallery mode, as detailed above. Once in
View/Gallery mode, choose the le you want to
delete and long-press the ‘OK’ button. A prompt
will appear on the screen asking you to conrm
your selection. Press the ‘Up’ button to cycle
between the ‘Conrmation’ and ‘Cancel’ options
within the prompt, then press the ‘OK’ button
again to conrm or cancel le deletion.
SETTINGS
The settings menu lets you change your
camera’s conguration to suit your preference.
To access the settings menu, press the Power
ON/OFF / Mode Selection button until the
Settings icon appears on your screen, then
press the OK button to enter the menu.
Once within the Settings sub-menu, use the ‘Up’
and ‘Down’ buttons on the unit’s control panel
to cycle through the available settings options.
When an option is highlighted, press the ‘OK’
button to enter the conguration menu for that
specic option and change it as required.
The congurable options are as follows:
Video:
• Video Resolution: 720p 60fps / 720p 30fps
/ 27k 30fps / 4k 30fps
• Sound Recording: ON/OFF
• Time Lapse Length: O / 0.5 seconds /
1 second / 2 seconds

TROUBLESHOOTING

CLEANING & CARE
• The camera needs very little maintenance.
However, the casing may become dirty.
Use a damp soft cloth to clean the case.
For stubborn stains, a small amount of
detergent may be used on the case. It
is recommended that a commercial lens
cleaner is used to prevent damage to the
lens surface.
• This unit is best stored in a cool dry
environment away from bright light and
dust.
• Remove all media when storing the
camera.
• When dry, return the camera to its
packaging and store in a cool dry place
away from children.
• Uninstall the battery and store it in a safe
place if the camera will not be used for an
extended duration of time.
